Deviant Starr E. Knites — Conception to Finality

Original PMV - Worlds

I'm currently working on a PMV alongside with any small (one day) commissions that come in. It is inspired by Porter Robinson's Worlds album. Cutting five of the songs together to make a short movie, picture and short animations, I plan on releasing it at the end of summer, but it may be pushed back. 

The Songs

The story I've planned out and begun story boarding for follows the songs Years of War, Fellow Feeling, Fresh Static Snow, Sad Machine, and Goodbye to a World. These songs together inspired me to write a short story that is heavily inspired by what Worlds is about and can be considered a fan music video for the overall album.

The Story

I won't say much, but imagine a war torn world that needs a cure. The only cure is in a hibernating robot that must be woken up by our protagonist. My promise to you all is that it will end very, very sadly. (Just the overview/summary sent my brothers to tears.)

What Can the Fans Do?

Well, 1) have patience please. I'll work on this as much as I can, but as some of you may know, I need to work on my portfolio to submit to a couple companies (one which I'm very excited to work with if they accept it). 2), donations are always appreciated. I make my living off of commission work so if I want to get this released soon, I have to rely more on donations and not commissions. They'll eat up my time more than anything, so getting the monetary backing from you all will help out a lot in order to get this out by summer's end.

Is Porter Robinson Going to Watch This?

Aw man, I hope so! I'm mutually following  another artist who is making a music video for the whole album. I like his work, he likes mine, and I think he'll be done before me. So if Porter is going to watch his first and like it, I hope that if he manages to see mine, that he'll like it as well (even if it is a different way of presentation). It would be an honor to have him like my work like SteLOUSE did on both Instagram and Facebook! 

Anyway, I look forward to working on this and more. If you continue to follow me, you'll see a few more posts of my classwork before the end of the term comes up and then more original and fan works (as well as a return of HBE??). It'll be busy, but I'll do my best! Thank you for sticking with me!

Commission Finished?

Who knows! Only time and the buyers will tell. I want to share though some progress shots of what I've done so far. Once it has been confirmed, I'll add it in to the commissions tab on both here at Conception2Finality.net and amaradefelice.myportfolio.com. Check it out soon!

Upcycle Project

I made a dress out of a twin sized fitted sheet. A bag was created out of a pair of dress pants to go along with it. Whoever buys it at the Denton County Friends of the Family Thrift Store will be ready for a stylish summer!

A New Site

A new site is up and wow, I'm amazed at how beautiful it is. I wasn't too crazy about SquareSpace's prices before, but they offer a student discount! So for at least a year, this it what I'll be posting off of. Continue to follow me for more wonderful things to come!
