The use of their supernatural capabilities is very unique, and it takes care to remind us, they are not human. They are not bound to our sense of time or rules. The world is theirs to play in. The intensity made me squirm in the best way, the thought of being seen this closely is both terrifying, and also a desperate clawing need. This was truly a unique and affecting experience, and so perfectly them.

The ending isn't too explicit and it's a shorter scene, so you could get away with this in public, but it deserves your undivided attention so savor this one at home!

*Minor Spoilers* I truly cannot praise this story enough! This Quiet Place inspired AU is a nonstop thrill ride of horror, wrapped in the softest, most touching underbelly of love and survival and I cannot stop thinking about it.

You don’t need to know A Quiet Place to read this, all you need to know is that creatures have descended upon London. We follow Crowley through the first moments of this tragedy, and we are right there with him. This author commands these big, intense scenes with such precision that it took absolutely no effort for me to lose myself in this world. It’s visceral and chaotic, yet perfectly controlled, keeping us hooked on every word. I was terrified! And completely glued to my screen! The cinematic quality here isn't just because this is a movie inspired AU, the writing itself is just that good.

And despite the horrors outside their door, hope survives. Simple routines are built, trust is given freely, and resilient sprouts of love push through. Though dialogue is sparse, you’ll feel everything. The prose works magic in small, quiet moments, making the terror seem almost beatable. Because really, how could they fail when they have a love this pure?

If you're a horror movie fan, you have to read this one! It's too perfectly crafted to miss out. Plus the artwork from Lenaellsi is phenomenal! Such skill and storytelling! There is nothing explicit in this story so feel free to read this in public, but your attention is going to want to lock completely in, so make sure you can devote the time to this!

What do you miss the most? Concerts. I used to attend them fairly often. I miss having music playing throughout the day. My phonograph was spinning more often than it was not, and it really gave the shop a bit more life! I never was one for Walkmen, always preferred a record to a pale electronic version. But now with, well, everything, I have never been more regretful of that choice. Walkmen? You’re behind by a few decades at least. Oh, hush! What about you? What do you miss? *Minor Spoilers* A Book Omens fic for you! How neat is it that we can so easily swap between Book/TV versions and have them match so well? The characters are so strong that you can picture them however you want and it'll always be recognizably them.

This one plays on the idea of them playing Truth or Dare throughout history. I love this game for them, it plays beautifully into who they both are. Stubborn, competitive, secretive, unable to let things go. Both of them want so badly to tell their Truths, to give in to desire or vulnerability. But they won't. They both love to flirt with the edges, but they'll always turn back to repression and avoidance. The game they're playing is fun, but also has a lot to say about their relationship and characterizations.

This is a very interesting and clever story. I loved all the historical scenes and how rich the history felt. It really fits well into Good Omens canon, especially in dialogue and prose. Everything about it works so well! Safe in public, there is a short semi explicit scene right at the very end but it should make for a great read wherever you are!

They both burn so bright, and are so damn stubborn! The side characters are hilarious scene-stealers, and the Them as the wedding staffers was one of my favorite parts. I couldn't get enough, they were so much fun to see popping up. Also shout out to Warlock inclusion, I love to see a Warlock!

It’s funny, light, and perfect for a read on the go. It's completely safe in public, but know that you'll have one of those dopey smiles on your face if you do decide to read this around others.

 *Minor Spoilers* Here we join Aziraphale and Crowley as they are planning a Valentine's day social for their university's book club. This fic is a pretty pink heart-shaped candy box of t4t joy, rivalry shenanigans, unrealized sexual tension, and clever book references, and I've eaten the entire box!

There's such a life and charm to this story! It's fluffy and sweet, and their rivalry was very entertaining. There's tons of funny and clever lines that made me giggle, and others that have really rewarding character moments hidden inside. One of my favorites of these moments, was Aziraphale remembering each book club members favorite book. It's presented in a really wonderful narrative beat, but also shows us how Aziraphale loves and cares for his friends and club members. Crowley is just as caring, though of course he'll never want to be seen as being kind. He can't help it though, that boy has a heart of gold and a need to be of service to his loved ones.

The bulk of the story is sweet as pie and perfectly safe in public, but it wouldn't be an ineffabildaddy fic without tender, loving, and nurturing trans sex. There's a gorgeous little scene towards the end that made me feel like cupid shot an arrow right through my heart. Crowley's gender expression is especially dear to me, and seeing him represented as a transmasc character who isn't medically transitioning was so fresh and perfectly him. I just absolutely adore these two and this fic. It's such a kind love story, and an absolute mood boost if you need cheering up!

*Minor Spoilers* Now back when this fic was a WIP, I swear to you, it only updated when I was at work. I would hide in corners and stretch out a bathroom break just to try to read it, I was so desperate to see what these two were up to. But it was just too steamy, and I would have to give up and save it for later. It was the most delicious temptation and made an already erotic story even more addicting!

I just love this setting!! Aziraphale is an online sex worker and this story fully commits to the idea in the best possible way! It is filthy, and unafraid to really experiment with Aziraphale's cam shows. There's so much variety in how he performs. Different toys, outfits, themes, that really pushed my expectations and made me just as excited as Crowley to see what the Angel had for us this time. I loved the power and confidence he finds in camming, and I love that it's not something he's expected to not enjoy or to eventually quit. And the comments on his page were always such a blast! I love a social media bit done well, and this was excellent.

Oh and Crowley? He is a world class simp in this and I fully agree. I loved the world and plot outside of the camming! It's funny, warm, adorable at times and thrilling in others. The plot of the two of them as coworkers was a joy, and the excitement of knowing both paths were destined to collide was so much fun. I enjoyed everything about this story! But please just save it for at home. It was torture trying to read this in public and trust me, you'll want to enjoy it fully.

Looks like our "sex god" late night host Crowley might not be as unflappable as he portrays himself, and our prim and proper Aziraphale might be hiding a few tricks up his sleeve!

The voice in this story is phenomenal! It is told through first person pov from Crowley, and his narration had me howling. I was constantly grinning and the jokes always landed! The characterization is so fun, and the setting just works. Truly one of the most fun fanfics I've ever read. This story is completely safe in public and it makes for an excellent read while out and about!

This is just tons of fun. I loved the voice of this story, it's witty and cheeky, and I just flew through it smiling the whole time. Their chemistry is undeniable to everyone except Aziraphale. The poor dear is so repressed from his feelings, and tamps down every rational thought when it comes to Crowley. He's such a bitch in this, and I loved it! It's clear to us what's going on, how Aziraphale's anxieties and insecurities are blocking him, but his absolute refusal to see that makes the entire thing so satisfying to watch.

You'll probably be fine in public with this, but we do get a very enjoyable steamy moment behind the curtains towards the end so be prepared.

*Minor Spoilers* If you've been around my recs before, you know this author is phenomenal. This one is no exception and you will have such a fun and delicious time.

Crowley has the hots for his neighbor, and his neighbor has the hots for....well...everyone! Not to make this rec entirely about the polyamory plot (because there is SO much to enjoy about this story), but let's talk about it! It's seems to still be a little taboo in fanspaces to see ships being poly. I personally haven't read many, and elsewhere online, I've seen some pretty negative reactions to polyamory in ships. If our angel and demon can be in any forms they want, they can absolutely be poly too. And this was a lovely take on the trust, complex emotions, safety, and joy that can be found in non-monogamy. If this is a dynamic you're resistant to for this ship, I'd encourage you to sit with that and wonder why that is.

The characterization is top tier as well. God how I desperately wish I could find myself in this lift after a night with Aziraphale!! He is so competent and assuring. His directness and safety in the bedroom had me weak at the knees. To be held and cherished by him would just be everything! And Crowley is an absolute joy! Full of life, and I love his friendship with Nina and Maggie! It feels like a reverse omens kind of story in some ways. Crowley being a slightly more soft and bright, curious creature. Aziraphale as this deadly sexy tempter. Really plays so well on all the fluidity of their characters. I just love this story and how it is as just as domestic and tender as it is naughty. Also 1 million pets to Blanche, who definitely deserves a little lasagne-as a treat.

Good Omens Fic Rec: Be As You've Always Been

For six thousand years, Aziraphale did his best to exist within the strictures of Heavenly conduct. It wasn’t a perfect practice; his relationship with Crowley, just for example, was never exactly what one might call “officially sanctioned,” or even, “particularly wise,” but the important thing was that Aziraphale tried. He wasn’t a very good angel, but he did his best, more or less. Wasn’t that all anyone could really ask of him? It doesn’t really feel fair, is the point, that in reward for saving the world, Aziraphale seems to be having something of an existential crisis.

*Minor Spoilers* This fic truly is phenomenal. This one gripped me, blew my mind, and the dialogue between our pair was perfect! It's clear that a lot of love and labor went into this story, and it really honors the style of Terry Pratchett.

Following the failed Apocalypse, Aziraphale decides it's time for a change. Heaven can't control him anymore, and so he lets loose! Time for colors and textures, to be as loud as he pleases! He gets a full new wardrobe, a fresh coat of paint on his nails, and a beautiful blue convertible that made my heart swell over and burst. All that's missing is to figure out what he is now, what's he supposed to do, and what exactly does Crowley feel for him in return?

Everything you've ever loved about Good Omens is in this. Deep philosophy about human nature and life itself wrapped up in humor and love. I am not familiar with Discworld, but it's influence was clear and easy for me to follow. I could clearly point out where it came into play, and I never felt out of the loop. It was explained perfectly and made so much sense in this world. One of it's concepts/it's big reveal quite literally made me stop reading to ask my cat if he was, "seeing this shit" (he was not). I am in such genuine wonder and excitement over this story. It's a love story of course, but there is so much to unpack in this. I truly think this is a must read, and I would love to know your thoughts about it!

I'm going to end with a stolen line from a comment on this fic, "Free Will and Kindness are at their best at their intersection... the best of kindness is an authentic choice, and the best use of free will is to be kind."

*Minor Spoilers* Oh this is gorgeous gorgeous GORGEOUS! This is everything that I personally love, and it's such a tender and erotic look through a window, into a certain bedroom in the South Downs.

This is just one scene of our pair trying out bondage for the first time. It's heart sickeningly tender and healing as much as it is insanely sexy. And the prose is just beautiful. I particularly love this admission at the ending, “You held onto me....You took me flying, and you held onto me, and you didn’t let me go.” What a lovely depiction of the trust these two have for each other, and how vulnerable it can be to give your body completely to another. Truly a fantastic little story that you need to save for a quiet read, preferably in bed.

*Minor Spoilers* This is a personal favorite of mine that has unfortunately gotten trapped in my rec hiatuses twice now! But no longer, I simply must gush about this story!

This is such a thrilling and erotic "Through the Ages" story about another Arrangement our pair have been keeping. One where Aziraphale has sex with humans while Crowley watches. What starts off as an accident becomes a way for them to play in the grey areas. If they look but don't touch, if they don't acknowledge what's taking place, if it stays in the shadows, then they stay safe. From Head Office sure, but also from their own unquenchable desire for each other. It's so incredibly erotic to me, Crowley's voyeurism made me hyper aware of our voyeurism as readers as well. As we "look" in on these scenes, don't we also want to say, “Worship him...Praise him. Make him feel like he’s a precious gift from the Lord herself.” Anyway, let's just say I'm a sucker for all of this.

Our second half of the story gets to be so fun and loving. It's playful and we heal all the hurts from when they couldn't be intimate together. Now that they get to have it all, they truly go for it! Finally they just get to have fun and enjoy their time together without fear! It was such a fun little repeat of the first chapter as they get to rewrite memories together. I hope this iteration is having so much fun! They deserve it and I know they'll constantly be finding new ways to love and enjoy their life.

There is so much to enjoy here, but do it from the comfort of your home (or bed) it's much too naughty for public....I guess unless you're into that sort of thing as I suspect these iterations would be.

After attempting to finally get in contact with the angel again, Crowley finds out Aziraphale has been accused of murdering Mr Howard, Soho staple and owner of the Harmony Emporium a few doors down...in his very own bookshop. It's up to Aziraphale and Crowley to solve this mystery, or else they might be next.

*Minor Spoilers* I simply adore everything about this story! It's the Roaring 20's and Crowley has just happened upon a grisly scene at A.Z. Fell & Co.'s bookshop! Who killed the Record Shop owner? Why is Aziraphale covered in blood? And what happens when Crowley decides to wear white?? The game is on!

What I wouldn't give to see this as a show minisode. I can totally picture how it would’ve played out on screen, and exactly it would have been acted. It nails the zany vibes of the 1941 flashback, and I could hear Aziraphale’s voice delivering every single line. The characterization was absolutely perfect in my eyes.

And making it wives! My heart can’t handle it. I loved their disguises, and the (AMAZING) included illustrations set the tone perfectly. It gave me such a fun dose of nostalgia for Nancy Drew books! The mystery was a blast, and seeing them run around town, interviewing witnesses, and chasing down bad guys? Pure joy. I would absolutely read an entire series of these two solving mysteries together.

It’s funny, it’s heartwarming, and it’s so perfectly in character. Do yourself a favor and check it out—it’s the perfect little pick-me-up that’ll leave you so warm and joyful. I promise!
