just. sorry i'm not going to shut up. sometimes big numbers are hard to put into perspective but you have to understand. 400k is, for many charities - including this one in fact - a MASSIVE portion of their usual operating budget. like the number i heard for this charity is that they normally get 2.5 million in a year. 400k is a full sixth of that. the amount of impact that makes is HUGE. they have 21 hospitals listed on their website waiting list. this is enough to get each of them four carts at least. like. i just need to put into perspective that this is an insane amount of money and that the community has done a very big good thing
