What we can't do is undo the past. What we can do is to be better in the present. What we can't do is to predict the future but, thank God there is a word called "HOPE" and we can at least be Hopeful for the fruitful future.

As I slowly, bit by bit, with my hands trembling I let my windows swing with rusty sound

And I began to see the rays of light penetrating the barely opened windows

I started to realise and understand the effect of the darkness inside me

I have isolated myself from the bright light all these while

And I blamed myself for being myself

I hated myself for being the way I am, for loving someone the way I feel right.

This darkness inside me has led me to the light.

Grateful to the person who left me with the pain, the suffering and the eyes full of tears in the night.

Lesson learned the hard way.

Don't let anyone teach you how you should love. Just be real, honest, open, vulnerable, whatever you call it. Just Be YOU ! They will stay in your life if they can accept and appreciate the way you care about them, the way you show love, the way you communicate. If they can't accept then they are not the right person for you. Move forward !

Don't feel guilty for loving someone your way because you were real, honest, sincere and truthful which they couldn't see in you and appreciate it. They wanna leave? Let them go but make sure you give them assurance that you will always be there with an open arm if they ever wanna come back to you because that proves your true love.

Do not waste your time thinking about what you could have done to make a person stay in your life. Instead focus on what you can do now not to repeat the same mistake and make your life happy. If the person wants to leave you and doesn't want to work things out, let them go. That's where you find peace and healing.

Choose hope over hatred because it gives you the sense that everything will be alright when the right time comes and anything is possible when you choose hope. Don't lose the little hope that you have. Hold onto it until it changes your life.
