Who is winning on Instagram?

American Airlines. While both United and Delta have an active account, theirs is not nearly as active and therefore not giving them the user interaction they potentially hoped for. In some instances, American would upload twice as many posts to Instagram than the other two majors. This leaves more content for the customer and beats United by about twice as many posts and about 300 more than Delta at 912 total posts.

In terms of content posted: All airlines look like they are taking almost the same approach when it comes to their posts. However, American still leads the pack by getting the most interaction. As for United, it looks like a plane spotter took over their social media account about 30 weeks ago. Both Delta and American post a mix between the aircraft they fly along with philanthropic events and company culture insight. Now financially speaking... Well that is a discussion for another weeks. The Future

Starting either this week or next week, I will begin to transition my blog from just photos to news and financials, along with other industry trends.
