Kid me used to love making Fnaf theories so now that I’m back in the fandom, here’s one my friend and I worked on!

SPOILER WARNING AHEAD

Ok so I’ve seen this theory popping around TikTok but no one ever gives any depth so here I am, giving depth

The theory I’m talking about is “Gregory is Michael Afton’s son”

Gregory looks suspiciously like crying child who was Micheal’s brother

And we know Gregory’s an orphan from one of the “leave” endings

Now my friend said this theory doesn’t really make sense since the Aftons existed in the 1980s while Security Breach takes place in the future

So I applied the one factor I rarely apply to any of my theories;

Math

In Fnaf 4, Michael looks around 17, making his birth year 1970 in order for it to match up with the bite of 1987

Now Michael could’ve still been a teenager, either 18 or 19, when he worked at Sister Location since it takes in the 80s

Michael had to have been an adult in Fnaf 3 since that takes place 30 years after the bite and killings so around 2017

While we don’t know exactly how much time passed between Fnaf 3 and Pizzeria Simulator but it was enough for Michael to get with someone to conceive Gregory before he died

Security Breach is said to take place sometime in the 2020s which matches up to make Gregory 8-12 like I speculate

This also works with the theory that Glamrock Freddy is possessed by Michael, considering how he has a strong urge to protect him and acts fatherly towards him

Now there are a few holes in this, but when isn’t there when it comes to Fnaf?

Like; What happened to Gregory’s mom? Who was she? Did Michael die before or after Gregory was born? Did Gregory even know his parents? Among other things

As all my theories, I will die with this until some new information comes out and disproves me

Can I just say that I’m a little disappointed that FNAF went with more plasticy looking animatronics in Sister Location

Then kept that going with Security Breach,

and never explored the reasons people find them creepy in real life

With the rubbery faces, somewhat dead eyes, and uncomfortable unnatural jolty movements

This isn’t to say I don’t like the newer games, I actually enjoy them a lot, I just think it would’ve been interesting if they’d explored this path to make them more disturbing

Okay, I know that Sundrop sounds kinda like Funtime/Molten Freddy because they have the same voice actor, so that's explainable in a meta sense, but what if

What if?

What IF?

What if Fazbear Entertainment cut corners again and just salvaged Funtime Freddy's voice box for Sundrop/Moondrop, and that's part of why Afton's virus was able to spread to him so easily?

Fazbear Entertainment already has shown in previous entries that they'll just reruse components and assets and circuit boards as if they completely forgot that those items are directly responsible for the last disaster, so what if they got lazy again and just salvaged what they could from the last establishment (I think it was confirmed to be the Pizzeria Simulator location, didn't they just straight up build the mall on top of it..?), and the 7th Gen Animatronics have pieces of thier predecessors?

I mean

Think about it

You got a set of animatronics that function as two separate entities at the same time.

What if Sundrop inherited bits of Funtime Freddy, and Moondrop has some of Bon-Bon's programming?

Remember how Bon-Bon would keep trying to get Funtime Freddy to "go back to sleep"?

Remember how Funtime Freddy treats the encounter with him like a game of hide-and-seek?

Fazbear Entertainment will cut corners to save time and money. They've reused parts as far back as the 80s, even.

But that's just a theory

but um yeah, glamrock being programmed to protect while funtime is programmed to kill and they just. assume the other is programmed the same way so theyre SO confused when theyre proven wrong smh. very surprised when they find out the truth.

From then on they become enemies.
