I might've added the BG3 Art Book to my dnd assets stash
It' 100% does not have things like the 5e players' handbook + 5e’s character sheet, several gm guides, critical role's explorer's guide to wildmount, baldur's gate and waterdeep city encounters, 101 potions and their effects, volo's guide to monsters, both of xanathar's guides, a bunch of other encounters, one shots, and class builds
In no way are there any pdf’s relating to any wizard who may or may not be residing on any coast
(Edit that I’ve moved the folder to the new link above! So if you catch a different version of this post that link won’t work anymore!)

One of my besties and fellow D&D player and I have made a Little Mermaid AU surrounding our three characters: Promise (me), Nikolai (also me), and Prince (my friend).
They are two male simps who are completely and utterly in love with the absolute Queen (both literally and metaphorically) that is Promise, and through those feelings and slight rivalry find that they also love each other.
We have shipped these three bafoons for ages, but this mermaid AU of them is consuming me.
So I have made art and I can't stop thinking about it!

Play D&D like a normal person? NAH.
Go a little deeper and make an extensive backstory that most of which will probably never be relevant to canon? Sure, but that's mild.
Romance another player and constantly Role play with them scenerios of things that happened between them pre-campaign, during campaign, and post campaign? Obviously. A no-brainer.
But no. I had to take things further.
I made a fucking mermaid/pirate AU with lore, backstory, and accurate fish research to base the mermaid species on.
What is my life?

I have had this painting in my mind for AGES but as the Three Clerics campaign nears its completion, I've had a lot of thoughts about Riona and her goddess Islina.
Islina is, and forever will be, Riona's everything. The goddess practically raised her. Riona constantly chased her goddess's shadow and was happy there.
But as Riona learned more about the world, and ventured away from her Cathedral, she became aware of the darker side of her goddess and how she's been manipulated and conditioned by her her entire life. How she was crafted from Islina to be nothing more than a puppet.
Yet still, she can't bring herself to leave Islina, regardless of how badly it hurts. She forces herself into niavity. Like wise, Islina knows what she's doing to Riona. She knows Riona's fate — to die in Islina's name just as she had in all her previous lives. Yet she can't bring herself to be fully honest with Riona, or let her go, in fear of losing her completly.
So the two remain stuck in a toxic cycle

Boblin the Small - the ultimate bean
You said you've played Dungeons And Dragons? That's really cool! What's your Character like, if you want to share? :)
OH HO! I play in *squints at hands* currently three, soon to be potentially five campaigns, and have played in a number of campaigns in the past, so I have MANY characters. One of my favs is my disaster child, Boblin the Small. She's my go-to for one-shots. Boblin is a 2 1/2 year old (15 in goblin years) goblin rogue with a -1 intelligence. This adorable moronic bean has never once failed to make a party fall in love with her. Bobs was abandoned by her goblin tribe at birth for being too small and was adopted and raised by a couple of dumb gnomes who thought she was just a gnome with a skin condition. Because of this, Boblin full-heartedly believes she is a gnome with a skin condition. Boblin is obsessed with shiny things and licks items to figure out what they are. She has no self-control. She is often played alongside my friend's teifling warlock, Venin, who also has a -1 intelligence. They are the dumbass duo. Allow me to share an interaction between these two idiots. *is investigating the house of the victim in a murder investigation. The house is ransacked and someone was most likely taken from it. Enters the room of the daughter of the victim* Venin (rolled really low): Look Boblin! A bedroom! Boblin (rolled 1 higher): And there's a bed in it! I've got so many DnD stories. Let me know if ya'll want more.

I'm also adding DnD Dice and Kraken Dice to this list, cause they are amazing
Hey BB
do you know any website I can buy dnd dice?
I kind of want to get some dices for my sisters and me as my birthday present, since I didn't get one bc I didn't know what I want.
You've come to the right person. *cracks knuckles* So! First off, we have "Cozy Gamer". They have a HUGE variety of dice all at decent prices. I have personally bought at least 6 or 7 sets from them. They're so good. So amazing. Next up, you're gonna wanna go on Etsy. There are several stores on there that I regularly purchase dice from. The Wizard Vault is absolutely FUCKING AMAZING!!! They colours and glitters that they use are so so good. I've bought probably 10-12 sets from them over the years and some of my favourites are from them. You're also gonna wanna check out Viridian Gaming while you're still on Etsy. They have some REALLY REALLY good deals and prices and the dice are soooooooooo good! I bought 10 sets from them my first order, and I wasn't disappointed at all
Die Hard Dice is also pretty great. I haven't shopped there in a while, but when I did, they sent in this really really cute card with my dice and it was so sweet.
Happy Shopping! I'll be drooling over dice and resisting the urge to buy more least I be shamed by my party for my dice goblin tendencies.

D&D Story Time
@bloopthebat you may be interested in this
So ya'll know how I play D&D? While I had a crazy fucking session tonight, and my roommate is unavailable to rant to, so you guys get to hear it.
I've talked about the Three Cleric Campaign that I'm a part of before. There are three of us, we all play clerics, in a world where gods mostly live amongst us and are our political system as well.
I play Riona, an aasimar order cleric who follows Islina, sun goddess and queen of the pantheon. She's our party's healer
Then there's Taman (Riona's perfect opposite). A human raised by elves, a light cleric who follows the Moon God, a god who has been missing for centuries and is believed to be behind the dark corruption that is slowly killing the world (we only found that out post start of the campaign). He's utilities.
And finally, Thassa. A princess teifling of the Mother of Monsters who is a tempest cleric that follows the sea god Cashoctik (who is neutral in most of the wars that have happened in the lore). She's combat/tank.
ANYWAY! We're in the Mother of Monster's (a demi god) domain on a mission from the Father of Gods to kill her and bring her soul to him to help release him from his prison so that he can save the world from the corruption.
Rather than just go in guns blazing, we know the Mother to be very protective of her children (literally any monster race) and generally quite civil. We go to her, we explain the situation, she's like "Right. You are not the first the Father has sent to do this, and you probably won't be the last. I will let you kill me. But only if you can beat my Champions in battle. Consider it a test of sorts." So for the past few sessions, we've been doing combat and role play in this colosseum against the champions of each of the six children of the Mother: Goblinoids, Yaun-ti, Beast-Men, Orcs, Hags, and finally Demons. (Our DM homebrews a lot of stuff in the best way, so the lore for these races has been changed).
Tonight was our Hag fight and OH FUCKING BOY
All of us were already worried because we've fought hags before. They fuck with your head, and we've all had some recent trauma.
Riona especially.
For context, Riona is currently on the run from her temple (for whom she is seen as the "Marked of Islina", was practically raised by the goddess herself, and is officially a Mother (similar to a nun) of the temple and is the "Head Mother" of the entire orphanage and children care sector). She's been thrown curve ball after curve ball, being told that her goddess committed multiple massacres, imprisoned people, and is overall not always the best person. But then also told that most of those things she did were either with good intention or just cause and was also shown a number of really incredible and compassionate things she's done. So in terms of faith, it's wobbly. Not to mention, she hasn't actually heard from Islina in MONTHS, found out the artifact that her goddess gifted her was a tool for the temple's Cardinals to spy and track her, and that she HAS BEEN LIED TO HER ENTIRE LIFE AND APPARENTLY HAS DIED AND BEEN REINCARNATED SEVERAL TIMES THROUGHOUT HISTORY!
OH YEAH! AND THE LAST TIME SHE SAW THESE HAGS? THEY HAD ONE OF HER PAST LIVES FUCKING TAXIDERMIED IN THEIR OFFICE!!!
*clears throat* So Riona is having a great time.
So we're fighting three hags, and Taman (as usual) nearly dies several times, Riona and Thassa barely have a scratch on them. We kill the first one pretty early in the fight. Riona had to fight the undead corpse of her past life (yay necromancy) due to one of the hags, which was traumatic in its own right since looking in its eyes gave her flashbacks to its memories of its life and its death (which was in the very colosseum we were fighting in). Killed the hag that caused that.
But then there's the last hag. She casts Anti-Gravity, and everything goes to shit.
I won't go into fine details, but basically, since Riona can fly, she wasn't really affected by the spell, so with Taman and Thassa clinging to her leg, she's shooting arrow after arrow at this hag (I got like three nat 20s) and the hag summons this beast thing above us made of wood and bones from the other hags and the remains of Past Life!Riona. Monster thingy grabs Taman and Thassa. Thassa kills the monster thing. Riona grabs the two of them and then kills the hag.
But then Anti-Gravity drops as a result.
Ri (Riona) has everyone pretty sturdily in her arms, so it should be okay. Right?
Wrong.
The branches and sharps pieces of bone and rubble from the monster that had been above us start falling and we're still 90ft in the air held up only by Riona.
Ri fails a dex check to make us all dodge, and I ask the DM if Ri can move her wings so that she takes the brunt of the damage.
DM says if she takes more than 20 damage, she drops Taman and Thassa, and we continue with our house rule of if Riona takes more than 10 damage in one hit to her wings, they're broken until someone heals them.
Riona takes 18 damage.
We're falling. Riona is screaming in pain. Thassa trying to adjust Taman so he won't take any damage if we do fall to our deaths, and Taman is casting guidance on Thassa.
With a 25DC Dex save, with shattered wings, Riona forces herself to push through the pain and catch enough wind under them to slow us down.
Taman casts Cure Wounds on Riona. (The DM describes his magic to be silver with these ghost-like hands that grab, mend, or tear at things depending on the spell. In this case, mid-flight, they were re-setting and mending Riona's wings. The feeling is excruciating and feels wrong as Taman's temple is opposite/enemies with Riona's).
Riona slowly brings them all to the ground.
Just in time to see her Past Life's skull plummet to the ground and with its empty eyes staring into hers, split and shatter.
Riona turned and hid her face in Thassa's shoulder, Thassa pulled Taman into a group hug, and we all stood there, ignoring the audience booing at their champion's defeat, clinging onto each other as we tried to process what we had just gone through.
Deeply traumatized, we're lead to our waiting room to heal and plan before our last fight against the Demon King, the original Demon.
Riona is shell-shocked and finally breaks from just everything she's been put through with her temple and her goddess and this. She's shaking, she's crying silent tears and can't fully bring herself to talk. Taman lays down near where she's sitting, pats her leg and sleepily tries to comfort her. Thassa, after dealing with some of her own shit that went down, grabbed a bowl, sat behind Riona, and gently hummed to her as she wiped down Ri's wings and helped ground her.
This was the closest, most family-like moment our party has ever had.
By my own choice for role play, Riona will not be able to fly for the rest of the day, and from here on out will have to do a Wis save before flying to see if she can actually push herself to do it again.
She's traumatized as fuck and I have no idea what's gonna happen now.

Hi Bee,
I miss getting your notifications T.T
(And quietly stalking your page everyday)
Anyway, how are you doing? Any good DnD moments recently? Any new obsessions (shows, books, items, etc)? How is university?
MEG!!!! 🧡💜🧡💜
I know babes 😭😭 Trust me, shadowban is killing me, but I've got hopes that it will lift soon.
I've been doing fairly good this week! I'm still obsessing over My Hero Academia, but also am LOVING Haikyu at the moment!
School is great, though stressful and starting to burn me out a little. I'm counting the days until winter break
D&D - YES!!
So, my Aasimar cleric, Riona, after MONTHS of silence from her goddess no matter what method of communication she tried (the pin she was given, sending spells, and prayers), she used Divine Intervention at one of Islina's (her goddess, sort of adopted mother, queen of the pantheon, and goddess of the sun, justice and trade) alters using a prayer book, incense and her holy symbol.
Riona basically said something along the lines of "You've been quiet. You abandoned me, and maybe I deserve that, but Zander (her twin who also hasn't heard from Islina) doesn't. I've learned so many things while I've been away. I know about what you did (*cough* multiple war crimes *cough*). While I believe in you, and part of me always will, I no longer trust you, nor do I trust you to tell me the truth." or something like that.
And the alter glows red-hot and an avatar of fucking Islina steps out FURIOUS and fucking growls "How dare you! I'm the one who was quiet?! I haven't heard from you for MONTHS! We all thought you were dead! I mourned you! And then you come into one of my towns with a dirty human, grab some prissy teifling and run off again, and now you're saying that you don't trust me?!" and fucking goes off.
My DM was yelling ... he never yells 😅 Islina even pushed Riona down at one point when she did try to snap back.
Riona tried to speak up a couple of times, but was quickly shut down with a "DO NOT INTERRUPT ME WHEN I AM SPEAKING", in which Ri's upbringing/training kicked in and she bowed her head and timidly replied "Apologies, your Radiance."
Eventually, Ri did snap though as Islina tried to blame her for taking the words of others without even trying to go to her and Riona screamed back, "I tried! After every reveal, I tried to reach out to you! To have you tell me the truth! I prayed, I casted sending, I used that stupid pin, but you weren't there! You never answered! You left me!"
Islina looks angry again, her temper came to a climax and she goes, "No! I never received any-" and then silence. Suddenly Islina draws into herself, her expression becoming horrified as realization hits her. "I never received any of your messages. Not a single one ... My cardinals have turned against me (for context, our DM homebrewed it so that things like prayers and sending for higher gods go through a sort of "mailroom" process through the cardinals since they receive so many of them)."
Islina tries to apologize and hug Riona, who is just stiff and tense with uncertainty and slight fear. She doesn't let her go though. She keeps holding her, petting her hair and wings as she whispers reassurances and then eventually says, "You know the temple will always have our doors open for you. I'm here for you, my dear Riona."
And after months of suppressing her feelings, months of religious trauma thrown her again and again, and months of being told that everything she knows is wrong, Riona breaks into the comforting arms of the woman she sees as a mother. She collapses, clinging onto Islina as she sobs and finally tells her everything.
Afterwards, Islina basically apologized for a shit ton and said she was sorry she had to go through all of that and that she wasn't there to help her. She then orders Riona to report to her consistently from here on out, but not through the normal channels. To only reach out to her as she did that day: at alters with Divine Intervention. And then she said goodbye and left.
The alter was scorched with her golden idol melted when she left from how hot she had made the room when she was raging.
The party (who was waiting outside and heard everything) rushed in afterwards and just held Riona. I have been told that they are all now greatly concerned about Riona and cautious about her relationship with Islina. For good reason.
I fucking love this campaign

I'm really proud of myself.
About a month ago, I challenged myself to do an art series of my D&D characters done in monochromatic colors that represented them.
I took a little longer than I expected as I often did sketches during class or work, line work during breaks while writing essays and painting late at night, but I finally finished.
It's not perfect. Not even close. But it's mine, and I'm so proud that I just pushed myself to do this.
Fine art/traditional art isn't the creative outlet that I'm most skilled/comfortable with, but I find watercolor and sketching really relaxing and have taught myself more and more as I go.
So please don't be too harsh, but without further ado, my first ever art series 😊
Riona - Protector Aasimar / Order Cleric - Yellow
Ingrid - Kalashtar / Enchantment Wizard - Pink
Xenia - High Elf / Grave Cleric - Green
Promise - Teifling / Celestial Warlock - Purple

How was D&D?
It was amazing!
My DM for the Three Clerics Campaign is absolutely incredible and we had a shopping/roleplay session last night.
The highlight was definitely us meeting our fourth Floomph!
In this world, Floomphs were the first creation of the Father that he made when he was a wee lad. He hates them because they are extra and annoying as fuck. We love them and hate them at the same time.
Although there used to be hundreds of them that functioned as the extremely powerful servants that build, enchant and create, there are now only six.
The Great Floomphs of architecture, science, healing, arts, secret keeping and libraries.
Before yesterday we had only met the Floomphs of architecture (our home pal. The og. He's great and is actually a real help unlike the others), science (was kind of infected by this dark evil that is infecting our world, but Riona purified and helped him. He gave us info in return) and healing (SOOOOO annoying. Oh my god. She was the right hand of the Mother of Monsters and worked as her healer for years even though the Mother hates her. She is always crying). We love them because they are absolutely hilarious to interact with. But they can get a little annoying at times.
Yesterday, we were shopping for some armor and asking if there was anywhere we could enchantments done. The store keep looks around and says, "I know one place. But it'll cost ya,"
We give him the money and he tells us "Go to the abandoned house down the street to your left. Enter the house, in the back left corner there's a locked wooden door. They'll ask for the password. It's floomph."
I gasped while Taman's player let out a huge groan.
We go to the building, see this exhausted man guarding the door. We tell him the password and he ages ten years and says "Are you sure you don't want to say the wrong one?" We insist and he lets us in.
The room is filled with lavish red curtains, pillows, art pieces and gems galore.
In the middle of the room, sitting in front of huge portrait of himself, dressed up with rings on his little tentacles is sitting on a velvet kline, is the Great Floomph of Artistry.
He is basically Asmodeus.
We tell him what we need, he says he can't help us for free. That he needs something personal to us, something vintage.
Taman was in a tight spot, so Riona spotted him some vintage white wine from the Islinian Capital.
The Floomph took one look at Riona and her 12ft wing spand and asked for two of her feathers. She hesitated but agreed. (I'm honestly a little freaked out that he has them, cause he said they would be the center piece of his next masterwork and when she flapped her wings to clear the room of smoke later on he looked at her in pure fascination and was like "Oh my. How divine! Do it again!")
Thassa managed to convince the Floomph to take some gems from her.
It was all worth it in the end since the floomph's enchantments and alterations basically doubled the effectiveness of our respective weapons and boosted our armour's AC!
Floomphs man. They're the best and the worst at the same time.

How does D&D work? From what I understand, it's a roleplay-based game, by rolling dice(?)
Exactly!
So in D&D you have your Dungeon Master who runs the game. They control the world that you're playing in, make any characters you interact with, plan any combat you may partake in, and set up the over all story.
Then you have your party of players, a group of hand-made characters who the DM leads through the campaign/game. Party members can interact with the world through a series a skill checks made with either Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Wisdom, Intelligence or Charisma. Within each of those categories are more specific skills and traits.
When party members make their characters they use dice to roll stat numbers for each of those things, and get a modifier number. So, when a player wants to, let's say, see if they're being watched, they would roll a 20-sided dice and add their modifier, and depending on what they get, the DM decides whether or not it's high enough to pass the check and narrates from there. There's more specifics, but yeah.
The best way to describe D&D is collaborative, interactive storytelling

Red flag in D&D are just ugh
How can we detect red flag in D&D before it's too late?
That's a hard question.
There are a lot of types of toxic players and DMs so it changes a bit depending on what they're like.
In the few experiences I had, I didn't realize until it was too late and then removed myself from the campaigns once I did.
Sometimes they're obvious, and you can talk with them to help them realize what they're doing and things will get better.
Other times, they're manipulative and sneaky and try to gaslight you even if you confront them.
Toxic players and DMs don't always happen, but when they do, it can be a little scary. Just make sure you stay aware of yourself and how the people at the table are making you feel. If it's a player making you uncomfy, talk with your DM. Your DM is there to help ensure that everyone is enjoying the game. If you're not, you need to talk to them.
If it's your DM, it might be best to leave the campaign if they won't listen to you. The most important thing is that you feel safe at the table and are having fun. If that changes, it's not worth it.
Here are a couple of great videos on toxic players, identifying them and addressing them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLkGQCvN-1c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiYSLEtR2Wg&t=240s

Still my favourite quote that has come out of Three Clerics
I made a short comic inspired by a session I had in the "Three Clerics" campaign that I'm in! I've been working on it for a bit and I'm quite proud.
So Riona is a Marked of Islina, but as Islina is supposedly the only God that has Markeds, no one really knows what this means.
We were talking with the God of Secrets, Canshan, and Riona asked him about Markeds. He said they were dolls; empty beings crafted to obey their maker. When they were no longer able to do that, they'd be disposed.
Later that night, Taman had a vision of the Moon God telling him "Taman, you are to me what Riona is to Islina."
This has many implications, but it inspired me and I made this!
(flow directions:
Close up: "Taman ..."
Profile + strings: "You are to me ..."
Struggling front: "What"
Shocked front: "Riona"
Riona + Islina: "Is to Islina.")

You know, it's kind of sad how often the bottom image is canon for Ri. Poor girl. My DM likes to make her suffer 😅
So I'm doing a new art series where I draw what my characters would look like if none of the bad happened to them, and then drawing them either on the day it all went wrong or at one of their lowest moments.
I started with Riona (because I adore her)
So her "if none of the bad happened" was basically if she had stayed niavely happy at the Cathedral, ignorant to all Islina's (her Goddess, Goddess of the Sun and Queen of the Pantheon) doings, happy to stay under her watch as a Head Mother of the temple. As a result, she never would've gained her wings, remaining perfectly grounded as Islina wanted her.
Then we have the once innocent Riona, now experienced in battle with blood on her hands and wings that she doesn't trust to hold her or her companions struggling to remember her faith to the sun when she's surrounded by so much darkness
