*Noticing the girl's clothes, when she turned to speak to Frida, the 600 year old vampire arched her brow* Are you not cold, girl? Where is your coat? It is not advisable in this time of year to be so careless.
*Something about this girl... powers she contained perhaps? They were causing her great difficulty. These were ones she was unable to control. Frida Johanson would have to do extensive research in her own private library. Perhaps there were other species in which existed she was not aware of.*
So you say a boy way as you say "getty handsy" when you attempted to deter him, he tried to bite to. *Her eyes rolled up and to the right* Could this may be a way to keep you in his arms?
How can one believe in vampires?
* Frida was about to exit her residence when Antoine caught her attention. “Ms Iversen, You almost forgot your fur. It is winter.” The beauty straightened her back and nodded as though she could have so carelessly have forgotten such a thing.* Yes, yes, Antoine. I must not have been thinking today. *It had been rumored that her sire was in town searching for her. He no longer had any good intention for her any longer.
Extending her arms back, her servant slid her fur she’d obtained in the mid 1400’s. It had been well cared for and maintained over the years. Her servants had made it when she was a teenager.
As she went to open the door a 10 year boy opened the door for her and smiled up. Glancing down a firm smile upon her face.* You will make a great warrior one day young man if you continue down this road.
*As she took a seat in the corner and ordered a brandy, she overhead the conversation. Interrupting the conversation, she laughed.* Dear girl. You make it sound as though you believe vampires truly exist. And why would you think such a thing?  @feminacanitphilomena

*Frida stood and followed the girl with a slow stride as she was now in truth a Queen with her parents and brothers dead. Though with her brother Eriend’s line carrying on, she still only remained yet a princess. Granted the world as it had become no longer believed in the Patriarchal system. They world had turned itself into a Democracy following after the New World. Sweden had done the same.*
Girl, why do you run? What have I done to make you nervous? *Frida slid on her fur with elegance.* I merely proved a point in which you questioned with your friend. And do not walk so quickly. It makes a girl look gangly. Not fit for a young man to marry. You must carry yourself well if a man is to find you attractive even in this day and age.
*Her voice commanding as she expected people, especially children to listen to her. And that’s just what this girl was. A child.* You say this boy attempted to bite you. Tell me more.
How can one believe in vampires?

Maggie was extremely upset after her encounter with Damon. She was shaking visibly and the air around her had an almost electric energy about it. ‘He tried to touch me…. or bite me…. why?’ Thr thought of Damon doing either made her upset.

“Well knowing him he probably wanted to feed off you,” Whether Damon had intended to kill Maggie. He wasn’t sure but he wasn’t shocked by his brother’s behaviour as he was used to it.

In the year of our Lord 1420 Frida Jorgensen was born to her parents the King and Queen of their Viking village Oland, Sweden. Ottar and Marne along with her four brothers Erlend, Gudvær, Alrik and Ulfrik. Being the children of the King and Queen, they were promised to wed to the children in their village. Frida’s intended was Bjørn Iverson. Frieda and Bjørn lived in the same small village. Everyone knew everyone. However it mattered little whether they liked each other. However they became close friends as they grew older.
As they grew, Ottar began training the young men of the village how to fight knowing they would go to war with the Danes. Just as the rest of the clansman had done many times during their childhood. It was Frida’s job as a growing girl to learn to cook and take care of the home for the men. Prepare their meals especially when they were going away to battle. They would not leave hungry and they would go with bread and jerky. When the men returned, she would assist in tending to the wounded Vikings.
Though at night her brothers and Bjørn trained her in the art of swordplay. Frida was not going to be left a helpless woman whilst the men went out to battle. What if the Danes attacked the village? All the women and children would be… This would not happen. Not on her watch. Her brothers understood and some of the other men in the village agreed. However they would not allow this of their own daughters as their wives did not agree. Those that wished to be trained, trained at night along with Frida and her brothers. Those that did not, she felt them cowards. They would die begging for their and their children’s lives Frida and the other women would go down fighting.
In 1434, it was discovered her brothers had been training her to fight, her parents immediately wed her to Bjørn, in the hopes this would prevent her from continuing her training. It was now all up to Bjørn as to what his wife did. Now it was a requirement that the blonde beauty would have to take care of Bjørn and the other men after battles.
A year after their marriage, 1435 their daughter Gerda was born. A beautiful blonde baby girl. As soon as she was old enough to begin training, Bjørn began training her as he did not want his daughter, the Princess of their village to not be able protect herself and the women and children of their village while he was away.
In the year 1439 the men were setting to go out to battle the next morn. Setting forth through the woods to gather roots, berries and other supplies for medicinal aid when the men returned. It was where she’d met a gentleman by the name of Rory who had been watching her for weeks.  When she noticed him, she took a defensive stance and was ready to fight for her life. He was much stronger than she. In her mouth she tasted an irony substance. Frida had tasted it before. Fighting with her brothers. It was blood. Suddenly nothing.
It was still night when she awoke with a thirst. Yet not for water. It was something she had never felt before. The man Rory had been next to her with a… Dane. Immediately Frida wished to rip him apart with more force than she could muster than ever. The artery in his neck pulsing. Without a second thought teeth barred and the woman ravaged the young man. It mattered little. They were enemies. The man who had made her this way, explained to the Viking what it was that she had now become and what the rules she now had to follow. His accent was unknown to her. He mentioned the land of Ireland.
Her hunger satiated for now, she returned home to make the medicinal and food necessary for the men going to war. Jerky, bread and other supplies. However she had not been able to enter her own hut.  Bjørn confused, asked her what she had been doing and to come into their hovel.  It was early morn as the men left. The sun was yet to rise. As this was the case, Frida was able to see Bjørn off. Children still sleeping were given their goodbyes silently. Hugging Bjørn, led to her to her to wishing to drain him of his blood. Yet she knew if she did, her family. Yet she could not. The villagers would kill her. In her mind, Frida thought about the Danes and killing only them. Enemies.. only Enemies.
To their camps she proceeded and drank three men and made it home prior to the sun rising. Gerda was outside playing when she awoke. As time went on the villagers had begun questioning as to why she only came from their hovel at night and when she returned with hogs, deer and other random animals drained of blood, they asked questions of their King about his daughter. Frida excused her adventures as she felt it was her job as a woman to provide food for her family, and if there was additional meat remaining, she provided for the village as well. It was an acceptable answer.
In 1441 the men returned with the wounded, dead and dying. Bjørn amongst them. Into their hut he was brought for her to care for until he would travel into the world of Valhalla. A strong Viking woman would not cry for her dying husband. It was the last thing he needed. The wailing of his woman as he died. Frida tended to his wounds as he lay dying. They had given him a week at most. The true warrior he was, he wished to live as long as he could to spend time with his wife and child instead of allowing someone to end his life. Each day she gave him her blood at it only lasted until the next moon rose. With only one drop, he healed slightly each day. Not enough to save his life.
As her and his family and family came to check on him, they began to believe it was possible was going to make it as he was strong. As long as he was well cared for. Gerda was being taken care of by her family and saw her father from time to time.  In the daylight as she slept, the hearing she had been gifted with, the wheezing had begun. She knew the end was coming. After a fortnight of tending to the love of her life, to ensure he would return as she did, she fed him one last time. One day later he passed over to Valhalla. Though she told no one. Exiting their hut she informed everyone he was greatly improving and should be on his feet anytime now. People rejoiced as they planned a supper celebration in honor of Bjørn living through such a dire wound. Even the Danes could not kill their greatest warrior.
That eve, she had left and found a Dane camp, drained a few dry for herself as well as for her husband. Placing his blood into some crockery.
When he awoke to see his wife, her angelic face, his head shook back and forth. “You are not in Valhalla. Unless you have perished.” Placing her hand upon his chest. “Neither of us are in Valhalla. We are indeed alive, my love. I have saved you.” Confused as he was he was determined he had entered the gates of Valhalla now he was home with Frida. It took a long time for her to explain what they were and now the rules of which he must now abide.  Not believing her, he attempted to leave their hut in the early morn and his skin began to burn. Immediately returning, Bjørn had accused her of being a witch and condemning him to a life of immortal death with her. Yet now he could no longer fight in the daylight. His hatred grew for her.
Their strategies of war changed. They began attacking at night at random interval so it was unexpected. Though he would still bring his wife blood. It was only out of obligation as the man of the family. One year later in 1442, Bjørn could take no more and turned his wife away from the village. Telling the others that she had been found in the Dane’s camp one evening possibly as a spy. Begging for her life to be spared as he still loved her, they had a child together. Her father reluctantly agreed and abjured Frida Iverson from their clan. Unable to say goodbye to Gerda, she left with the clothes on her back.
Watching them closely as she could not bear leaving her clan. Her family was within reach. Their daughter. How could she leave her? Watching as she grieved her mother’s disappearance from her life. There were women who attempted to court her husband. It was allowed now since she had been turned away for being a spy. Yet he turned them all away. It was seen as he still loved his wife. However she knew the truth. It was because he was a vampire. Later that year he’d found her hiding watching them and advised her why did what he did. His hatred had become too much. Gerda was still grieving, however she was doing well. Crying as she knew daylight was coming, Frida went to her cave to retire for the day. It was then, Bjørn knew where she lay. He visited her from time to time to relay information on their daughter. Over time they became husband and wife once more. Their love bloomed again.
In late 1446 Bjørn, during a battle with the Danes, faked his death. His body was never returned. As though they took it and desecrated it. He went on his own way, leaving his wife and child to find his own way in this life. However Frida could not leave their daughter. Continuing to watch her grow, she ached for her. Her dead heart broke each time she saw her. She was growing to be a fine young woman even if she had no mother or father to guide her in this world.
Upon the turn of the summer of 1461, nearing the day of her daughter’s birth, Frida snuck into the camp, called out her name quietly enough so that her daughter would hear it. When she exited, Frida revealed herself, Gerda’s bright smile. Just as she recalled it plastered upon her face as she grabbed her about the neck. “Mother! You are here! Where have you been? You shouldn’t be here. Father is dead. You look the same… How?” Hushing her daughter, Frida took her to her cavern to explain everything. Including the information about her father.
It was then she found Gerda wished to be with her mother. “What of your intended, my beautiful daughter?” Frida stroked the young woman’s cheek. “I hate him, Mother. Grandfather is forcing me to wed him next month. Neither of us want this. Please make me what you and Father are.” Frida sighed. “You don’t understand, Gerda. You will never grow old, you will be immortal, and you must live in the dark with the stars and moon. The sun is no longer available to you. It’s a price you must pay. It’s a heavy price.” A hug to her mother. “If I can live with you and make up the time and possibly Father, I ache for that in my heart.”
Her teeth ripping a deep gash into her arm, the elder vampire held out her arm. “Quickly drink from it before it closes.” Almost immediately her daughter was on her arm. Shoving her off, she nodded. “That’s enough. Now come with me.” They entered the cave once more. Moving behind her daughter, she broke her neck awaiting for her awaken. In the process, she did the same thing, she went off and to gather the blood in the same matter as she did for her husband.
It wasn’t long before Gerda awoke with that same thirst for blood. Feeding her, once again Frida explained the rules of becoming a vampire. Yet the teen had to test it, just as her father once did. Sticking her arm out, she was burned immediately. A small laugh. “Your father did the same thing.”
As a few years went on they fended for themselves, in 1463 Rory found them. He explained to them they could never own property for they were dead. Nor could they enter a human’s home. It made sense now as to why they couldn’t do such a thing. As the pair had attempted time and again to seek shelter. He’d also shown them both the art of compulsion. It aided them in feeding off of people without draining of them of all of their blood, living off of them, slowly siphoning their money from them.
Her hatred for the man who sired her grew deeper as he only provided her with knowledge in bits and pieces. Throughout the ages the world changed around them. Yet Frida did not. The 5’11” in shape Viking kept to her ways. Continuing to wear animal pelts as her coats and her mannerisms remained the same. A true Viking at heart, she would never change. During their time traveling throughout Europe they did as Rory said. Collected wealth from the rich, fed from them, lived with them, became part of their families and eventually moved on. For balls and proper dinners, they dressed appropriately.
 The New World
In the year 1800 she and Gerda sailed to the New World to set down roots as many people did.  Their wealth and possessions allowed them good fortune to live where they desired. No more were they going to live in small huts or caves. They had tasted the wealth of society and that was what they continued to long for. Knowing they could never own property, whilst they were in Europe they had met and obtained the service of a human from France. A wonderful woman by the name of Antoinette. The human was intrigued by what Frida and Gerda were.  She was more than happy to own the property on paper Frida was having built so they would be able to reside in the property.
On property in known as a colony known as Virginia, they had a large home built. Larger than the three of them needed. Antoinette was not to open the door for anyone as time went on. She could be compelled by other vampires. This was not something they could not risk. Especially with her sire still out there. Their relationship had become quite tumultuous. The more often he approached them, the anger set in and she turned him away. Gerda felt the same. She saw it as that Rory had torn her family apart. If it had not been for him, they would all be in Valhalla now. Instead she and her mother were roaming the Earth in the hopes to find her father.
Upon acquiring the knowledge of humans unable to be compelled if they either wore or ingested vervain, Antoinette began drinking it with her tea.  To be sure any vampire was unable to remove a vervain piece of jewelry and able to compel her. Antoinette served as their employee. As time continued on and the human was courted, wed, and had children it was agreed upon that the estate would pass on to their children as time went on as long as they were well taken care of.
In 1860 the town of Mystic Falls was forming Frida had heard of a rumor that the founding fathers would be tested to see if they were indeed vampires. Over time, she and Gerda began ingesting it everyday in order to pass this test. It was not easy at first but they became used to the mixture. The Iverson family was one of the founding members of this town. Contributing to its future. As it formed with witches, vampires and werewolves, it became known that the witches were able to cast spells upon jewelry so vampires could walk in the daylight. It was well known the species hated one another, however Frida and Gerda left them alone as they wished no one harm. Except those they lived off of, or fed from. Strangers in town. They meant little to them. Upon her finger Frida still wore her ring in which Bjørn had given to her over four hundred years prior. It still meant everything to her. The witches used their magic to create a day ring for Frida and yet another for Gerda. A ring her mother had given to her in the Seventeen hundreds.
They were now allowed to walk in the daylight. During the next almost 200 years they had “died,” left the country for some time, returned, “died” yet again, leaving to visit the rest of the world. Though they kept in constant touch with the current owners and employees of their home. Having a fallout as Gerda wished to continue searching for her father, they parted ways. It has been 70 years since she has been home. Her new servant is Antoine.
