Eddie grew more and more frustrated as training continued with Aidan. Not use his powers? Then what was the point of him even training to be able to use them! Sure, he shouldn’t need to rely on them, but to not be able to begin fighting against Aidan with them. “We’re mostly against mutants,” Eddie mumbles as he takes a sip of his water.
“What was that?”
“I just don’t see why I can’t train with my powers,” Eddie runs his fingers through his hair, “at this rate, I won’t even be able to fight Fei.”
“If you rely on them, then what would you do if you were powerless?”
“Here’s the thing, I won’t be powerless.”
“Eddie dear, Aidan’s trying to help you.”
“I get that Anna! It’s just that I see this whole thing to be pointless,” Eddie sighs as he stands back up, “I think I’ll be taking my break now.”
“When will you be back?” Aidan asks as he cleans off his gun.
“Not sure, if I don’t come back by tonight just stop the training, alright?” Eddie slams the door as he heads out, he wasn’t mad at Aidan, he just didn’t see the point in this training. As he walks towards the coffee shop, he could feel himself beginning to get more lost in his thoughts.
“Babe!” Luda shouts, cupping Eddie’s cheeks as he stood in line to order.
“Oh, hey Luda!”
“Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be training with Aidan?” Luda releases his face, raising an eyebrow as she spoke to him.
“I should be, but it’s going nowhere.” Eddie groans as his head falls onto her shoulder, “What do I do?! At this rate I’ll just always be running away.”
“From what?”
Eddie’s head instantly snaps upward upon seeing Youngjae, “Jae! I didn’t know you worked today.”
“You seem awfully down, what’s up?”
Luda glances at Eddie, “Nothing, he just got into an argument back home.”
“With who?”
“Aidan, that’s all.”
Youngjae purses his lips, “It doesn’t seem like you’re angry, shouldn’t you tell your best friend everything?”
“Jae-”
Youngjae glances around the seemingly empty coffee shop, “Go on, what’s this secret you two have been hiding from me?”
“We’re getting married!”
Eddie widens his eyes at Luda, “We’re what now!?”
Youngjae rolls his eyes, “I’m not that gullible you know, so what’s up?”
“I guess I should tell you since you know, it’ll mean we left you out if I don’t.”
Youngjae leans against the counter, “Well?”
“I-I’m a!”
“Speedster?”
Eddie quickly nods his head, “Yes! Speedster- wait, how did you know?!”
“I’ve known since you came here that one night,” Youngjae laughs, “you don’t hide it that well you know?”
“Okay so you know! Now you know why I’m frustrated over training with Aidan.” Eddie sighs as he sinks into one of the stools, “I just wish I had someone with a similar power as me!”
“Like another speedster?”
“Exactly! Vinn is busy looking from Luciel, Anna is just helping Aidan, and I couldn’t even imagine fighting Luda.”
“Hey!”
“Babe you know it’s true.”
“I mean, what do you need help on exactly?” Youngjae asks, taking a seat by his friend.
“Everything! Phasing, being able to summon lightning, running back in time, going forward in time, and most importantly! Not running away!”
Youngjae bites his lip, “That does sound tough to find someone who would be able to do that.”
Eddie glances at Luda who looked as though she was suppressing a smile, “What’s wrong Luda?”
“Can I tell him Youngjae? Pleeeease!”
Youngjae laughs, “Eddie I can help you.”
“You? Choi Youngjae? The man who can make coffee.”
“Yes me, are you up for a race?”
“Right now? It’s almost closing time isn’t it?”
He unties his apron, wiping his hands on it as he sets it down, “Around the city, just you and me.”
“Is this some test to see if I actually can run?”
“Let’s call it that, now how about we start from here?” He points towards the entrance of the shop, “Luda will see who wins, got it?”
“Okay Jae just get ready to lose.”
“Go.”
“Huh?” Eddie’s eyes widen as he sees the streak of gold follow Youngjae from behind, “Holy shit.” The two race side by side one another as they run through the entire city, Eddie’s smile never leaving his face whenever he was able to pass Youngjae, once they were neck to neck- he was taken by surprise upon seeing Youngjae going straight through the wall which meant he had won. “Y-You! You can phase!”
“I can phase.”
“You have to teach me Jae! You!”
“For a small fee of-”
“Any fee! I’ll pay millions if I have to.”
“Eddie!” Luda warns.
Eddie hugs Youngjae, “You’re going to be the greatest teacher! I’m so hyped holy shit!”
“Come here every morning and every night, we’ll be able to catch you up in no time.”
“I can’t believe you’ve been hiding this from me!”
Youngjae laughs, “Go home and tell Aidan about it.” “You bet I will!”
“Now, I should be closing the shop, how about you and Luda head home?”
“Need some help?”
“Trust me, I can do this quite fast.”

I was in the meeting room trying to come up with a plan, but at the same time I was feeling really anxious. If I hadn’t yelled at Luciel, he wouldn’t have left the house. This was my fault, and I needed to find a way to get him back. “Alright, they must’ve went somewhere not too far from here.” I said.
“They have helicopters and planes! They could be on their way to China for all we know.” said Luda.
“Perhaps he took him to the same base we infiltrated,” Vinn replied. “That could a possible place. “No, they’re not dumb enough to make the same mistake again, especially when they’ve kidnapped one of our most powerful.” I said. “He has more than one base?” Anna asked. “Yeah, being rich and successful makes for more than one base.” I replied. “Find anything on your run Ed?” I asked. “I looked all around New York and couldn’t find anything. It’s like they just vanished,” Eddie asked. “They’ve gotta be somewhere.” I replied.
“The underground perhaps. I wouldn’t doubt that Harris has bases set up underground.” I said. “Where would we even start? There’s probably tons of routes underneath and any of them could be it,” replied Anna. “We’ll find a way, but first, we’d better get training. None of us are ready yet and would be no use if we can’t even face what we’re up against,” I said. “Vinn, you’re going to help Anna control her abilities while I help Eddie in combat.” Everyone proceeded to leave the room to prepare.
“Where could the kid be at?” I asked myself.
A week went by into the training. The kid still has a lot to learn. He’s fast, but too reliant on his powers. “Listen kid, if you’re wanna get better at fighting, you can’t rely on your powers all the time. You gotta mix it up with hand to hand combat.” I commented.
Another week goes by, the kid is going somewhere, but he still needs to train. He’ll be the ultimate fighting machine if he’s able to master fighting and at the same time balancing his speed. “I need to set up realistic kinds of situations for Eddie to complete” I thought. Luckily he has an enormous backyard. It’ll be the perfect place to set up my obstacle course. I tried to make it as hard as possible. It ended costing me a shit load of money.
I bought a ton of wood, metal, and other materials to set up a military like obstacle course. “Alright kid, you’re gonna go through this obstacle course for as many times as I say so. And once you’re done, you’re gonna take a small break. Then once you’re done, you’re gonna fight me without your powers. If you beat me, we can move on to the next step” I instructed. “Alright, what if I fail?” Eddie asked. “You go through the whole thing again until you succeed” I said.
“Rest in peace me” Eddie replied. “You’ll be fine, just do what you’re told, and use what I taught you, and you’ll be fine.” I replied.

Everyone sat in silence after the abrupt exclamation that had come out of Luciel just twenty minutes before. No one met eye to eye around the table, as if doing so might create another outburst like earlier. Finally, Eddie broke what felt like hours of lingering and silence.
“I think you were a bit too hard on him Aiden,” the boy said.
Aiden gave out a sigh before replying back. “I know..I touched a nerve I shouldn’t have. But the kid really needs to get it through his mind that all of this is important.”
Anna took a seat beside Aiden after making herself a cup of tea and spoke. “It’s as you said though, he is just a kid. Give him time Aiden, not everyone can just accept who they are and what they have to do in an hour, or even a month.”
She fidgeted with a small glowing orb that projected from her hand. It radiated in a sky blue color with touches of purples and reds waving inside of it. “I know it certainly didn’t come quickly to me,” she said without taking her eyes off the orb.
Growing frustrated with irritation, Vinn abruptly stood up and left the room.
Silence fell upon the table again. However, no one else left the room afterwards.
-------
Vinn wandered around the area outside of the house, searching for Luciel. “Perhaps he ran off to who knows where, leaving us to never see him again. Only to be caught by the immigration officers,” Vinn thought.
“Oh the poor boy,” he said out loud to himself as he strolled nearer to the park. “It’s getting late, and I know he hasn’t come back yet. I would’ve known,” he thought.
Vinn tried to call out to Luciel telepathically. “Luciel! I know you’re upset but please tell me where you are!” There was no response. “There’s something wrong,” Vinn murmured to himself. Even without a reply, Vinn would’ve been able to notice if his mind was near.
Searching around the park frantically, Vinn noticed something on the swing of a playground and picked it up. A white hair.
-------
Everyone was standing around in the library, anxiously waiting for either Vinn and Luciel to come back, all mentally formulating their own apologies for the event that had transpired, from what is now, two hours ago.
Vinn burst through the door to see all eyes on him. “Luciel’s gone missing, and I know who might’ve took him,” exclaimed the blonde haired man.
Anna let out a short gasp before Aiden asked what happened.
“I was searching for Luciel outside but I couldn’t feel his mind’s presence anywhere close, and I found this stray white hair,” said Vinn.
“What does a white hair have anything to do with Luciel going missing?! Luciel’s hair isn’t even that color!” exclaimed Luda.
Vinn explained. “That’s because it isn’t Luciel’s. It’s Rinji’s, an underling that Harris went out of his way to find after I left. He’s not human nor is he full animal.”
“What are you saying Vinn? That he’s some weird neko?” asked Eddie.
“To be completely honest, when you put it like that he is,” said Vinn. “He’s a master swordsman with the instinct and ability of a nine-tailed fox. You can’t exactly miss him if you were to come across him, which I don’t doubt will happen. Nevertheless, I’m sure he took him, but you can run a DNA test on this hair to confirm my suspicions Aiden.”
Aiden took the sample and stuck it in a plastic bag. “Well we know for sure that we have to go find the kid, before anything bad happens to him. While he has grown on me and I wouldn’t like to see that kid mutilated, I don’t like the thought of Harris being able to use his powers against us.”
Luda looked at Eddie and back to Aiden and spoke. “You saw what happened to everyone, you, Vinn, and Eddie! We can’t go against them like this, we’re unprepared. They took us down like nothing last time, and it was only two of them!”
“She’s right, we don’t have the kind of firepower they do,” said Eddie.
“Well we’re going to have to, if we want to retrieve Luciel back,” said Vinn.
Aiden looked around at the group, seeing as they’re obviously distraught on what to do. “We need to train, we’ll get all hands on board and figure out how to strategically get Luciel back. But first, we’ll need Eddie to help locate where he is. He can cover the most ground and get back to us the fastest.”
“I’ll get right on it,” said Eddie as he grasped Luda’s hand.
Aiden looked around at everyone. “We’ll need everyone’s help for this. I understand that we’re not the greatest with our teamwork at the moment, but we’ll all work as one in order to bring Luciel back. We have to, if we’re to beat the shit out of Harris and his goons,” he said.

HEY YALL so like i’ve been noticing like varying lengths in everyone’s posts recently (ik ik as we get further in we feel lazy but i think we should like have a minimum word count per post? So i took the average of every single word count in the post and came to about 500. So for now, let’s like keep our posts to at least 500 words. That way we can like have more progress in the story :)))))

Luciel let out a sigh as he watched the two enemies take off in the sky.
“Oh thank god, I thought we were for sure going to die,” Luciel said in an exasperated tone as he dropped Vinn and also sat down.
Eddie and Aiden came running over as well.
“Fucking cowards,” Aiden muttered.
“That was her...” Eddie started out with a whisper, however his tone began to grow louder and louder, “Somi, Kumpimook, Yugyeom! It was her! That murderer!”
Luciel gazed sulkingly at the night sky. He hated this. He wanted to go back home, to old times. But what exactly were old times? Before everyone in his class died?
No... before her.. Luciel thought to himself.
The girl that kept haunting his dreams, Kimi. She was the root of all of this. She did this, she murdered their whole class, killed herself and ended up blaming him, of course!
It’s so obvious, I don’t know how anyone else didn’t see this. It’s all your fault Kimi. All your fucking-
“Luciel!” Eddie called, snapping him back to reality.
“Huh?”
“We should head back, I called Luda, she should be ready to treat Vinn at home, can you help us carry him since it looks like you’re one of the most uninjured?”
“Oh uhm, sure,” Luciel said, carefully hoisting half of Vinn onto his shoulder with Aiden carrying the other side.
~~~~
Nearly a week had passed since the attack from Fei and Voland. The atmosphere in the house had become much more grim. They had tasted the strength of their enemy, and knew that they were no match.
Luciel always found himself hiding from the others due to their constant nagging for him to train. Thanks to the size of Eddie’s house, it was relatively easy to find a spot the others wouldn’t think of and then rotate them from day to day. Most of the time now, he took his phone as opposed to playing on a computer since that was too exposing.
Within this timespan Luciel had managed to level up his virtual girlfriend to a virtual waifu. Though he sorely missed his panty pile in the gaming lab, Luciel made do with invading Luda and Anna’s rooms when they weren’t around, as well as Eddie’s mom’s closet.
He noticed however, that as the days went by, food became harder and harder to find downstairs. The snack pantry started looking empty, there were no leftovers, the fridge was almost always empty.
Tody, Luciel’s hiding spot was a room he had found in the attic. He found himself clutching his stomach, groaning in hunger. He knew this was their plan to get him out of hiding. Anna was the most likely culprit. They were limiting their food purchases to a meal for just enough people, keeping snacks and on hand so Luciel couldn’t steal it.
He clutched his stomach, curling up. Glancing at his phone, he realized the next meal wouldn’t be until sunrise. Luciel let out another groan as he buried his face into the sheets of the bed.
“If only I had a pair of panties,” he muttered as he forced himself to go to sleep.
~~~~~
“Uhm, Luciel, can we talk outside?” A green eyed girl asked shyly, avoiding the gaze of all her upperclassmen.
“Sure?” Luciel replied, as he stood up, giving a wide grin to his bespectacled best friend, Anju.
As they both left the classroom, he heard some hoots and catcalls from his classmates.
He followed her outside to the place by the vending machines.
“Aha, sorry about them, Kimi,” Luciel said, scratching his head.
“It’s okay,” Kimi replied, still looking down.
Luciel and Kimi had been talking a lot recently. At first it was only Anju who knew, but as Luciel and Kimi grew closer and more open, the entire school had heard of them.
Of course, the two weren’t necessarily dating just yet. Anju had always pushed Luciel to make it official, but he wasn’t entirely sure of Kimi’s feelings to him, and didn’t want to make anything uncomfortable.
“Luciel... I need to tell you something,” Kimi said, looking up at him.
“What is it?”
“I...” She began, pausing to take a deep breath, “LOVE YOU!”
And just like that, time felt as if it had stopped.
Luciel felt his cheeks growing wet.
“L-Luciel! Are you crying?” Kimi asked, her face turning red.
“Ah AH! They are! Ah, this is so embarassing,” Luciel stuttered as he used his sleeve to wipe his face.
“D-does this mean you don’t have the same feelings?” Kimi asked, her eyes lowering again.
Suddenly, she felt her chin being tipped up as Luciel planted his lips onto hers, “Don’t be silly, of course I love you too.”
She grew even redder, “T-then why were you crying!”
Luciel laughed, “Because I’m so happy, that’s why!”
Kimi laughed as well as she hugged her new boyfriend.
“Can I say it one more time?” Kimi whispered, her head leaning against Luciel’s head.
“Anytime,” Luciel replied.
“I love you.”
~~~~~
Luciel woke up to the scent of food downstairs.
That damn woman... Luciel muttered to himself as he got out of bed. He took his toothbrush and toothpaste with him as he wandered the halls, searching for the closest restroom to brush his teeth.
After his morning cleaning, he trudged down the stairs towards the kitchen.
“Well look who it is,” Vinn said, looking up from his novel.
“I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!” Eddie cried, standing up from the table in shock.
“I wish,” Luciel muttered to himself as he sat down.
“Luciel! So good to see you!” Anna said, a victorious smile on her face, “Where’ve you been hiding?”
Luciel ignored her as he folded his arms, looking the other way.
“Answer your elders you useless pervert!” Luda snapped.
“Luda, if we’re too mean to him, he might go into hiding again,” Eddie whispered to his girlfriend.
She tightened her grip on his hand turning to him.
“Eddie, darling,” she began, “You’re too nice for your own good sometimes. We both know Luciel has been absolutely useless in every way possible and that he’s continuing to avoid his responsibilities which could ineveitably put you, my boyfriend in danger!”
As she continued with each word, she seemed to go faster, resulting in a slightly concerned look from Eddie.
“I’m right here you know,” Luciel said, glaring at the petite girl.
“Well then, why don’t you take to my advice, and become useful?”
“Well for one, I never asked to be dragged into any of this,” Luciel replied, his voice raising.
This time, it was Aiden’s turn to step in.
“Alright kid, listen, I’m getting real tired of your bullshit here. Do you think any of us wanted to be dragged into this mess? Do you think I wanted to be framed for mass murder or end up in a Russian prison? Do you think Eddie wants to know he can never see his friends again otherwise they’d die? To be coerced into cheating on his old girlfriend? Or Vinn? Do you think he wanted to know his lover was nothing but scum?” Aiden said as he had pointed to each person in the room, “No. No one wanted this. But are any of us bitching about it? No! Everyone here is working their ass off so we can fucking kill Harris. But you? You’re too busy playing hide and seek to even assess the situation!”
“So what? Harris has nothing to do with me unlike the rest of you!” Luciel retorted, “I’m not involved in any of this! I’m not in any military, I’m not super rich, I’m not the co-founder of any sort of organization! I don’t even fully understand how I got here!”
“Well here, let me lay it out for you!” Aiden snapped, “You’re here because you have the ability to take other powers which leads to attention from people all around, Harris included. And if Vinn hadn’t picked your ass up, maybe Harris would have! And trust me kid, this is a lot better than being under Harris’s grip. So why don’t you show a little sense and actually thank us?”
“Thank you? For what? I don’t need help with anything okay? I had a plan perfectly set out!”
“And what about that institution that kept monitoring you?”
“They were going to stop eventually!”
“Yeah eventually as in when they sold you to Harris, afterall, no one wants to keep watch of a little time bomb.”
“What did you call me?”
“I’ve heard all about it, the proof is undeniable, you murdered your entire classroom,” Aiden sneered, “It’s unbelievably stupid how much you try to deny it when-”
“SHUT UP!” Luciel shouted, his hands covering his ears, “SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!”
He felt his heart racing, the thuds all the way to his ears. He could hear the sharp breaths he was taking as well as the stickyness from the sweat on his palms.
He glanced around the room, all eyes were on him.
Why? What are they looking at! Stop it! STOP!
Before anyone could react, Luciel had turned the other way, running out the door.
I hate them I hate them I hate them I hate them all! Luciel cried in his mind as he ran as far as he could. Why are they blaming me? None of this is my fault! I’m not like them!
Once the adrenaline had wore off, Luciel found himself, once again, at a park.
He pulled out his phone, quickly scrolling to his virtual waifu app.
Before he could begin to talk with it, a strangely familiar voice interrupted him.
“Oh, we meet again.”
Luciel jolted as he looked up from his phone to see a wavy haired man, draped in a kimono, ears and tails.
“It’s you! The cosplayer!” Luciel shouted.
“A what?” The man asked, unsure of what Luciel was referring to.
“A cosplayer! Costume play! You’re dressing up!”
“What? No I’m no-”
“Yeah yeah, those ears and tails give it away,” Luciel replied, folding his arms smugly.
The man curled his lip, pausing for a moment as he was unsure how to respond.
He sighed as he decided to show Luciel his foxfire.
“See? These ears and tails aren’t fa-”
“But I mean, sure you might have a fire power but there’s no way you can have tails and ears like that, I mean come on!” Luciel goaded.
The man grabbed both of Luciel’s hands, “You idiot! These ears and tails are real!”
“H-hey I don’t think you want to touch my hands...” Luciel said, uncomfortable by the man’s invasion of space.
“Oh? Why? Afraid you’ll take my power?” The man taunted, before narrowing his eyes, “Try it.”
“Okay whatever you say,” Luciel said, attempting to start a fire in his hands.
The man smirked at Luciel’s confused expression.
“Wait why can’t I...”
“Because I’m not human you idiot.”
“Huh? Wait! How’d you know I could take powers!”
“Because you’re about to be my prisoner,” The fox said with a wicked smile as he leaned closer to Luciel, “Sweet dreams~”
With the last words, Luciel's vision had turned black, passing out.
Eddie was panting as he stared at Volan release a laugh towards him, “You just foiled that friend’s plan of yours!”
From the corner of his eye he could see Aidan curse in anger, “That won’t change the fact that I’ll kill you!”
“You? This….this puny cheetah kill me?” His deep laugh roared throughout the parking lot, “I could kill you now, unfortunately, that’s not what I was commanded to do.”
Eddie wiped the blood off of his chin, “What do you mean?”
“It means I’m leaving soon, little boy.” Volan proceeds to lift another car up, “Now, you should say goodnight shouldn’t you?”
Eddie runs to the upper floor of the parking lot, “Shit what do I do?!” He scans the area, trying to find any weapon that could help him out. Unfortunately, there were only cars around which in fact- would not help him. As he dashes from the behind of Volan, he was met with the big man’s hand wrapping around his throat. His vision begins to turn black, as he attempts to gasp for air. He knew Aidan couldn’t shoot Volan, or else he’d end up shooting through Eddie’s throat too.
“Volan! It’s time to go!” A familiar female voice shouts.
“Already?”
“Our ride is here!”
Eddie could see the face of the same lady who killed Yugyeom and Kunpimook back home, “You!” Eddie shouts.
“Me,” Fei replies, folding her arms to emphasize her chest. “Hasn’t it been a long time darling? The last time I saw you we were about to make love.”
Eddie clenches his fists, “You killed them!”
“Still hung up over that are we?” Fei smiles, “We’ll have to catch up some other time don’t we?” Her heels echo as she approaches Eddie, her finger trailing downward towards his chin, “My, what a handsome man you are.”
“Fei!” Volan shouts as the sounds of a helicopter enter the room.
“So long Eddie!” Fei shouts as a ladder comes down to pick the two up.
Many gunshots begin firing towards them, however they somehow all miss the two targets. “Are you running away!?” Eddie shouts.
“Us? Running! You should be the ones to run first.” Fei shouts in return before the helicopter rides off into the night.
Late Asf
I shot him multiple times but since he’s a telekinetic, he can basically stop my bullets. I was very frustrated. I reloaded my weapon before hitting him with another five shots and he blocked them all. I sighed thinking there should be a solution to this. While Eddie is fighting him, I decided to look for a different angle. I thought that if I could get to a different angle and attach a suppressor to my sniper, he wouldn’t be able to notice or hear my shots. After I climbed up to a rooftop, I got my sniper ready and I aimed for the head. But before I could take the shot, Eddie decided to do a fast punch basically pushing Volan away from my sights a second before I took the shot. Eddies lucky he wasn't an inch closer to the center of my scope or I would've blown his head off. Volan noticed the shot before I could fire another few rounds at him. He blocked the rest of my shots. "Son of a bitch!" I yelled in frustration.
Vinn brushed off his shoulder while facing the woman in front of her. The familiarity of his presence brought an unnerving, but beautiful smile.
“Harris’ diamond boy,” Fei said in a sarcastic manner. “When did someone like you start to have a change of heart?” she asked while fanning herself with her weapon.
“Former diamond boy Fei,” Vinn corrected with a tone of annoyance.
She gave him a laugh in response before driving her fan towards him. Vinn deflected the weapon with his arm. The sound of the blades clashing with Vinn’s diamond body only excited Fei into persisting.
He knew Fei’s game, her fan won’t leave a scratch on Vinn’s body. She understood that he couldn’t use his telepathy while in this form. Her goal was to drive him out of his diamond form in order to leave his body vulnerable to her attacks.
“It’s usless to keep trying Fei, your blade can’t hurt me,” Vinn exclaimed confidently.
“No..but it can hurt him,” Fei said before lunging herself at Luciel.
Luciel’s eyes widened with a gasp as he was staring straight into the end of a blade. He winced, then relaxed as the woman who was lunging herself towards him was now stuck in place. He looks over to see that Vinn was out of his diamond form with two fingers at his brow.
“Are you alright Luciel? I would suggest moving away from her but you’re safe for now,” Vinn asked comfortingly as he was focusing on the frozen woman before him. Luciel gave a sigh of relief and moved away from her.
“Now..if only we co-” Vinn said before being hit by a large piece of metal. Volange being the source.
“Vinn!” Luciel exclaimed before running in his direction.
Realizing that Vinn doesn’t have a hold onto Fei made Luciel turn towards to woman. Now, standing before her was the beautiful woman, standing in a before him, with her fan opened.
“Shiiiittt,” said Luciel. “C’mon big guy, you’re not leaving me alone with them,” Luciel mutters as he lifts Vinn to his feet, carefully touching him in places that aren’t skin.
“Little brat, there’s no saving you without the help of that traitor,” Fei said with a devilish smile. “Ahh it doesn’t look as if those two will be succeeding any time soon as well,” she said, looking in the direction of Eddie and Aiden’s fight against Volang.
Eddie was attacking the large man with all he had in his speed while Aiden was shooting at him from a distance, carefully evading the debris and objects being launched toward him.
Luciel trudged behind the rest glumly. He did not want to be here. He felt he could do so much more things at home. It was annoying being here, eating with everyone else and having to walk home.
“This is ridiculous, isn’t Eddie loaded or something, shouldn’t we have taken a car? A plane?” Luciel muttered to himself.
“Something the matter Luciel?” Vinn asked, turning to the younger boy.
Luciel rolled his eyes, not bothering to answer as he continued muttering, “Don’t act like you don’t know you freaking mind reader.”
“Aren’t you supposed to be protecting us?” Luda asked, obviously annoyed at Luciel’s slow pace, “I mean, you are a man afterall, and Vinn’s already watching the back so shouldn’t you be watching our front?”
“Fuck off woman,” Luciel sneered, making a face at her.
He felt a slap on his face.
“Luciel, you don’t say those things to a lady,” he heard Anna scolding, “Now, you should apologize before-”
“Guys!” They heard Eddie’s voice calling from behind.
“Oh my god, Eddie!” Luda almost screamed as she ran to her boyfriend who appeared to be injured.
“Ah, hey Luda,” Eddie replied, giving her a weak smile before he let out a hacking cough.
“Sweetie, what happened?” Luda asked, trying to help her boyfriend into a more comfortable position.
He smiled back, “They got me, sorry.”
“Got you? Who got you? Who are they?”
Luciel turned to Vinn, giving him a weird look. They both knew Eddie would have gone to the ends of the world to prevent Luda from getting involved. And of course, he should’ve come up with some sort of lie.
“Uhm... I think you should step back from him...” Luciel said, trying to keep his voice steady.
“What? Can’t I take care of my boyfriend?” Luda snapped, turning back to Eddie as she ripped his shirt, placing her hands over the wound, “Here, I’ll fix you up-”
She was cut off as Vinn dragged her away from Eddie.
“Hey what-” Her voice trailed off as she stared at the sharp ended fan sticking out of Eddie’s hands.
Luda felt her cheek, it was wet as a small stream of blood ran down.
“Huh?”
“That’s not Eddie,” Vinn explained as he pushed her behind him, turning to Anna, “You two get away, we’ll handle this.”
Before Luciel could follow the other two, he felt a tug on his shoulder.
“Not you,” said Vinn.
Luciel groaned, pushing Vinn’s hand off, “What? Come on! You know I’m usele-”
He yelped and tumbled back as a fan divided itself between Vinn and Luciel.
“Now boys, don’t forget about me,” a feminine voice hummed.
What once appeared to be Eddie was now an incredibly seductive looking woman. She had a wicked smile of her face as she fanned herself with a bladed fan.
“Uhm, hi, I’m Luciel. And look,I don’t really want any trouble, I just want to go home and-”
Luciel let out another yell as she lunged for him.
“Please don’t touch me, I’ve already been touched by two people, so I really don’t want to have any contact with you as much as I’d like trust mEEEEEEEEeee,” Luciel ducked again.
“Oh? And who would want to touch you?” The woman taunted.
“Most of them,” Luciel explained in between dodges, “Were out of discipline.”
“Oh? You like to be hit do you?”
“Not when it hurts too much.”
Fei let out a laugh as she used her fan to knock Luciel down on the ground.
“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to kill you without touching you,” She said, lifting her fan to deal a killing blow.
Suddenly, she was knocked aside by a shining figure.
“Now, don’t you forget about me,” Vinn said, a smug look on his face.
king edeedee
Eddie knew something was wrong once the crew went out for dinner the following night. He felt that something was off as they all entered the empty parking lot, “Hey babe? Go on without me.”
“Why? Do you need to go do something?” Luda asks, her arm clinging onto his.
“Your mister needs to go poop.” “That’s disgusting, I’ll tell Anna you had to go grab your wallet.”
“Alright, see you later.” Eddie made sure Luda turned the corner before he ran towards the direction he felt he was being watched at. As he hides behind one of the trucks, he instantly sees an odd looking man stomping around the corridor. “What the…” Eddie notices Aidan who was also on the other side, slowly pulling out one of the many guns he had hidden within his jacket.
Eddie grabs onto the car before full on sprinting towards the man, only to be stopped by a sudden punch meeting with his jaw. “FUCK!” Eddie screams, staring up at the man who was standing in front of him.
“You’re the speedster?”
“Huh? How the fuck do you know me!?”
“Your name isn’t important, your death is however.” Before this man was about to kill him, his arm manages to get shot by a bullet.
“My life savior! Thank you god for giving me Aidan!” Eddie whispers. However, the big man was totally unaffected. He raises his arms above Eddie, which the boy mistook as a giant punch. He was wrong, he felt as though gravity was pushing him towards the ground. “Holy shit,” Eddie manages to push through the barrier, sprinting towards a different side of the parking lot to catch air. “What was that?” He doesn’t have time to process as a car falls right on top of him, causing him to let out a cry of pain.
“Volan.”
“Volan? That sounds like a brand of birth control!”
Volan merely replies with another car crashing into Eddie, causing him to curse out in pain. “Where the fuck are you Aidan!?” Eddie screams as he decides to just do what he does best, run away.
I Got Aids
It's was past midnight. I wasn't tired, I drank a lot of coffee. I used the military computer to see if I could track down any more of Harris' associates. I was out of luck, no important accomplice was anywhere near New York. However, I happened to find an armory guarded by Harris' men. "There's no such thing as too many weapons" I thought. I put on a light bullet proof vest and decided to grab my suppressed AR-15 from under my bed, a suppressed five seven, and some c4. Everyone in the house is asleep besides Luciel. I didn't have to worry about walking by him, he's usually either playing League, or watching hentai. I thought I wouldn't be noticed until Vinn came out of nowhere. "Relax Aidan, I'm not going to tell anyone. Where are you going?" Vinn asked. "Since I'm not allowed to buy a weapon from the gun store, I'm going to invade one of Harris' many armories" I replied. "Interesting, alright good hunting. Don't worry, I'm no snitch" Vinn said. I turned to walk down the stairs before getting a warning from Vinn, "Oh Aidan, be careful" Vinn said. I nodded before walking out. I ended up at the armory. The security is terrible, I thought Harris would upgrade their security to the max. I managed to kill everyone inside. I took some of the weapon cases and left all the shitty guns. When I got back to the house. The first thing I saw when I came back was Anna sleeping on one of the couches. "Huh, that's weird. She wasn't there before I left. Was she waiting for me? If so, why?" I wondered. "Eh, that doesn't matter right now. It's passed midnight." I decided to quickly put all of my new weapons in my room before going back downstairs to pick up Anna. I picked up Anna and held her like a princess. "Huh, she's pretty light" I thought before walking her up to her room. I layed her on her bed and tucked her in before walking to the light switch. I looked back at her and whispered "Goodnight Anna" before turning off the lights and closing the door on the way out.
Vinn
After dinner, Vinn sat next to a large window on the upper floor with a cup of coffee. He had his thin rimmed glasses on while reading an article on plant types. Vinn gave a short sigh out of boredom and proceeded to head out after telepathically notifying everyone in the household.
The only response he got back was from Eddie. “Bring me back something yummy!”
It was rather late but the city was well lit and more alive than anything. Vinn strolled through tons of people under glistening city lights. He found it beautiful and wandered without direction, occasionally stopping by little shops that caught his eye.
It felt nice for him to step out of thinking about Harris constantly.
After a little while of walking aimlessly, Vinn walked into a cute pastry shop. The walls were pink and covered with animal portraits, polios, and fairy lights. There were small coffee tables with a stuffed animal sitting on each of them. The display case was lined with dozens of adorable pastries, each of them being animal themed.
A friendly male voice spoke, “Hello sir! Would you like to try our bear cookie?” Vinn looked up from the counter to see a rather attractive male worker at the other end of the counter. “I guess I might as well get Eddie something while I’m here,” thought Vinn. “Uhm yes, I’ll have one of those..with a latte and a strawberry seahorse cookie.” “Ah the strawberry seahorse is my favorite,” the man replied with a smile. It was his favorite.
Vinn sat down after receiving his beverage. “This place is...endearing. I haven’t been to a nice pastry shop in a while..”, Vinn thought to himself. “I wonder if things like this are what Eddie and Luda do all the time..or Luciel when he had a lover...that’s IF he ever had a lover..” He took a sip of his latte when he heard a voice coming his way.
Vinn looked up to see the cashier boy standing over him. “Mind if I have a seat? I’m on break,” he asked. “Of course..” Vinn said before gesturing him to sit. “I wonder what his deal is,” Vinn thought to himself.
“I was surprised to see you come in by yourself so I thought I’d come join you. My name’s Daniel by the way,” he said. “Oh I was just passing by when I saw the place and thought I’d drop by,” said Vinn. He looked him up and down. He had dark brown hair that was done up and was wearing semi-circular glasses and his pastel pink work uniform. His eyes were large and brown and he had a calm gaze that almost seemed reassuring.
“Ohh I see, is that an accent?” Daniel asked. “Mhm,” Vinn replied. Daniel gave a smile. “I’m sorry I bothered ya, something about the way you carried yourself compelled me to come talk to you. I’d like to get your number. Only if that’s alright though!” he gave a nervous laugh and scratched the back of his head.
“What’s his deal?..” Vinn thought to himself. There was no reason for Vinn to give this man his number, let alone one who works at an animal themed pastry shop. However, there was something compelling about the offer.
“Alright Daniel,” Vinn said as he wrote his phone number on a piece of paper and slid it to the boy across him. “Thank you so much! I can’t wait to get to know you!” said Daniel. “Well I’m off break now, I’ll be seeing you soon..uhm.” “Vinn.” Daniel gave a smile, “I like that name..see ya Vinn!”
“Welcome home Vinn!” said Anna, who was having some tea at the kitchen counter. “Would you like a cup of tea? I’ll pour ya some!” She proceeded to make some without a reply back, almost as if she wanted someone to talk to.
“Isn’t that what Aiden is here for?” Vinn thought to himself before sitting down. “I’m surprised you left the house so casually considering how you dress every day,” said Anna as she was making the tea. Vinn didn’t realize he left with just a t-shirt and jeans. His face went slightly red as he realized that Daniel saw him like that.
After listening to Anna talk for a while, Vinn finally made it up to his room to get ready for bed.
After cleaning up and brushing his teeth, he gets a text message. It was Daniel.
“Hey Vinn it’s Daniel! I just got off work but I wanted to say that we should hang out soon!”
“What’s his deal? It’s like I’m in grade school all over again,” Vinn thought to himself as he plopped himself on the bed. “I think I’m better off if I don’t talk to this guy,” he thought before falling into slumber.
loocy
"Dinner!” Luciel heard a voice from downstairs.
He ignored it as he was the type to wait for
a) someone to bring it up to him
or
b) leftovers when everyone else was gone.
He hummed to the song in his headset as he continued playing League, clicking away and muttering curses to himself here and there. Suddenly, his clicks stopped responding.
“Huh?” Luciel said, taking off his headset.
He got on the ground to find the internet router, only to be met with an unfamiliar woman holding the cord to the router.
“What... who are you?” Luciel asked in an annoyed tone, straightening up from the ground.
“I said it’s dinner time, Luciel,” she replied curtly.
“How do you now my name? Wait you didn’t even answer my first question-”
“Dinner time,” she replied again.
Luciel narrowed his eyes, “Look, whoever you are, you clearly don’t know how things work around here. I don’t go down for dinner time. I either have my food up here, or get it myself later when you’re all asleep. So you can do one or the other, now hand me back the cord before- hey what are you doing OW!”
Luciel cried in pain as he felt the woman yanking his ear, “Ahh! Stop! What the fuck!”
He restrained himself from touching her as he had come to the conclusion that everyone at this house possessed some sort of ability.
She managed to drag him all the way downstairs where he looked at everyone else with a bewildered face.
“WHO IS SHE?” He said, pointing a finger at the woman.
“That’s Anna,” Aidan replied, not looking up from his meal.
“IS SHE YOURS?” Luciel said, moving his finger to Aidan.
Anna smacked Luciel, “I am not a belonging! Now Luciel, it’s dinner time so I advise you to sit down with the rest of us unless you want to be tied down.”
“Can I?” Luciel asked in a quiet tone, glancing at everyone else for approval as well.
He yelped and ducked as a knife flew at him, coming from Aidan’s direction.
“Sit down and eat boy,” He grunted.
“Tch so she is yours,” Luciel muttered as he took a seat.
“Wow Anna, you really did manage to control that brat!” Luda praised, “Oh and your food is delicious!”
“I agree, your food is quite exquisite,” Vinn chimed in.
“You and I should cook together sometime Anna!” Luda said, looking to the older girl.
“Oh, we should-” her voice faltered slightly when she saw Eddie shaking his head rapidly.
Luda turned, but Eddie immediately stopped, giving his girlfriend a smile.
“It’s oookay,” Luciel muttered.
“No one asked for your opinion,” Luda retorted, turning to Anna, “Watch out for your underwear! He’s a pervert and will probably take a few here and there!”
“Don’t worry Anna, I’ll make sure that kid won’t touch your stuff,” Aidan said, still not looking at her.
“Aww you never look after any of my stuff!” Eddie complained, “Is this because you like her?”
Anna giggled as Aidan turned red, “None of your business kid.”
Luciel stuck out his tongue at the sight of love, turning to Vinn to get some kind of agreement, but Vinn appeared to be amused at the chemistry between Aidan and Anna.
Luciel managed to finish his food first, quickly standing up, “I’m done, bye.”
He scurried away from the dining room as fast as he could, avoiding Anna’s calls to get him to do some chore, and locked himself in the gaming room to ensure privacy.
“Man, everyone has a girlfriend but me,” he muttered to himself as he plugged the modem back in and got into his chair.
He pulled out the drawer next to him, lifting a secret bottom to reveal a pile of all the panties he’s stolen.
“She’s from a prison, there’s no way I want prison panties anyways,” Luciel said to himself as he grabbed a pair to sniff and proceed to do his doings.
EDHEYYYY
Upon arriving back at the household, Luda ran up to Eddie and wrapped her arms around him. “I was so worried about you! When I woke up and you weren’t in our…” her voice trailed off once she laid eyes upon Anna. “Who is this?” Her voice asks in an accusing matter.
“Anna, this is Luda! Luda, this is Anna.” Eddie smiles, totally oblivious to his girlfriend who was slowly beginning to think Eddie was cheating on her.
“It’s nice to meet you,” Anna says in a mother-like tone, reaching her hand out to shake Luda’s.
However, Luda refused to take her hand and instead grabbed Eddie’s ear and dragged him down the hallway. “OW OW OWWWW! HONEY!”
“Who is that you brought home?”
“We rescued her okay!”
“Rescued her from where?!”
Eddie gulped, he had accidentally revealed what he and Aidan were up to, “From...an orphanage?”
“You’re telling me you and Aidan went to an orphanage?”
“Um, yes?” Her response was to wack him furiously on the side of the head with his hand, “Okay okay! We snuck into a facility and got her out.”
“YOU WHAT?” “Honey shhhhh, I bet Vinn is sleeping as we-”
“I am not sleeping,” Vinn chirped from downstairs.
“Okay well then Luciel is probably trying to watch-” “HUH?” Luciel shouted from the bathroom.
“Well then Aidan most likely-”
“Don’t drag me into this kid.”
Daeho stared at Luda and sighed, “Fine, I”ll explain.” After sitting down with her and explaining the entire situation, he could see Luda was both furious and worried.
“What if you had died! I wouldn’t have even known!”
“Luda I know sorry okay? It’s just I don’t want to drag you into this mess.”
“Does Youngjae know?”
“He does not, and don’t tell him either alright? Please? For me?”
Luda bit her lip, “Fine, but don’t think I’ll let you out of my sight while you’re with her.”
“I won’t don’t worry about it okay?” Eddie rests his hands upon her shoulders, “Let’s go back down there yeah?”
Luda pouts, “But you just got home!”
“You’re with me most of the time I’m home, so let’s go back down and meet with all the others alright?”
“I mean I guess..”
“Good, now don’t be mean to Anna, she’s probably been through a lot.”
Luda glares at him, “Fine, I won’t.”
As the two head down, the entire crew were gathered in the kitchen. Watching as Anna began to prepare a meal for all of them.
“Wow Aidan good going, you brought a girl who can cook home.” Luciel tells Aidan.
Aidan glares at him, “I didn’t even know she could cook alright? We just rescued her.”
Vinn smiles, “Whatever you say, Anna would you like any help?”
“I’ll help her!” Eddie shouts, quickly hurrying over next to the shorter girl.
“Alright Eddie could you ummm, chop some vegetables?” “Yes I can! I can do it quick too!”
“I’m sure you can Eddie,” she says with a chuckle.
Luciel and Vinn observe Aidan and Luda who both were somewhat glaring as the two began working side by side to prepare their meal. “Hey Eddie why don’t you sit down? I can help her.” Luda chirps.
“No honey you can just go sit down.”
“But I insist!”
Eddie shakes his head, “It’s a man’s duty to help a pretty lady cook.”
“Edward!”
Eddie snaps his neck as he turns towards Anna, “Did you just call me Edward?!” Anna laughs, wiping her hands on the apron and putting her hands on her hips, “She clearly is jealous that you’re cooking with me! Just let Aidan help instead of you and go spend time with your darling.”
“I mean, okay mom.” Eddie mumbles as he heads out of the kitchen and takes a seat by Luda.
