Been thinking of a metroid prime type game for some time now. No idea what I want it to look lile, but here's what I drew with it in mind.

So I'm trying to get myself to draw more loose and quickly so I can just get stuff out. Too much polish really dulls things, and the longer I spend on it the less life there is. I wanna be able to finish something at least once every couple of days, so I got some time/energy management to work on to compensate for the insane work/life imbalance.

When I move to night shifts at the end of the month there won't be any managers to see me bring my iPad >:)

A fun little mixed medium thing I did here, this was originally on paper and colored digitally. I think this is the most satisfying way to do art tbh, and I love the texture it brings.

I briefly worked at an arcade owned by a friend, and loved the idea of a space theme, so I made this alien fella as a mascot. It's since closed down and we've gone our separate ways, but I still think fondly of the early days when we'd plan to make our own games for the arcade.

An oldie but a goodie

Eh screw it, I'll post some of my past stuff. Here's a drawing from around Oct-Dec 2019 or so. My pc wasn't working and I didn't have an ipad yet so I colored on my phone. Still pretty proud of it!

Not sure how much older art I wanna share here. I wanna think of this page as a kind of refresh for me, like a new start. I finally have a focus and a clear goal, a story I want to write and draw for people to see.

Anyway, this is Spoon, a character I doodled a couple of years ago and have finally found a purpose for a few months ago.

He used to work at a lab, but ended up dying and his spirit was trapped in this experimental black substance. His exoskeleton is made up of just about anything lying around, as long as it keeps the goo contained. His left arm is equipped with a CRT that acts as a spirit box, and his red eye can see the world of the dead, provided he consumes a potent enough spirit. That's all you get for now :)
