(tho I draw Nightmare a little differently now (just- one of my very first art of corrupted Nightmare is this ref so yeaaah(I think I evolved in drawing him)

the thing I didn't really like in her og design is literally everyting I'msorry ........

For me she looked like a little sweet innocent girl and not the goddes that she is :/

I tryed to show more of her personality and dryad's features in redesign

(and I really like the result)

Facts about design itself

-through all of it I was trying to combine cold and warm colors. Her bark is actually really gray purple and leafes are warm yellow-green. The meaning behind that is balance between positive and negarive emotions as she's guardian of both of that

- ALSO I took a lot of from Tree of feelings :3 like the shape of the leafes !!

- She doesn't wear "real" clothes bc she's unbothered with it

she's a tree :(

- Nim doesn't have eyebrows

CORRUPT

A snake and an apple combined in one

- its mouth on its "back"

NIGHTMARE

this one is fun

I know Nightmare had a reason for his outfit being a copy of classic Sans but still it didn't seems right to me

Idk I had the feeling that Dream and Nightmare came from different aus when it's not true

So I fixed it ✍️

Facts about design

- his broken crown is actually the one that belonged to past-Nightmare

- his half moon brooch is a reflection of sun brooch that Dream has

- his top half is heavily inspired by past-Nightmare design

- and his black turtleneck the stuff he took from Dream's current design

- yes he's wearing shoulder pads
