Seamus loved the way Dean spoke
-How he drew out his vowels, almost as if he were Welsh, even though he was born and raised in London.
-How his voice was perfectly raspy and cracked constantly, yet listening to it you would forget that. It was smooth and romantic in it’s own right, and it made Seamus melt whenever he heard it.
-How his voice resonated in his chest, and how when Seamus would lay with Dean he could feel it.
-How at the beginning of sentences his voice would let out a short breath and pause before starting.
-How his smile got goofy when he got to talking about stuff that he cared a lot about.
-How his voice would get loud and intimidating when he got angry (it wasn’t particularly scary, but everyone was always so used to Dean being gentle and quiet, so when he yelled it would come as a shock to anyone around him).
-How he whispered “I’m not going anywhere, I love you, now sleep well” into Seamus’ ear as they drifted off to sleep.
-How his laugh would start out a chuckle, crack, and then get really loud.
-How he over-pronounced his “r”s. This started after Dean met Seamus, but the only people who ever noticed were his parents.
-How Dean said “alright, okay” at everything. It was his catchphrase, if you will. And he used it in every context, as well.
-How he would lick his bottom lip before saying something that made him nervous.
-How sometimes, in the night, he would sleep talk.
-How he seemingly had advice for any situation at all, and was always willing to give it.
-How, even though he wasn’t a singer, any Gryffindor would insist that he had the best singing voice of any of the boys in their year.
-How giddy and fast-paced the conversation would get once you got him talking about football.
-How his voice would get even softer and fonder when he was drawing. Dean loved drawing almost more than anything else in the world.
-How his voice was always croaky and deep when he woke up in the morning
-How he called Seamus “Shay”, and how Dean was the only person who was allowed to call him that.
-How sometimes he could get his message across without saying a word. In the way he smiled, or the way he held Seamus, or the way he looked at him. Because Dean wasn’t big on chatting, sometimes the way he moved conveyed even more than any words could.
-How he said “I love you” to Seamus. Every time it was the same; he put an emphasis on the ‘love’ and said it softly. Not quietly, necessarily, but gently without exception.
-How he was so soft spoken. He never really spoke – at least not around other people – and when he did he chose his words carefully. He and Seamus were the exact opposites of each other in that way; Seamus spoke his mind and stumbled over his words, but Dean only ever talked when he thought it was important to do so. That’s why he talked so much when he was with Seamus.

Dean loved all the little things about how Seamus moved
-How he chewed on the pads of his fingers when he was concentrating on something.
-The way his eyes twitched when he laughed.
-How he folded over himself when he was sleeping.
-How he would cross his legs and stand on the tips of his toes when he got nervous.
-His lopsided grin; the right side was always wider than the left.
-How he liked to stick his arm up Dean’s shirt when they were laying with each other, and how he would open up his hand and put it right on Dean’s heart.
-How he was so gangly and clumsy and fell over all the time.
-How when Dean and him were walking alongside one another, Seamus would try to make his strides as long as Dean’s, even though Dean was a foot taller than him.
-How when he was talking about something he cared about, he would always move back and forth on his feet and wave his arms and hands. Dean didn’t even think Seamus knew he was doing it.
-How you could always tell Seamus was getting really angry because he would get dead still and quiet. He was always moving and talking, so when he got quiet you knew it was serious.
-How he was left handed but he wanted to be able to use both hands, so he would always try (unsuccessfully) to use his right instead.
-How he kept his toes scrunched up.
-How he would refuse to sit in chairs properly. It started as a joke to spite McGonagall and then he never grew out of it.
-How he danced when he thought nobody was looking. He’d make up songs and sing them and dance around in the dorm when nobody else was there.
-How he held his hands in his lap — one clasped over the other, and the one on the bottom was always wiggling and scratching. The one on the top would always be still.
-How the two dents in the skin under his eyes on his upper cheeks would become pronounced when he was talking.
-How his jaw would move to the right side whenever he was really into a conversation.
-How he would sniff when he was in an anxious situation.
-How his adam’s apple would move further up his neck when he cried.
-How he would run the tips of his fingers along Dean’s spine when they were hugging.
-How he would try to poke all the freckles on his arms when he was nervous about something.
-How he would bite his finger while falling asleep so that he wouldn’t grind his teeth (although that was never an issue when he slept with Dean).
-How he looked at the things he loved, with wide open eyes and a warm smile on his face. How he looked at Dean like that when he thought Dean didn’t know he was watching.
