Another sketchbook finished! I don’t remember the brand of this one, but iirc it’s made from bamboo fiber? Anyways, it was REALLY great to work with, worked fantastic with watercolour (the mermay and AprilHomeMagic works are also from this sketchbook) and ink, and tbh, I pushed this sketchbook to quite extreme limits, using various materials like beetroot and pumpkin seed oil to get weird effects, holding it into a river,... So it definitely deserves to rest now!

M E T A N O I A is a animated mixed-media short film, telling a symbolic story about the inner processes of dealing with a paralyzing bitterness.
I'm finally retiring my first notebook (turned sketchbook halfway through) after many years of carrying it around with me, hoping to fill the remaining blank pages, all the while already using many other sketch- and notebooks.
It's from teNeues and has been through a lot, so it deserves to rest.
