Note
please please, If you take other tlou characters requests, especially joel<<< cook up a little scenario where joel's being the raddest dad to his daughters, with reader being the baby sis/or whatever you prefer? like imagine him being all protective and shit, maybe helping with stupid homework, cracking those dad jokes we secretly love but won't admit it...
yk those moments that make you go.. damn joel, adopt me too. oh and bonus if he drops some wise life advice or pulls off a killer dad hug. i need that warm and fuzzy shit, you feel me?
family dynamics make me want to cry but I fucking adore them. if you'd consider making one/or more, please do (no pressure hun I'm sure you get bombarded w/requests)
thank uuuuu
no I am so feeling this, i recently started working on a Drabble regarding joelxdaughter!reader, since most of tumblr is jus' slutty old joel (no offense, i too am guilty) but damn... i miss some wholesome stuff. also adding in his other two baby girls, being readers older sisters x
also questioning to start a elliexdaughter!reader but yk... her being a loser lesbian and the child not being her "own", i'd probably just use JJ as the son.. or make her adopt cargo on the way like Joel did... like mother, like daughter ig? lol
lmk if more people are interested in seeing this type of stuff, would consider turning it into a series! if yes, drop some reqs regarding daddy Joelxreader (reader is underage and OBVS joels daughter so no weird shit please thx), or leave some general reqs w/Ellie etc. (theyre open and im doing my best to get to all of them please be patient x). I will be dropping the first little part very soon loves!

Ellie leaves behind a letter for Dina....
[farmhouse aftermath]
Dear Dina,
I don't know where to begin. I'm sitting here in the farmhouse, surrounded by the memories we built together, and it feels like the walls are closing in. The echoes of our laughter, the warmth of our shared space, they all seem distant now.
I came back after finding Abby. After all that time, after all the pain and sacrifice, I confronted her. And you know what? I let her go. I let her go, Dina, and I thought it would bring me some closure, some peace. But all I feel is emptiness.
I walked through the door, half-expecting to see you and JJ waiting for me, your smiles lighting up the room. But the silence greeted me instead. The rooms are empty, and the air feels heavy with the weight of what's been lost. I searched every corner, called out your names, but there's no answer. Just the quiet reminder of a life, our lives, that's slipped away. I didn't want to leave bu And it's all my fault.
I understand, Dina. I understand why you left. My pursuit of revenge took me to a place you couldn't follow. I can't blame you for wanting something different, something safer for JJ. It hurts, though, realizing that I've pushed away the people I care about the most.
I'm writing this note because I can't stay here any longer. The farmhouse holds too many ghosts, too many memories that I'm not ready to confront. I'll leave everything as it is, the way you left it, and I'll take only what I need.
I don't know where I'm going, Dina. I don't have a plan, a destination, or a purpose. Maybe I'm running away from the pain, or maybe I'm running toward something I can't yet see. All I know is that I can't stay here. Not now.
Thank you, Dina, for everything. For being the light in the darkness, for giving me a reason to keep going. I'll always cherish the moments we had, and I'll carry them with me, even if the weight becomes too much.
Take care of yourself and JJ, he's lucky to have an amazing mom to take care of him. I hope you find the peace and happiness I couldn't give you. Maybe our paths will cross again someday. Until then, know that you were the best part of my life.
With love,
Ellie

Joel's first and last letter to Ellie...
Dear Ellie,
I hope this letter finds its way to you, though I doubt I'll ever have the courage to actually give it to you. I've been meaning to write down these thoughts for a while now, but every time I pick up the pen, my hand hesitates. There's so much I want to say, but I fear the words won't capture what I truly feel.
These past few months haven't been easy for either of us. I know we've been distant, and it's partly my fault. Hell, it's mostly my fault. I've been carrying the weight of the past, the choices I made, and it's been eating at me. I can see it in your eyes, the hurt, the disappointment, and I can't stand the thought of being the cause of that pain.
I remember the first time I saw you, a scared and determined kid with fire in your eyes. You reminded me so much of Sarah, and I couldn't bear the thought of losing someone else. That's why I made the choices I did – I wanted to protect you, to spare you the pain that I've carried for so long. But looking back, I see that I might have gone about it all wrong.
I want you to know that even when we're not on the best terms, it doesn't change how much I care about you. You mean more to me than words can express. I see so much of myself in you, Ellie, and it scares me sometimes. I want to protect you from the world, from the darkness that I've seen, but I also know that you're stronger than I ever was.
I've made mistakes, plenty of them, and I've hurt people along the way. But if there's one thing I've learned, it's that holding onto anger and regret only brings more pain. I'm not asking for forgiveness; I just want you to understand that everything I've done, I did with the intention of keeping you safe.
Sometimes I lie awake at night, haunted by the choices I've made, the lives I've taken. I've wanted to shield you from the darkness, but in doing so, I've pushed you away. I hope you can understand that everything I did, I did out of love. It might not excuse my actions, but it's the truth.
You've grown into such a strong, resilient person, and I'm proud of the woman you've become. You don't need me to protect you anymore, and maybe that's what scares me the most. I see so much of myself in you, and it terrifies me to think that you might follow in my footsteps.
I never meant to be the cause of your pain, Ellie. If I could turn back time, I'd do things differently, but life doesn't work that way. I've been carrying this letter around, unsure if I'll ever have the courage to give it to you. Maybe it's just my way of trying to make amends, to bridge the gap between us.
No matter what happens between us, remember that you're not alone. You have a strength in you that can weather any storm. Life can be cruel and unforgiving, but you don't have to face it alone. I'm sorry for the distance between us, and I hope you find the courage to forgive an old man who cares about you more than he'll ever admit.
Take care of yourself Ellie.
Love, Joel.

Ellie hcs; you get hurt on patrol
Tumblr media
first of all to be fair ellie would never want you to go out on patrol without her as your duo, she wouldn't want anything happening to you and her not being there. matter of fact ellie would do anything to stop you from getting hurt, she would throw herself in front of a clicker if she had to.
though on a few occasions there where times when maria needed an extra pair of hands with some other job, leaving you with another duo, though ellie would only leave you to either jesse or joel.
no way she was trusting you with some newer jackson recruits who had just barely figured out the routes on patrol and would flee at the smallest sight of clickers.
so you where on patrol with jesse, scanning this abandoned supermarket. you had encountered a small group of infected in the area that seemed quiet. as you navigated through the abandoned buildings, joking a bit with jesse, a sudden ambush by a group of hostile survivors caught you both off guard.
outnumbered and overwhelmed, a stray bullet grazed your head, leaving a bloody wound that made you lose consciousness. jesse somehow took out the raiders and managed to get you on his horse.
quickly riding you back to Jackson seen your condition, as you get there, maria would probably be the first to figure out. followed by ellie who knew the patrol schedule, figuring nobody could've gotten back so fast, knowing something is wrong. god forbid something had happened to you and she didn't know.
she would first definitely bark at Jesse, seeing the condition your in, "[your name]- Jesse what the fuck happened!? You were supposed to watch each other's backs out there!"
it was a bit rude but ellie honestly couldn't give a fuck, she was only focusing on you, she would without a doubt take you over from jesse. She would immediately take charge, barking orders to others nearby to clear a path to the infirmary.
"hey baby, c'mon, wake up," ellie would murmur softly, her voice a gentle reassurance as she cradles you. she would definitely be extremely scared and worried seeing all the blood on you, knowing if she where there she maybe could've prevented it. feeling somewhat guilty.
as the medical team works to assess and treat your injuries, ellie wouldn't lose her sight on you, her jaw clenched in silent determination. the occasional muttered curse under her breath slipping out.
after you got treated, they hooked you up to a monitor, giving you heavy pain medications that made you sleep.
once the initial chaos subsided, ellie would pull up a chair beside your bed, maintaining a vigilant watch. her fingers would absentmindedly trace over yours, a quiet gesture of reassurance, as she waits for any signs of your recovery.
ellie would sit beside the chair for hours, not leaving your side once. checking the monitor for you heartbeats, counting if it lined up alright.
joel would come by to see how you where doing and to check on ellie, "you should eat some dinner kiddo, heard they've got some good burrito's in mess ha-", but the poor man wouldn't even be able to finish the sentence before ellie interrupted, "no thanks, 'm fine". joel even offered to watch you while she'd get dinner but nope, she wasn't leaving your side whatsoever.
"you gotta wake up, okay baby? can't have you slacking off on me now," she'd say with a faint smile, attempting to inject a bit of her trademark humor into the heavy atmosphere.
her fingers would gently intertwine with yours, seeking some connection in the stillness. "you're tougher than anyone I know. we've been through worse, right?" she'd continue, a mix of tenderness and determination in her voice.
i feel like in this situation ellie would definitely start to question religion, feeling like if she believed in something it would somehow be easier. as if one prayer could somehow magically make you better again in a split second. though she knew she wouldn't believe in anything (yeah fuck face david ruined that for her), the thought of dina saying small prayers sometimes to stay calm and have hope seemed nice enough.
as you'd start to wake up, feeling the haze of unconsciousness lifting, ellie's eyes would widen with a hint of relief and surprise. she'd be right there, by your side, closely watching for any signs of movement.
the moment she notices signs of consciousness, a mixture of relief and tenderness would wash over her face. she'd lean in slightly, her voice a soft murmur.
"hey babe," she would say, a small, genuine smile playing on her lips. "took you long enough. thought I'd have to start telling bad jokes to wake you up."
even in the discomfort you'd managed to crack a small smile, ellie pressing a kiss to your head, slowly helping you into a more comfortable position sitting upright. she had already made sure to have 2 soft pillows for when you'd wake up, it being nicer for your back.
she'd reach for a nearby cup of water, offering it to you with a gentle touch. "Here, take it slow. You've been out for a bit," ellie would advise, concern evident in her eyes as she watches for any signs of discomfort.
your head was still hurting you a bit, despite the medicine. ellie wouldn't talk too much, just gently tracing patterns up you arm with her fingers.
as you become more alert, ellie would subtly check for any signs of pain or disorientation, her movements careful and deliberate. "how you feeling?" she'd ask, her tone a mix of curiosity and genuine worry. after telling her you're somewhat alright, seen you quite literally had a hole in your head, she'd calm down a bit.
during your mandatory 2 days in the infirmary ellie would do anything, literally anything to keep you entertained and cared for.
she'd share some stories, whether they're tales from your adventures or some embarrassing moments of her own. "so, once i mistook a clicker for a vending machine shadow...", making you both cackle from laughter.
you missed having ellie next to you, like physically being close to you instead of her sitting in that chair. you'd plead for her to lay next to you, scooting to make place. she didn't want to at first, afraid she'd might move and hurt you "babe, I don't want to hurt you".
though after some more pleading and you pulling the "i'm sick, i can get whatever i want and i want my girlfriend" card, she gave in.
ellie wouldn't really leave your side, still, only if she was doing something for you, like picking these flowers she knew you loved, just outside the gate, "just sprucing up the place. hospitals need some flair."
ellie would keep you updated about what's happening outside the infirmary, sharing updates about the community, plans, and anything else to make you feel more connected to the world beyond the walls of the room, she knew you hated staying in a room all day.
finally after 2 days you get discharged, meaning ellie can take you home. she'd completely bundle you up in warm clothing, she didn't want you catching a cold, even though the walk to your cabin was just 4 minutes.
back at your shared cabin, ellie would fuss over you, preparing a makeshift bed with extra blankets to keep you warm and comfortable. "you're on mandatory rest duty, alright? no arguments," she'd declare, a mix of determination and tenderness in her voice.
she would totally position herself near the front door, keeping a watchful eye on anyone approaching. "i'm not letting anyone disturb your sleep," she'd joke, a subtle way of expressing her determination to protect you and let you rest.
ellie would take on a makeshift nurse role, carefully tending to your wounds, changing the bandages for you. "alright, brace yourself for my top-notch first aid skills," she'd say with a grin, trying to lighten the mood as she tended to the injuries.
ellie, with surprisingly skilled hands (see what I did there) would offer to braid your hair, seeing how you hated it being all greasy but not being able to wash yet because of your injury.
your favorite fuzzy pajamas that you love to wear? washed and neatly folded on your bed, ready for you to wear. your favorite movie and snack? already waiting on the kitchen counter.
you'd watch the movie, though ellie could only look at you, cradling you in her arms as she holds you gently. incredibly happy her girlfriend is home again. hugs? kisses? anything you wanted, ellie's right there.
"love you babe", she'd gently whisper, a smile tugging at her lips, "love you more els".
honestly, you didn't mind being injured or sick, knowing ellie williams was there to pamper you x

The night hung over Jackson like a heavy blanket, and the air was crisp with the scent of burnt wood and pine. You and Ellie sat by a crackling campfire with your friends, Jesse and Dina. The warmth of the flames danced on your faces, creating a cozy spot in the midst of the messed-up world you had lived in. Despite everything going south, laughter echoed through the air, a quick getaway from the tough reality.
Ellie, with her short auburn hair and a glint of mischief in her eyes, sat close to you. The sight of her made you smile, as you comfortably leaned against Ellie, your fingers entwined as you enjoyed the warmth of both the fire and each other.
Jesse and Dina were busy chatting about the best way to cook a rabbit they'd snagged earlier. Ellie, always the stubborn and funny one, jumped in with her comments that left everyone laughing. You, with your contagious giggles, added to the mix of joy around the campfire.
As the night went on, a subtle change started sneaking in. A calm tiredness settled upon you, your yawns showing you were getting sleepy. Ellie, being the observant one, couldn't help but notice the signs of weariness in her girlfriend's eyes.
The flickering flames danced to an unheard melody, casting shadows that played on the tired lines etched on your face.
"Feeling tired, baby?” Ellie asked, a teasing grin playing on her lips. The weariness in your eyes didn't go unnoticed.
You managed a half-hearted nod, eyelids heavy with exhaustion. "Maybe a bit."
Without a moment's hesitation, Ellie unzipped her jacket and gracefully slid it off her shoulders. With a tender smile, she draped it over you, you welcomed the warmth with a grateful expression. The jacket, still infused with Ellie's scent, enveloped like a protective cocoon against the cool night air.
"Here, babe. Don't want you catching a chill out here," Ellie said, her voice carrying a gentle concern that spoke volumes about your bond. You mustered a tired but appreciative smile, pulling the jacket snugly around your body. "Thanks Els”.
As the night progressed, the embers of the fire waned, mirroring your diminishing energy. You found herself leaning against Ellie, who welcomed the contact with open arms. Ellie's embrace was a sanctuary, a refuge from the weariness that threatened to consume you soon. The gentle warmth radiating between you was not just a product of the crackling flames; it was a reflection of the genuine affection that had blossomed throughout the months.
The night wore on, and the distant sounds of crickets provided a soothing backdrop. Ellie's fingers traced absentminded patterns on your arm, a silent reassurance that spoke of your unspoken understanding. Despite the fatigue, a quiet contentment settled over you, a shared moment that showed friendship had evolved into something deeper—an unbreakable bond forged through shared laughter, challenging trails, and quiet moments like these.
Your breathing became slower, the rhythmic rise and fall of your chest matching the hypnotic dance of the firelight. Ellie, too, felt the exhaustion of the day's struggles, but the warmth of you against her provided a unique comfort that energized her spirit. With a gentle touch, Ellie adjusted the jacket around you, ensuring you were snug and protected. The night air carried a crisp scent of pine, and the distant hooting of an owl.
Amidst the laughter and chatter of your friends, you gave in to the lull of sleep. Ellie couldn't help but steal glances at you, a fond smile on her lips. She watched as your breathing evened out, the calm look on her face turning the tough reality into a short moment of peace.
Ellie stuck around with her friends a bit longer, not wanting to wake you from the much-needed nap. Jesse and Dina exchanged knowing glances, silently acknowledging the sweet scene unfolding before them. Eventually, the night quieted down, and Ellie knew it was time to take you home.
As Ellie greeted them and carefully maneuvered away from the group, she felt a pang of reluctance to disturb the peace that had settled upon you. Gently lifting your head from her shoulder, Ellie marveled at the way your features softened in slumber. A small, contented sigh escaped out of your lips. Cradling you in her arms, Ellie couldn't help but marvel at the simplicity of finding solace in the person she loved, even if just for a moment.
The walk back to your cabin was a quiet, walking beneath the moonlit canopy of Jackson. Ellie led the way, each step accompanied by the rhythmic rustle of leaves under her boots. You stirred slightly in Ellie's arms, eyes fluttering open for a brief moment before surrendering once more to the embrace of sleep. Ellie smiled down, a silent acknowledgment of the weariness you both carried.
"Almost there, love” Ellie whispered, her voice a gentle murmur. "You can keep snoozin' if you want."
You managed a drowsy smile, nuzzling even
closer to Ellie. "Mm, comfy. 'S nice."
The cabin's door creaked open under Ellie's careful hand, revealing the dimly lit interior. A lantern cast a warm, golden glow across the small space, transforming it into a haven against the darkness outside. As Ellie laid you on the bed, the tenderness in her touch spoke volumes of how much she cared about you.
The worn blankets, proof to the shared history of countless nights, cradled together like a cocoon. Ellie gently managed to take your shoes off of you, not wanting to wake you up.
She covered you with a blanket and with a soft smile, she quietly kicked off her boots before climbing in beside you.
As Ellie snuggled up beside you, she felt the warmth enveloping you in the cozy cabin. You laid comfortably, in that sweet space between being awake and drifting off, letting out a happy sigh as Ellie pulled you in close.
Ellie's fingers played with your hair, a soft smile tugging at her lips as she she watched you. Your eyelashes fluttered a bit, responding to the soothing touch. Outside, the leaves rustled quietly, a noise that seemed to match the rhythm of your breaths.
As Ellie continued playing with your hair, the outside world faded away, leaving only the comforting sounds of their cozy cabin. Amidst the quiet, your soft words broke through,  barely audible.
“I love you," you mumbled, the words hanging sweetly in the air. Ellie's heart skipped a beat at the sincerity in your voice. A warmth, deeper than the blankets around you, spread through Ellie. Without missing a beat, Ellie whispered back, "I love you too, baby,” confirming the love that bound you both together.
As Ellie continued to run her fingers through your hair, a peaceful calm settled over you. The moon added a soft glow through the window, landing softly on your skin.
In the quiet, your breathing steadied, and murmurs faded into a serene silence. Ellie, still holding you close, admiring your sweet nose and how you’d snore a little every now and then. As you slipped into dreams, Ellie held you a bit tighter, cherishing the warmth of your togetherness.
The tired lines had disappeared, leaving behind the peaceful look of someone not bothered by the chaos outside. Ellie couldn't help but be amazed at the simple beauty of the moment—the calmness of sleep, the warmth of shared blankets, and the gentle rise and fall of your chest.
As Ellie closed her eyes, tiredness taking over herself as well. The world might have gone haywire, but in that small cabin in Jackson, love and comfort ruled. They slept, tangled together in the embrace of their own little cabin, finding peace in each other.

As the day turned into evening, casting a warm, amber glow over Jackson, Ellie strolled purposefully through the familiar paths of the settlement. Each step had a reassuring crunch on the gravel beneath her boots. The air held a crispness hinting at the upcoming night, and a gentle breeze whispered through the trees.
Her home was just ahead, a haven of worn wooden panels that told countless stories. Ellie pushed open the door, greeted by the familiar creak that marked the entrance to a place filled with shared memories. With her backpack casually slung over one shoulder, she entered.
"Hey, babe, I'm home!" Ellie's voice, with a mix of affection, echoed through the cozy space. The response was a quiet murmur, a voice that was lost in its own thoughts. With a frown, Ellie followed the sound to the living room.
In the dim light, you sat on the old couch, wrapped in the subtle glow of a candle you had lit earlier that night. Your eyes held a distant gaze, as if tracing the contours of a past that still lingered.
"Rough day?" Ellie asked, genuine concern on her face as she approached you on the couch. You sighed, a sound heavy with unspoken burdens. Ellie settled beside you, the worn out couch sinking slightly under the combined weight.
"Wanna talk about it?" Ellie's voice, a gentle breeze in the quiet room, hung in the air. She softly looked at you, her eyes showing a hint of worry. You hesitated, your eyes fixed on a point in the distance. Eventually, you shook your head. "Not now, Ellie. I just- I don’t want to think about it right now”.
Ellie still remains worried, though she has always respected your boundaries. She softly nods, not wanting to pry you. She glances over at the kitchen, noticing it being very clean. Unlike the mess you’d make when you cooked, she never mind it though, finding it cute how much effort you’d put into dinner for her.
Ellie's brows furrowed with concern. The room, once a safe haven, now witnessed the delicate dance between two souls navigating the labyrinth of emotions. Ellie's arm found its place around your shoulders, a silent reassurance in her language of touch.
“Babe? Did you eat any dinner?”
Ellie hadn’t been around for dinner, quickly eating with Jesse on patrol. She had brought over some soup from
Jacksons cafeteria she knew you loved, still waiting in her backpack. Though she had assumed you had already eaten, it was clear you hadn’t. Your silence confirming her question.
"Come on, baby . You know you gotta eat," Ellie encouraged, her voice a soothing lullaby. "I brought your favorite – that chicken soup you love."
A faint smile danced on your lips, a brief break in the storm of emotions. You loved how she always thought about you, remembering every little detail. Though you quickly felt your throat enclosing on you, feeling guilt wash over again.
"I just can't, Ellie. Not today."
Ellie sighed, frustration brushing against her concern. Her thumb traced gentle circles on your shoulder, a silent plea for understanding. “Babe, you can't keep doing this to yourself. You gotta take care of your body."
"I know, Ellie, I know," you whispered, your voice a delicate echo of remorse. "It's just... hard."
Another sigh, but this time, a resignation settled in Ellie's features. She pulled back slightly, her eyes searching your face. "I hate seeing you like this. I hate that you're hurting, and I can't do anything about it."
You met Ellie's gaze, and in that moment, a silent pact was forged. The frustration transformed into a shared understanding, a recognition of the tapestry woven by scars and healing. "I just want you to be okay. You mean everything to me," Ellie murmured, her touch a tender caress as she brushed a strand of hair away from your face.
Your eyes glistened for a bit, and you softly  leaned into Ellie's touch. Craving the sense of comfort, "I know you do, Ellie. And I appreciate it more than I can say."
Ellie leaned in, placing a soft kiss on your forehead. "Let me help you, okay? I can't stand seeing you suffer like this."
You finally gave in and softly nodded, a silent acknowledgment that spoke volumes. Ellie, determined to shift the atmosphere, rose from the couch and ventured into the kitchen, as she pulled out a container of cookies, their aroma wafting through the air. With purposeful intent, she arranged them on the table. A thoughtful pause, and she disappeared into the pantry.
The return was accompanied by the scent of home-cooked chicken noodle soup, the warmth of familiarity permeating the air. Your eyes, surprise mingled with gratitude, followed Ellie's every move. She slowly moved towards you on the couch with the hot bowl in her hands, hissing a bit at the warmth as she placed it down.
You managed a small smile, touched by Ellie's effort. "You didn't have to, Ellie."
"Yeah, well, I wanted to," Ellie replied with a playful smirk.
"Now, come here."
A subtle invitation, and you acquiesced. The living room became a sanctuary once more as you both settled on the couch, Ellie cradling you in her lap. A shared warmth enveloped you, transcending the mere physicality of your connection.
"I love you," Ellie whispered, her breath a gentle caress against your ear. "And I want you to be okay."
You sighed, leaning into the embrace. You didn’t know how you got so lucky with Ellie, she knew just the right ways to help you get going again. “I love you too, Ellie. I'm just... struggling."
"I know, baby," Ellie murmured, planting a soft kiss on your cheek. "But we're in this together, okay? You don't have to face it alone." She softly smiled as she reached for the bowl and spoon, putting it gently on your lap, encouraging you to at least try some.
Silence settled, the only sounds the occasional slurp of soup and the distant crackling of the fireplace. Ellie's fingers traced soothing patterns on your back, a silent pledge of unwavering support.
“Good-job, take your time okay”, she gently whispered as she played with your hair, soothing you as you lifted the spoon again, halfway through the soup.
As you finished the soup, Ellie couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. Small victories, she mused, placing the empty bowl on the table.
"You did good, my love” Ellie praised, her tone light. "I knew you could do it." She pressed a kiss on your cheek, softly smiling as her face showed some pride.
Gratitude emanated from your eyes, a soft glow that mirrored the warmth filling the room. "Thanks, Ellie," you murmured, your voice carrying the weight of appreciation and vulnerability. "I... I really needed that."
Ellie's eyes, tender and understanding, met yours. In that gaze, you found a sanctuary, a place where your struggles were acknowledged, and your victories celebrated. She leaned in, her lips brushing against the top of your head in a gentle kiss. The touch was a feather-light caress, but it spoke volumes – a language of love, comfort, and unwavering support.
"Anytime, baby," Ellie whispered, her breath a sweet promise against your hair. The endearment, spoken with a tenderness that melted the remnants of tension, painted a smile on your lips. "You're worth it."
In that moment, as Ellie held you close, you couldn't help but marvel at the depth of her care. It wasn't just about the soup; it was about her unwavering presence, her willingness to navigate the complexities of your struggles.
You lingered in the embrace, the room filled with a quiet reassurance. Ellie pondered the delicate dance you navigated – the echoes of the past, the path to healing, and the creation of a future sculpted by love and understanding.
"Ellie?" Your voice cut through the silence, a vulnerable timbre. She softly looked up at you, nodding.
"Yeah, babe?”
Your voice trembled with regret as she confessed, her words hanging in the air like delicate petals. "I'm sorry for putting you through this."
Ellie, still cradling you in her warm embrace, felt the weight of those words. She tightened her hold, pulling you closer, and buried her face in the soft strands of your hair. "Don't apologize, my love” Ellie whispered, her breath a gentle caress against your ear.
"We're a team, you and me. I'm here for you, no matter what. We'll get through this together."
In that moment, Ellie's heart swelled with a mixture of love and determination. She couldn't bear to see you this burdened by guilt. To Ellie, every challenge you faced together was an opportunity to strengthen the bond you shared.
You nodded, your gratitude palpable in the subtle movements of her body. Ellie pressed a tender kiss to the top of your head, a silent reassurance that conveyed more than words ever could.
"I'm lucky to have you, Ellie," you admitted, voice a soft melody of affection. Ellie couldn't help but smile, her heart fluttering with affection.
