In fairness, Mystic Falls wasn't a town that she would normally have visited but it was somewhere out of the and mostly quiet. If you ignored the supernatural happenings that was. "Blame Dai..."

  "I'm goin' ta throw him out of a window when I next see 'im." The fiery natured Southerner scowled as he lifted the last of the boxes from his truck and took them inside. Saeradan, or Dan for short, wasn't kidding either but that was how the relationship between him and Candaith worked.

  Hal looked amused, too used to the antics of her supernatural best friends. "He thought you'd.. say that, hence.. why he didn't.. come with us..." Her lips quirked up into a half smile at the grey eyed vampire's grumbling in his native language. But her thoughts soon switched to the meeting they were heading to at the Mikaelson house.

  She was meant to be meeting with Elijah, just to avoid any issues arising with future visits from her two closest friends. The quiet 25 year old veteran had planned to knock but then the truck's engine coughed, spluttered loudly and promptly died. She got out and leant against the truck, thankful that fire wasn't present.

  "At least I.. don't need to.. knock now... That would've.. woken the dead... Let alone those.. with supernatural hearing..." The sarcastic words earned her the Finger, a universal sign recognised everywhere, and she snorted. Tension in her shoulders faded a bit as she kept one eye on the front door and the other on her friend, not wanting to get caught off guard by anyone.

Houses; bluebeebalm This is aaaaalllllllllll porn with some plot. Like, it goes from 0 to 100 in 0.5. It's a modern AU with AAstarion, so keep that in mind. I'm still anxious about the third installment, Courthouse, cause I DON'T KNOW WHEN I GOT ON A ROLLERCOASTER BUT SUDDEN I DID. But also bluebeebalm has GOOD BLOODWEAVE FICS.

Seen; ayvaines This is a Modern AU where Astarion is engaged to Cazador (cringe). It's VERY HEAVY ABUSE. Like, I had to pause some times to take a breath cause unlike APS (which I absorbed), Seen is a monster that actually exists. But it is. So. Cute. And sweet. Also I want Gale as a DM. Oh! Yeah! The Mystic and Sanguine; Pandoras_Trove A superhero AU. It's very straightforward but there is MYSTERY and I need MORE. Pandoras_Trove also has great work. 100/100 recommend them.

The Season; Linnetagain THIS FIC IS A VERY, VERY, VERY, V E R Y SLOW BURN. Have dental insurance. It's sweet as fuck. Gale's a famous musician and Astarion's an Olympic figure skater. plot one: muse a, a resourceful petty thief, has just been released after a four year prison sentence for the murder of their partner, which they did not commit. just before they were killed, muse a's partner revealed to them the location of a safety deposit box, containing evidence of corruption carried out by a wealthy businessman whose goons then committed the real murder before framing muse a. muse b unknowingly works for the corrupt businessman and is engaged to his heir with a wedding rapidly approaching. now, they are tasked with ensuring that muse a leaves town now that they're out of prison. muse a begs muse b to help clear their name of murder accusations and get to the safety deposit box, something muse b reluctantly agrees to even though they are in the midst of a wedding rush among other errands set upon them by their underhanded boss. muse a and muse b begin falling for each other, complicating things even further, while neither of them yet realize their ties to the same man. (inspired by the 1987 film 'who's that girl'. i can explain this better if need be! i tried to condense it as much as possible.)

plot two: muse a and muse b have been together for four long years, and just as they thought things were progressing to the next level, a huge fight ends their relationship. the only problem is that they're both on pretty tight budgets, so neither of them can afford to move out of the apartment they share together right now. an awkward bridge forms between them as the forced time together makes them start reminiscing about the good times and whether they really want to throw it all away.

Transformers: Tarot Readings (CLOSED)

A cool breeze sweeps past you, picking up fall leaves and taking them on a merry dance across the sidewalk before you. Festive lights are strung across the streets like a twinkling spiderweb draped across this unusual city.

You live in one of the only cities on earth where transformers and humans of all factions live in harmony. Chattering fills the streets as everyone admires the jack o lanterns, skeletons, and monster holograms that decorate the neighborhood. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful, transformers and humans alike enjoying the festive atmosphere as they head out to enjoy the celebrations.

A flickering blue light catches your eye as you walk past a dim alleyway. Curious, you step into the shadows to find a colorful shop of mystics and magics.

You walk inside to find the interior lit with wispy blue balls of light floating across the ceiling. Multi-tiered tables line the shop walls for easy access to both transformers and humans. Crystals and herbs from Earth and beyond are scattered across the surfaces, along with books, trinkets, and every other mystical tool one interested in the magical arts would need.

A bell sits on the counter with a sign that reads, ‘RING BELL FOR FREE TAROT READINGS’

Liz takes a microphone, raps sharply on it a few times until everyone’s looking.  “Good evening everyone.  We know you all have many questions, as we do, and are here tonight looking for answers.  Chief Kenner and I are here to tell you what we can, and then we’ll open the floor.”

She clears her throat.  “Two days ago, an event occurred in Mystic Falls that precipitated all of this.  For the sake of privacy, to ensure that the people involved aren’t harassed or asked things they can’t answer, we’re not going to discuss what that event was.  Suffice it to say that Doctor Saltzman of the Salvatore School assures us that the event cannot be undone, and therefore that its consequences also stand little chance of being reversed.

Now, this is obviously an unusual and unprecedented situation for all of us. To wit, Mystic Falls now exists within the larger borders of New Orleans.  People from 2011, and people from 2060, have found themselves here in 2029.  Myself included.  This leaves us in a unique position, but we assure you that both of our cities are instituting emergency plans to handle it as best we’re able.

Effective immediately, both New Orleans and Mystic Falls are launching a joint bureau of housing.  This department is going to assign empty residences in both cities to those of you who have come from other points in the timeline, to be sure that you are not left without a place to live.  Additionally, we’ll be opening what’s tentatively being called the bureau of the missing; if there are relatives or friends you expected to be here who aren’t, who you think might have made the journey forward or back, please sign up at this office and let us know who we should be looking out for.  Less urgently for all of you but vitally for the future, we’re also merging our departments of public works, to ensure that this combination of cities hasn’t damaged our ability to deliver power, water and heat to our residents, and to ensure that any roads haven’t been damaged beyond repair or now suddenly lead to dead ends because of the merge.

All of these departments will urgently need employees, and we urge any of you who are willing to sign up.  Those of you whose IDs are from the past or future, or who arrived in this timeline without identification, simply present yourself at either the Mystic Falls Sheriff’s Station or any precinct of the New Orleans PD, and we’ll issue you with something current that will allow you to live and work in the present day.  Sometime in the near future, we’re also hoping to open another department that will interview those from the future and gather your stories for our records, but that will be announced at a later date.

I know this doesn’t answer all of your questions - the honest truth is, we can’t answer all of your questions, as our own staffs are still searching for more answers.  But we’ll open the floor here, and answer anything we can.  Please be patient, and allow one of my deputies to reach you with a microphone rather than shouting out questions.  Thank you.”
