One of my favorite thing I’ve learned about animals studies is that you should avoid using colorful leg bands when you’re banding birds because you can accidentally completely skew the data because female birds prefer males with colorful bands

Apparently if you put a red band on a male red wing blackbird his harem size can double

So like you can completely frick up the natural reproduction of a group of birds by giving a guy a bracelet so stylish that females CANNOT resist him

I saw that reference image and IMMEDIATELY knew what I had to do with it. I’ve been working on this for an AGE and I know the og image says Super Mario Land but I figured it was a good time to shout out my favourite GBA game of all time, 🦆Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap🦆. I first played it multiple times to completion on the PSP and then later on a GBA emulator on my pc after our PSP died on us. I still love it to bits to this day 💖

Also you can see how I figured I liked the image more when it was flipped and then had to flip Kakashi’s hair and scar to be accurate. Also drew myself a little Kakashi face ✨as a treat✨ before I covered it with the mask

Thinking about Kakashi who gets deaged, and his bratty younger self is placed in Iruka’s care. Iruka is all of the best parts of his favorite people mixed together; Kushina’s laugh and Minato’s smile, Rin’s kindness and Obito’s stubbornness, Gai’s exuberance and so gentle like his father used to be.

Kid Kakashi promising that when he grows up he’s going to marry Iruka.

Once the jutsu has been reversed or whatever, Kakashi shows up at Iruka’s apartment with ramen and a ring. After all, he did promise.

Also thinking about the reverse, but deaged Iruka would hate adult Kakashi so much. Stupid adult with his stupid books and seeing through all his traps!

None of yall are the fic police. I DESPISE genai. I think its an insult to art, humanity, and the planet itself. But aint not a single fucking person here qualified to pick apart a strangers fic looking for a gotcha moment to make yourselves feel superior. If you think something is ai you can ask the author (most are proud of the ai use and will just tell you straight up) if they say yes you have your answer and can warn people. If they say no and you dont believe them you block and quietly keep it between you and maybe a close group of friends. Spreading misinformation is DANGEROUS. And NONE of you doing this shit are anywhere near qualified to do it.

One big thing giving me hope right now is how many people are switching from major brands. It’s damn near impossible to escape the evil oligarchy. It’s so much work! We’re all exhausted and way over capacity so it takes a lot to make people seek out inconvenient alternatives to Amazon, Spotify, Etsy, Target, Harry Potter, etc.

This year however, people have finally Had It. Every day I hear more people switching up their habits and suggesting alternatives. It’s galvanizing to see industry titans take huge hits to their profits.

I’m living for this momentum.
