HAPPY HOLIDAYS @dargonwriter!! This is my finished piece for the TDP Holiday Exchange @tdpholidayexchange. I drew this lovely person as my giftee, and it was an excellent chance to draw some Ruthari/Moon family cuteness. Dargonwriter requested a festival of some sort, so I think they’re all heading home from some kind of lunar carnival with games and snacks. Ethari put those big blacksmith muscles to use and won Rayla the largest prize, even though she pretended she didn’t want the super cute giant plush at first (but really, she’s delighted). Hope you like it!

I’m loving the commentary! I did also think “ah, flying sparks. this might be a bad idea.” But Ethari would probably just say “WORTH IT!”

@sunstone-nerding you’re right! I did reference Runaan’s marks and played with a few different designs before opting on this. It’s based on Ethari’s face markings but I was also thinking of traditional Celtic body art designs.

Sometimes it gets a little hot at the forge. 😉
