(Training will be provided) * Maintain tidy working area - sweeping/vacuum cleaning, cleaning * Gently Remove fixtures from walls prior to painting. * Rub down surfaces thoroughly, removing paint residues with appropriate equipment prior to painting and finishes. * Prepare areas ready to decorate, moving heavy equipment, laying drop cloths/dust sheets across room furnishings, door frame and window coverage with masking tape to add surface protection. (Training will be given) * Erecting access equipment as required (training provided and competency applied). * Assist with scaffolding ladder set ups as required. * Wash and clean all surfaces prior to works being carried out. Clean and maintain tool kits * Work within H&S guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment always. * Any other duties deemed appropriate by Management. Competencies and Qualifications: * Customer service driven. * Excellent ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. * Self-motivated and able to work efficiently, alone or as part of a team. * Strong team player and orientation towards teamwork. * Excellent attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills. * Credible and comfortable in dealing with customers and residents. * A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. A wise teacher once brought balloons to school, told her pupils to blow them up and write their name on one. After the children tossed their balloons into the hall, the teacher moved through the hall mixing them all up.
