after the first few times of dying and being reborn in eden, it just becomes a place to repent and restart your ways as a sky kid for whatever in the world was holding you back. it's like your sky kid holds it in and then gets to have a short reprieve by going through eden. they still remember what they have done, but at least the weight was lifted off of their wings for it, even if they died for their own sins.

cool tips and stuff in sky:cotl part 2

YIPPEE let's go- some of these might be well-known, so sorry about that (having to upload the videos was a pain plus only being allowed to have one video uploaded but I improvised so sorry for the inconvenience-)

In Hidden Forest, you can go to the last tower with all the white candles and the rain will be turned off in that area, meaning that you can explore the area without worrying about the rain (the water you can swim in in the area still looks like it has rain when it doesn't).

In Daylight Prairie, you can go above the clouds.

If you have a daily task like "__ a friend", you can use the guides in the realms to help since they count as friends. (I don't have a picture or video on hand, but it works. I tried it with the Trials Guide.)

If you switch your flight mode while landing for something, you can get better control of where you land.

The wax from the bundle of candles always refills your light no matter how many wedges of light you have.

The yellow stars on the map are in the general direction of where the winged light spirits are, but it's not all that reliable.

If you want to get up somewhere high with your winged light boosts, it's better to use the first flight mode (i don't know what they're called) from a distance to get up higher than the second mode (you just have to be somewhat decent with controlling unlike me).

Also, you can use your camera to help your character turn better in the game.

Holding the jump key and the key to switch flight modes automatically puts you in the faster flight mode when you fly.

Even though it takes a long time to get to because of how many people you need, finishing the Treehouse guide's tasks makes it where it doesn't rain in the Treehouse area anymore.

The realm with the daily tasks for it that day has the eyes lit up on the gate.

The spirit you need for the daily quest appears like you haven't unlocked it yet even if you have before the daily tasks. (I don't have a picture on hand since I already did the spirit for today, but you know what I mean).

If you want to put something on the wall of your nest, but the rotation doesn't make it look right, put something on the wall and then place the item on there to make it look like it's on the wall.

Not a tip, but I just love the little diving animation for no reason like look at him go (I named him Flint).

Also not a tip, but you can merge into things in your nest if you enter and stand where a piece of furniture is before it loads in. You won't get permanently stuck and you can move out of it easily.

This hidden area in Valley of Triumph. There's another one in Aviary Village but there's a shared space that lets you get in.

These things in Hidden Forest and Daylight Prairie. I don't know what they are and I tried finding them in the other realms, but I haven't been able to find any more.

The gate in Isle of Dawn's temple looking like the mask piece you get from the Isle Elder (I should've taken a picture of the mask piece so my bad-).

Getting into places i shouldn't be: Daylight Prairie edition.

Eggs in Hidden Forest that I have no idea who they could belong to unless it was a part of a season I missed.

You can place your furniture on the ceiling in your Nest and you can still use it. Example: Upside-down bed.

The white candles in each realm's temple (besides Valley of Triumph since that's in the first spot you have the white candles for the race) correspond with the number they're in in the sequence of realms. (Isle of Dawn: 1 candle. Daylight Prairie: 2 candles. Hidden Forest: 3 candles, and so on)

nasa rant because i'm having a NASA special interest brainrot

NASA, or the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, was founded on October 1, 1958 by President John F. Kennedy in order to combat the USSR in the Space Race. One of the main locations was in Houston, Texas, along with two other locations scattered in the United States. These three locations created various new jobs and an influx of money towards the American economy during that time, especially during the Space Race. Although the USSR was the first to get into space, the US was the first to land a man on the moon because the USSR landed an animal on the moon. In case you couldn't tell, I am insane and I might be hyperfixating on NASA and space even after years of being obsessed with it as a child. I used to own a telescope that barely worked and I wanted to be one of the scientists/engineers for NASA, which is why I have a NASA hoodie and used to have a NASA pin before it disappeared. The only reason I talked at a party as a kid was because the guy who owned the house had a telescope and he let me look through it. I stimmed in a Dollar Tree months ago because they had small NASA sets you could build and I wanted one but my mom didn't let me get them. The next time I go to Dollar Tree, those sets are mine.

So, I gave the coffee theory from Good Omens S2 some thought and even though I thought it could be right, I feel like it could be wrong. Think about it.

Aziraphale claims that forgiveness is his favorite thing or something along those lines, so it's not plausible that he's been forgiving Heaven for everything wrong it did. The test against Job by taking everything from him and replacing them (Gabriel claimed it was just not stopping Hell, which technically didn't make it wrong), the execution in S1 of having Aziraphale burn for stopping Armaggedon, the endless and possible lies, everything.

Of course, Aziraphale wasn't there for his own execution in S1, and it's safe to say that Crowley never told him the details (especially not Gabriel's line "Shut your stupid mouth and die already"). But, for everything else, he possibly forgave Heaven for.

Aziraphale's always grappled with right and wrong, evident from Job's time period in S2 E2. Crowley's been past that already, having taken his own side possibly ever since the fall and letting his morals decide what's right and wrong. Aziraphale wants to believe he's doing the right thing, possibly thinking that there's a sliver of redemption for Heaven.

But, he can't have Heaven and Crowley at the same time. He doesn't want to choose, and that's understandable. Crowley's seen the flaws in Heaven's ways ever since the beginning of everything, and he's accepted that. Aziraphale hasn't and possibly doesn't want to. It's like everything he knew about the one thing he thought he could rely on (besides Crowley) was a lie and he was living a lie. He's not ready for that kind of realization.

I feel like Aziraphale didn't back down and choose Crowley when he looked back was because he had been expected to fill a heavy role by himself that came with expectations and a ton of responsibility, especially with the whole "Second Coming" part The Metatron threw at Aziraphale. He can't just leave when this possible disaster or second Armageddon is on the horizon.

Something that I did find off was when Aziraphale said "you lot" when talking to Crowley and referring to Hell. I don't remember the whole thing, but I think he said "you lot are the bad guys" if I remember correctly. Either way, that's something.

okay so you guys know how Aziraphale exploded his halo and caused war (well, kind of since i guess it was like "bitch no war today")? and how the metatron said that there's going to be a "Second Coming"?

what if, and hear me out, Aziraphale caused the Second Coming by exploding his halo? he said angels didn't do it since the Great War and it's fair to assume that the First Coming most likely was Armageddon from Season 1.

unless this got disproven or there's evidence that i'm wrong, i'm going to find more shit to prove this. please tell me if there's been something to disprove this but AHHHH

i am not okay

okay so like Season 2 came out last night for me (on the 27th) and i watched the first 2 episodes and watched the rest in the morning. When I tell you I was REELING from the kiss scene oh my god.

I had to pause, step away from my computer, and start stimming and sobbing and screaming and shaking like a madman before continuing. THE WORST PART FOR ME IS THAT I KEEP REWATCHING THE FUCKING KISS SCENE LIKE WHY MUST I DO THIS MY BRAIN FEELS LIKE IT DOESN'T EVEN REGISTER THE SCENE OR SEASON 2 BEING REAL AHHHHHHHH

i would just like to say that I made a joke about James being short for Jameson and now i don't find it funny anymore for some reason- ALSO NINA CALLING MAGGIE "ANGEL" OH MY GOD. I HAD THIS IDEA OF MAGGIE AND NINA KIND OF BEING LIKE "INEFFABLE WIVES" BUT LIKE THEIR OWN PERSON AND I WASN'T THAT FAR OFF-

honest to god i was so ready for aziraphale to ask the metatron if he could step down, especially after that kiss, but it never happened. the fact that someone said that aziraphale was brainwashed by the metatron makes so much fucking sense it hurts.

this show has me sobbing and i will wait for however long it takes for season 3 to come out because i am not going to let neil break my fucking heart like this and leave us on a cliffhanger amazon you better fucking approve season 3 on god before i come down there and you will get smitten bezos.

anyways yeah the kiss broke me and i'm going to rewatch the scene (i called it kiss™ and now idk how to feel) and then gonna go rewatch the whole season yeah (i'm not even going to go into how i went onto spotify and played an "ineffable husbands" playlist and starting crying)
