Tonight's Meeting

Hello all, hope to see you at this week's meeting. This monday we will be meeting in the 2nd floor of McGinley in the commons. When you go up the stairs go left, and keep going past the music room and you will see us at the end of a small hallway.  Today we will be talking about the haunted history of Rose Hill and several chilling stories, accounts, and legends that surround this famously haunted university.  We will also hold elections today for the secretary position so if you are thinking of applying please come prepared to tell us why you would be a good candidate!  Also bring money if you want to order a club shirt! Just 15 dollars! See you all there

First Meeting!

Next Monday, September 10th at 6:30pm in the Jogues 1st floor lounge we kick off this year with our first general meeting of the semester. In this meeting we will introduce ourselves, who we are, what we do, and what you can expect this year as well contemplate the role of the 'paranormal" in modern culture. We will also de-brief you guys on our first investigation of the year and take sign ups, so if you want first dibs, be there!  Also, bring cash if you are planning on purchasing one of our awesome shirts! Bring 10-20 dollars as prices may vary. Also, single 

bills will be appreciated as we will be selling raffle tickets to auction off awesome prizes such as a chance to do an investigation of the underground tunnels, or to have first dibs on any investigation you want.  There will be some form of food/refreshments served but we like to be mysterious so we won't say what it is.  We also have an opening on the e-board for Secretary, so if anyone is interested in being considered for the position, please let us know then. To those of you who don't know where the Jogues 1st floor lounge is, it's right across from the church and Collins auditorium. We will have the lounge door open so signing in to the building will not be necessary.  Hope to see you all there.

Hey! My name is Gabriella and I'm a junior at the LC campus. This sounds like an awesome club and I'd love to join - could you tell me more about what goes on at the meetings?

Sure! We meet once a week, Mondays at 6:30 in McGinley Center although the exact room is yet to be determined. Every week we have a new topic  that can be anything having to do with the paranormal or "unexplained" such as UFOs, zombies, ghosts, physic phenomena, etc. We have a presentation about that subject made by a member(s) of the eboard, but if you feel very passionately about a subject you may make a presentation yourself. After the presentation we have a discussion, or maybe do a small experiment, and talk about what we want to see in the next meeting. This year we will also be going on several ghost hunting excursions in and around the NY area. If you aren't a member of the eboard, we will be having raffles to determine who gets to come along on the hunt.

Club meeting times!

The meeting times for the semester have just been officially decided. You guys voted, and the results are in. We will meet every Monday at 6:30pm this semester. The location is not finalized, but it will probably be in one of the common rooms in the second floor of McGinley. Be on the lookout for official location updates though. Due to labor day, we will not meet tomorrow, but we will kick of the semester on Monday, September 10th. You will get an e-mail with finalized details later this week.
