I actually really really want to see “The Coffee Table”, but haven’t been able to find it anywhere, hopefully it will be available here in Norway soon. I think I saw “A Christmas Story” when I was a kid, but maybe it’s due for a rewatch this Christmas season.

Oh no I remembered memories of murder wrong, you're right they never did catch the killer (gonna change the original post). Decision to leave guy does solve his case though, even if only to himself

Double Bill Number Eight: Memories of Murder (2003) + Decision To Leave (2022) South Korean movies about kind of incompetent, bumbling and violent detectives trying, and ultimately succeeding, to solve murder cases. Great movies, funny, grisly, weird and sad.
