Not quite BLIND per-se. He doesn't see well in light, since he's suited for nighttime shenanigans, but he can still see.

The red pupils were more of a style choice than anything lore-specific.

Short answer: genetics! Vampirism runs in the family, and only Sunny was born with it out of the two of them.

Same reason why Hero is the only wendigo of the family. Monstering is genetic!

If the Hooligans were also monsters, what kind of monsters would each of them be?

I've actually already thought of this! I concepted them when I was rambling to my buddies about the Monster Headspace idea.

Berly is a weredragon, Van is a bugbear, Mikal is a tanuki, Sharleen is a minotaur, and Neb is a seraphim. I know they aren't exactly the real world hooligans, but that's what they'd be! At least they'd be something similar.
