Eating Disorder’s are not a phase

An Eating Disorder is not skipping one meal, thinking you are fat, or wanting to loose a few pounds. An eating disorder is a mental disease, one that controls your life and overpowers everything else you once cared about. It’s so much more than “just not eating to be skinny.” It transforms you into a different person, stealing your personality and happiness, and replacing them with fear, anxiety and loneliness. It doesn’t appear out of nowhere, it grows from so many different sources - stress, depression, control issues, perfectionism, and overworking your body. It drains you mentally and physically, and surely but slowly kills you - literally. You can never fully understand an eating disorder unless you’ve had one yourself, and I hope none of you never have to go through that.

I’ve posted about this a few times here, but I never had the chance to really sit down and go into detail about the events that led me to find the account so I’m going to do that now. I want to apologize to those who are on mobile in advance because this will end up being an incredibly long post. I’ll fully understand if you guys want to unfollow temporarily because of it, so feel free to do so.

The Instagram user onedirection.selena (she sometimes changes between that, tomlinson.horan.nouis and nouis.horan.tomlinson, on the off chance she changes her username again) has stolen manips from people and is claiming them as her own. While I wouldn’t normally make a big stink about something like this, the reason I’m posting about it is because she has denied multiple times that she’s stealing them despite me having evidence to the contrary. I’ve spoken with her privately in an attempt to get her to see the error of her ways and she has yet to do so, so I’m going to be providing links and screenshots of the originals of most of the manips she’s stolen compared to her account. She can deny all she wants, but you can’t hide from cold hard facts.

In the meantime, if you could please report her account for spam as well as the individual images, maybe her account will be removed and she won’t be able to continue to steal the hard work of many talented manip artists. Also reblogging this post to get the word out there would be greatly appreciated since I worked for a few days gathering links for this.
