I feel like I need to give Andras friends to play with? Like there’s nyx but I think I should make more characters for that? Just to play with how Andras would interact with other people who arnt his parents. I feel like being friends with only nyx would be complicated(but I do think that if their kids were friends it would kinda force them to work atleast a good bit of shit out) but like I want Andras to have more than one friend, I want him to have a friend from autumn, (Erin daughter? Idk he gives off single girl dad energy) I want him to have a friend from the dawn court and maybe even an Illyrian from Illyria?

Like maybe the friend from the dawn court is Theasan and his generals adopted child, an orphaned peregrine or something so nyx has people to fly with. (An i like bird people don’t judge me?)

Maybe eris is a single father to his daughter alone and she’s really scary and has trouble controlling her power so she keeps close to her father.

I’m cooking things up.

After Tamlin and the spring court did the deed the wards became VERY strong so everyone outside of it got kicked out aside from tarquin (for some reason, it suspected the spring and summer courts are besties) so Lucien couldn’t actually see Tamlin until after Andras was born and was very upset.

Andras calls the spring court DeDe because most of the time it appears as a deer.

When Andras gets a bit bigger he starts running off alone and Tamlin would just find him sleeping on the steps of the manor, eventually he realizes that Andra’s was actually spending the day with his DeDe and that the spirit was actually bringing him home after Andra’s fell asleep in the forest.

I don’t have a full understanding of when exactly Andra’s was born in the Acotar timeline but I like to think. It was around the same time Nyx was born because he needs friends.

Because no one outside the spring court but tarquin no one knew Tamlin was pregnant because Tarquin didn’t feel comfortable telling them on Tamlin behalf because Tamlin never said he could, in comparison when tarquin did tell them. What happened they didn’t believe him because ‘because what do you mean tamlins on maternity leave?’

The day Andras was born flowers bloomed through out the courts including winter and Khalius was freaking the fuck out before he learned about Andras.

Andras can hear all the trees talking the tree next to his nursery was telling him scary stories, tamlins had the nursery moved after he remembered that the tree also told him scary stories when he was little.

Tamlin and tarquin calls Andras ‘sapling’ and ‘fawn’ as nicknames.

Tarquin can’t officially live in spring with tamlin and Andras because he has to rule summer but comes to see them almost everyday when he can and he brings andras shells and coral and sometimes summer foods and desserts, just things from summer.

The spring court does of other children, unicorns, it makes them a-sexually and unicorns are like the pinnacle of childhood innocence, they only appear willingly in front of others with good intentions, they get along really well and it’s not just because Andra’s can scratch hard to reach places.

When Andra’s gets a bit older tarquin actually takes him to summer during the day while Tamlin rules over spring and Andra’s made friends with a Nokk when tarquin wasn’t looking.

Lucien is in charge of Andras’s hair because while Tamlin has long hair he has never done anything with it, infuriatingly Tamlin hair is always perfectly combed even if he hasn’t touched it in weeks. Andras has inherited this.

Andras seems to have inherited ALL of tamlins powers even at his young age and for a while he was accidentally changing people’s bodies, luckily Tamlin was their too fix it, but once he did make helion a woman and helion wouldn’t let Tamlin fix it for a week because’he had some thing he wanted to try out first and would let Tamlin know when he needed him’ Andra’s grew out off/learned to control it but Tamlin thought he was in hot water for a bit.

I don’t think Tamlin would only have one kid, I think he’d wait until Andra’s was older but eventually him and tarquin do start trying for another.

One of my favorite things about my baby Andras/tamlin Mpreg AU is how the other highlords find out that tarquin and tamtam are together.

Let me set the scene, it’s a highlords meeting Eric’s is a highlord because beron is yucky, helicon and Eric’s are arguing/bonding loudly about how shitty a person beron is, mor is trying to start a fight with Eric’s about the unresolved woods incident, rhyss and feyre are being,… their horny selves… they seem to have given up on hiding their facial expressions while making horny mind talk.

Theasan, khalius and tarquin are off in the corner, Tamlin is at home heavily pregnant and or with a newborn Andras and midwife Lucien.

“See, this is why we don’t get involved with other courts, things get...” Khalius starts to say staring off at feyre and rhysands weird body language. “Messy…”

Tarquin starts to sweat. “Yeah, mhm, that’s right.

Theasan and Kallie’s probably give him the nastiest side eye and he cracks like an egg on concrete, because he’s actually head over heels and wants to tell everyone about how much he loves Tamlin and this baby that technically isn’t his but it is basically his because he already loves it so much.

The whole meeting turns into tarquin gushing about how much he loves Tamlin while Rhys seethes that Tamlin managed to find an ounce of happiness.

Helicon takes notes for the next erotic book he writes with LOA under their shared penn name, (I don’t remember the author of nestas dirty books)

Does anyone else wonder what's going to happen to feyres powers if a new highlord takes power? Like if beron dies does the sprinkle of magic also go with it?

But like think about the conflict that could bring to a story? If lucien took the throne of day and suddenly feyre couldn't use helions power because (presumably) he's dead, the power he gave her is gone too. And it's not like lucien or any other highlord is obligated to give her another kernel of magic, (assuming that kurnel dissolving away doesn't put her back in the risk of dying or makes her mortal again.)

But Rhys and the Ic would be passed about it, especially if it was tamlins shape shifting which we know Rhys is fond of.

ESPECIALLY if the power just hops bloodlines to a different family that doesn't owe rhys or the inner circle favors.

If anyone still cares… this. Is Andras in a more final design, his favorite flowers are dandelions in their fluffy state,(Tamlin doesn’t have the heart to tell him their weeds). All the other highlord think he’s tarquin biological baby because of the white hair but he’s just the dad who stepped up. (Surprisingly a the court spirit who knocked Tamlin up is a very active father considering he’s a deer most of the time.)

Tamlin and potential tamlin baby?

I just think tamlin would be a good dad once he gets some thearapy in him.

And if the baby was named after andras that would be perfect and if he happens to look a little bit like tarquin it's a coincidence.

Or it isn't and I wrote a tamlin mpreg fic were tamlin gets pregnant by the spirit of spring personified so he can save his dying magic and works through his trauma and exepts responsibility for the wrong he's done in an effort to be the father his son deserves all the while falling in love with tarquin who has been the only high lord willing to help him rebuild his court....

So basically I wrote a fanfic called waterlillys and lotus blooms that takes place along side nesta x eris fic I'm also writing...

I like how all of th inner circle say that nesta has an alcohol addiction (which she does let's not get it wrong.) But then proceeded to not limit their alcohol intake around her. Cassian and azriel literally drink infront of her at the house of wind, you know the place they sent her to rehab. Because God forbid cassian and azriel have dinner without wine whine they deal with nesta as she is having withdrawal from alcohol.

Because what the actual fuck do I do with that?

Live knowing that tamlin has lost something precious to him because he trusted and loved someone enough to give it them and they destroyed it carelessly?

Know that if tamlin ever finds love again he can't give that same token of love and trust to them?

Know that even if they managed to construct the remains of that ring into something new it would never be the same...?

I’d like to add my own Tamlin sleeping Beaty AU art to the recent stew.

I’m just saying that people are overlooking the potential of a Tamlin sleeping Beaty Au, the spring court in cased in vines while it’s highlord is asleep in a cursed slumber waiting for his mate to come and claim him. (This is specifically for nyxlin but it could work for like any ship, I only say nyxlin because then Tamlin isn’t just his moms ex who was there to hear about him growing up from Lucien, that’s like the one thing about the ship that is me out about it.)

But think about Tamlin falling into a century’s long sleep the day nyx is born, maybe the curse includes everyone forgetting Tamlin atleast partially, but then nyx turns one hundred and is suddenly dragged away from his big birthday bash to the spring court guarded by a wall of newly bloomed rose bushes. He stumbles accross tamlins Mannor and finds Tamlin.

Okay so feyres dresses....

This might be nit picky but like do you think it's bad that she wears the same clothes over and over again? Like for the economy?

Because we know in spring that she never wore the same dress twice do you think that was because tamlin was trying to rebuild the economy in spring? Like imagine how much money you have to pay to get a high quality dress for a high lady? You've got the seamstress, the people you make the fabric the farmers with the animals who grow the fibers, the people who make the dye the people who grow food to feed the animals and the people. (I know very little about the economy or about what goes into making clothes but bare with me)

But also just to support individual seamstresses? There was like a princess or something in Europe and everything she wears gets sold out in like a day becouse her parents name drop the brands.

Why can't feyre do that? Yeah it's vein to wear a different dress everyday but it could do a lot of good not only with getting some money in Velaris moving but also just to support local seamstresses, especially if they were illyrian who (if Rhys’s mom is a common case) very skilled and deserving of recognition just as much as Rhys mother for the clothes she made feyre. Yeah over consumption is bad but when you the richest people in the area who wealth hoard its actually kinda good?

Did tamlin say there were no highladys? Yes. But that is all it was, feyre asked if she would be highlady, tamlin said no, bc there's no such thing as a highlady.

What he didn't say was 'absolutely the fuck not you weak little female you can't be highlady bc it will make me look bad.'

It's not like feyre demanded or even pushed the issue, she laid back down and kept letting tamlin eat her out.

But in serious from tamlins perspective feyre didn't push the issue any further, she asked about her position after she married him, he explained and she seemed fine with the answer.

I’m trying to write with common romance fantacy tropes but adding a twist to it to make it fresh so I started with the “shadow daddy” character.

Popular characters that fall into this trope are rhysand and Azriel from acotar, xaden from fourth wing, probably casteal from blood and ash and my personal favorite daemon from the black jewels trilogy.

They’re usually traumatized, in some form of power over there love interest or older usually both, (in daemons case he was enslaved by his love interests family) they also usually have some form of shadow themed powers and black hair with tattoos.

My first thought was ‘why not make this character a woman?’ From what I can tell there’s no reason I couldn’t give a female character these traits so….

I think that she’d be very charismatic and also appear easy going until something upsets her. Following the theme she would also be older than her love interest, probably also more powerful too. She would have a very small group of people that she truly trusts.
