MY SISTER IS HUNGRY (HELP NEEDED)

My sister has lost 5 kilos in just one month, even though she’s the one we feed in priority. She’s only 4, she’s supposed to be growing instead of shrinking. Hunger dominates every aspect of her life and night time is the worst, that’s when she cries and cries because she wants bread, pizza, fruits, candies, and we have none of it.

Can you imagine a life where you have to ask strangers for money, and they kindly give you $400, but when converted to cash you only get $200, and all you can buy with that is a single kilo of flour to feed a family of 10? That’s our reality, sadly. It’s unbearable.

Please be the kind stranger, however you can, even if it’s just giving $5, even if it’s just sharing. I promise everything helps, and nothing will hurt except ignoring our calls for help 🙏

It is very difficult for me to balance my feelings for losing my brother and remembering how Israel killed him and he kept bleeding until he died in my arms and my feelings of fear for following the condition of my injured father and my sister and younger brothers. I look at them and pray that they do not die as well, but the situation is difficult here...

The doctors told me that my sister’s leg from the entire thigh area is at risk of amputation !! Please all of you, I am very tired. Please help me to collect the costs of my family’s treatment

At just 4 years old, my sister doesn’t understand the difficulty of the situation. When she’s hungry, why can’t we give her food? When it’s too hot or too cold, why can’t we put glass on the window? When she’s sick, why can’t we take her to the doctor? When she’s scared, why can’t we stop the bombs from falling? She doesn’t understand. Adults are supposed to solve everything.

Even I, as an adult, have a hard time wrapping my mind around a kilo of flour reaching $200, cash converters taking a 50% commission and a destroyed, unlivable room costing $1,300 every month. I can’t understand how no one has stopped this for two whole years. So what do we tell her? What do we tell the little ones?

Please help me give her a life she can understand. I promise anything helps, even if you can only donate $5, and even if you can’t afford that, even if you can only share. Anything at all, please, we just ask that you don’t ignore us as we call for help 🙏

The protesters criticised the president for hosting the Russian president, who has been indicted for war crimes.

Draped in Ukrainian flags and holding aloft signs that labelled the Russian president a war criminal, the crowd demanded Volodymyr Zelensky be included in peace talks.

European leaders fear that Mr Trump and his Russian counterpart could negotiate an end to the three-year conflict over the Ukrainian president’s head, who has been sidelined from discussions.
