Currently working on writing an answer for a question I've received some time ago revolving around astrology and our taste in music and it really hit me that I enjoy answering questions like these.
Therefore, if you have any astrology questions or curiosities, feel free to send them my way!
plus, you might also bring up topics that might be interesting for me to add to my research "list"

TRANSITS OVERVIEW
⭐―― VENUS ENTERS ARIES On February 20th, Venus will enter Aries and will stay there until March 17th. This could mean that you might want to be more independent and assertive in and with your relationships, which can lead to you also demanding more from the people that are involved with you. Some people might experience fast attachments. There's a tendency to be more reckless and impulsive. If there's something you wanted to pursue for some time, this is a great time to do since Aries' energy can make you more enthusiastic, passionate and bold. ⭐―― NEW MOON IN PISCES Generally speaking, a new moon is a time when you "plant the seeds". It's a time to start something new, to make new wishes, to reflect on yourself and prepare for the new ways in which you can improve yourself. This is happening in Pisces so it's a great time for introspection and finding what benefits you and what doesn't. A time to learn that letting go is alright and necessary. You might also feel more inspired and get a creative boost. The house in which the new moon in Pisces falls in, is where you might get a better understanding regarding the issues that this house brings in your life. ⭐―― MERCURY SQUARE URANUS Starting on February 21st, and until February 25th, Mercury will square Uranus. This is an aspect that's quite charged with energy so it can be rather challenging than beneficial. Even though it brings mental stimulation, whatever you're doing, you might find yourself bored with it quite quickly. You might also encounter situations that seem to appear out of nowhere that demand you to quickly adapt and perhaps, even take fast decisions while said situations are happening. ⭐―― MERCURY TRINE MARS Starting on February 22nd, and until February 27th, Mercury will Trine Mars. This one fits nicely with Mercury square Uranus since your mind is already stimulated from the square and Mercury's trine with Mars is enhancing your mind further. If you're someone who's working in a field that's mentally taxing, you might find that you have a bit of an easier time. There's a tendency to be more confident and direct in your communication.

‼️ this is strictly my personal opinion based on my understanding.
thalassophobia tw Here I am once again answering a question I've received a long time ago.
Heyy, What makes a person thalasso-phobic according to astrology? Can I have a water ascendant and still be thalasso-phobic?
Yes, you can have a water ascendant and still be thalasso-phobic. Having a water ascendant doesn't automatically make you a fan of water.
What is thalassophobia in very simple terms? fear of deep, large bodies of water so what we need to look at is "who" is associated with 1. fear and 2. deep, large bodies of water. For fear, we have Saturn, Neptune and the 12th house. Meanwhile, for deep water, we have Neptune and Pisces. There, we might find the following:
Saturn in the 12th house/Pisces Saturn-Neptune aspects (any; generally speaking, these 2 have difficulties working with each other) Neptune in the 12th house Multiple planets in Pisces (i don't want to call it a stellium since, for example, only 2 planets might be involved together with an angle and that's enough to play an important role when it comes to this topic) Saturn and/or Neptune aspecting the inner planets (I would say with emphasis on Moon and Mercury, the reason being that fear is an emotion (Moon) that is experienced in the mind (Mercury); there's a high chance that an aspect between Moon and Mercury exists as well in the chart of someone who has this or any phobia for that matter)

TRANSITS OVERVIEW
⭐―― VENUS CONJUNCT NEPTUNE On February 15, Venus will conjunct Neptune. This is a time when you might feel more inspired, with a need to improve the aesthetics of your surroundings. It doesn't favor practicality since this brings lots of daydreaming. On a more challenging note, you might experience feelings of insecurity, jealousy, and even a false sense of love in some cases. You might also be more impressionable than usual. ⭐―― SUN CONJUNCT SATURN On February 16, Sun will conjunct Saturn. This a great time to organize and plan things, especially since you might be more open to doing said things in a different way compared to what you're used to. New responsibilities might show up as well and for some, this might come from advancing in their career. Even though you might feel like you don't have much energy, try to focus on getting done what needs to be done and not give into the underlying need to just isolate. ⭐―― SUN ENTERS PISCES On February 18, Sun will enter Pisces and its influence might be felt in the house it falls in your birth chart. You might be more sensitive and more willing to give. Following your intuition in dealing with some of the issues that the house this falls into might play an important role in solving them. What you need to be careful with is staying grounded and being careful with how much you give since this is a time when you're also more vulnerable.

Hello! I saw your post abt planets making aspects with the sun. I'm a Saturn opp Sun individual, and I totally agree! Although, my Saturn is retrograding, and so I'm just curious, how would that work? I'm still learning about retrograde planets, I think they're tricky. Anyway, thanks for hearing me out!!
Hi there! Thank you for your message and I hope you find this useful!
‼️ this is based on my personal understanding and is an overview. signs, houses and aspects always play an important role in how something is expressed.
There's a lot to unpack there, but you're right about retrograde planets being more tricky. Usually, regardless of what the planet represents, there's this outward expression (think of it as the energy being released one way or another instead of being held onto). Retrograde planets have a more inward expression, hence why people that have them seem to struggle more with figuring out what's going on.
Quick overview of Sun opposite Saturn challenges: most of the time you're met with obstacles. the tendency to always look and find the faults in yourself instead of looking and seeing what your strengths are. feeling like you're not enough. This pair pushes you to accept that you're limited, but that doesn't mean you can't work with those limits and make the best out of them. I also want to mention that another issue that comes up with Sun opposite Saturn is that there might be difficulties with a paternal figure. These difficulties can be quite complicated so it's not that easy to deal with or solve.
Now we switch Saturn with Saturn retrograde. Your focus on all the things above is even more intense. I feel like no matter what you do, you will always go back to the issues that Sun opposite Saturn brings until those issues are either solved entirely or you find a common ground. Having a fear of rejection and being too focused on unfinished business can also happen with a Saturn retrograde.

SUMMARY
Sun-Mercury, Sun-Venus, Sun-Jupiter: work well together
Sun-Moon, Sun-Mars: the nature of the aspect is important, as well as the signs involved
Sun-Saturn, Sun-Uranus, Sun-Neptune, Sun-Pluto: regardless of the aspect, it's challenging
Sun tends to work really well with Mercury, Venus and Jupiter even if the aspect is a challenging one. The reason is that these three provide more accessible outlets for the Sun to put itself out there. This trio supports Sun's expression and gives it the freedom it needs. Mercury and Venus are never straying too far from the Sun, the distance between Sun and Mercury never being more than 28°, while the distance between Sun and Venus is never more than 48°. Mercury might be the fastest way for the Sun to express itself since you can just communicate, regardless if another person is involved or not (Venus). Venus is the one who teaches the Sun the importance of relating to other people and connecting with them. After all, relationships can show you the different ways in which you can express yourself, but also reveal sides of you that you might not be aware of. Then Jupiter comes in and really boosts everything. Not only does it tell the Sun "hey, let me show you how you can expand", but it also reveals to the Sun how far expression can go. Overdoing it is not necessarily a good thing, but can provide our Sun with the opportunity to grow.
If we talk about Sun-Moon and Sun-Mars, it really depends on the aspect between them (the signs play a role). Even though the Sun is our ego (or as I like calling it, our core), making it part of our inner world, it's more outside-oriented. Meanwhile, the Moon which represents our feelings and reactions is also part of our inner world but has less drive to be out there so this can cause tension when the aspect between these two is a challenging one. What a challenging aspect does is create an imbalance, especially since the Moon's energy is quicker to change and adapt compared to Sun's. Sun-Mars combo is basically a ball of energy+another ball of energy = energy overload, in a way. It doesn't matter if we talk about harmonious or challenging aspects, Mars is really fueling the Sun. Put ego and drive together and you get something that will pursue what it wants through whatever methods it has at its disposal. As someone that's having a conjunction, I feel this is one pair where awareness and active effort are needed to keep it balanced as you can easily fall into the other extreme.
When it comes to struggles, regardless of the aspect, the Sun is not having a great time when it's teaming up with Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Sun-Saturn has a lot of good things going on since Saturn will teach the Sun about limits, boundaries, discipline, responsibility, modesty, and so on, but all of these come with a price: restriction. I imagine this pair as taking a lit lightbulb and covering it with something. You can see its light peeking through, but it's not as bright as it should be. It doesn't sound too good, but sometimes you need to dim the light in order to see what else is there. Saturn doesn't dim the Sun's light forever, quite contrary I feel, it creates the opportunity to make it brighter after what needs to be learned is learned. If with all the other planets it's all about the Sun, when it meets Uranus it becomes a bit more about the others too. After all, Uranus' influence triggers the need to make yourself unique among other people. It's not the "one-up everyone" case, but rather "what differentiates me from others". When the Sun connects with Neptune, this is where the Sun risks losing itself, temporarily or not. Even though this comes packed with intuition, inspiration, sensitivity, and ideals, it also brings daydreaming, seeing something as something that it's not, and sometimes even confusion. In a way, we can say that with Sun-Neptune it's easier to put on the rose-colored glasses and harder to take them off. As for Sun and Pluto, I feel like this one is heavier for the Sun than the other ones. Pluto's energy brings in things that are not easy to deal with, be it transforming the ego or dealing with the so-called "shadow". Even if the Sun wants to or not, it's pushed into dealing with whatever Pluto is throwing at it. In a way, it seems that Pluto brings forth things that have the potential to break the Sun in an attempt to teach it that, even if you break, it doesn't mean it's over and that you're gone. After all, when something ends, something else begins.

TRANSITS OVERVIEW
⭐―― MERCURY CONJUNCT PLUTO On February 10, Mercury will conjunct Pluto (approx 8 days). This can bring lots of enthusiasm when it comes to sharing opinions, thoughts, and ideas, with an emphasis on these being most likely in the taboo zone. There might be an urge to dig deeper into different topics, especially the topics that you find mentally stimulating. This is really a time when your mind feels more intense than usual, but it can be very good for gathering and analyzing information that you're interested in. What you need to be careful with is to not become too engrossed with your own mind and also to not over-estimate yourself. note: this one is quick to become an "out of sign" conjunction so its effects might be watered down. ⭐―― MERCURY ENTERS AQUARIUS On February 11, Mercury will leave Capricorn, enter Aquarius and stay there for the next 21 days approx. This fits quite well with "Mercury conjunct Pluto" since Aquarius' energy will bring mental freedom. You might feel more comfortable with ideas that don't have a solid foundation yet but have the potential to be innovative.
RISING SIGNS
♈︎ ―― ARIES RISING (10th and 11th house): mind focused on improving career. making plans and organizing things in such a way that will ensure that your goals/ambitions benefit from them. a more experimental approach than practical. involving your friends or them involving themselves. meeting and/or joining new social groups.
♉︎ ―― TAURUS RISING (9th and 10th house): mind focused on expanding knowledge. learning from others, but also teaching others. the information obtained might be helpful in pushing goals further (if we speak career, it can benefit from said information). traveling for knowledge. more inclined to share what you know, especially if that's not your thing usually.
♊︎ ―― GEMINI RISING (8th and 9th house): intense experiences that might affect your mind. opportunity to delve deeper into your thoughts and better understand yourself. dealing with issues involving what you share with others (it might be something that has been bugging you for a while, but you didn't feel like you have the mental power to deal with it). these intense experiences might broaden your horizons, and open your mind to new ideas, beliefs and knowledge.
♋︎ ―― CANCER RISING (7th and 8th house): looking deeper into the relationships you have. if you've had something on your mind regarding one or multiple relationships, this might be the time when you speak up about it, making it clear that you're serious and not joking around. finding new ways in dealing with your resources.
♌︎ ―― LEO RISING (6th and 7th house): analyzing your current lifestyle/routine. mental focus on improving your daily life (you might start learning about things that can help you with improving). good time to openly communicate with people that you have a relationship with, especially if there are lingering issues that haven't been solved yet.
♍︎ ―― VIRGO RISING (5th and 6th house): fun activities that stimulate your mind (be it for entertainment only or for educational purposes). opportunity to make creative ideas a reality. you might get out of your norm when planning things in advance regarding your daily life or work.
♎︎ ―― LIBRA RISING (4th and 5th house): focus on understanding better what makes you feel safe and what brings you peace of mind. you might share with who you see as a family your deeper thoughts. thinking of the past. looking for new ways to entertain and relax your mind. if you had to deal with an issue, you might feel like your mind has been freed from something that weighted heavily.
♏︎ ―― SCORPIO RISING (3rd and 4th house): very active in communication. you might feel like your mind is never taking a break. great time to just gather information and analyze it. might feel mentally exhausted (this might happen when mercury enters Aquarius, therefore your 4th house). looking back on your past with a more open mind and perhaps, with different eyes.
♐︎ ―― SAGITTARIUS RISING (2nd and 3rd house): taking a more in-depth look at your values and/or financial situation. emphasis on material affairs though (perhaps you're making plans to purchase something or you're in the process of purchasing something; more inclined to negotiate). finding new ways to communicate.
♑︎ ―― CAPRICORN RISING (1st and 2nd house): increased objectivity. you might jump from one thing to another. need to travel (short distance usually). you might find it easier to express your views to others. putting mental energy into "projects" you find useful and can bring you benefits, especially if it's money-related.
♒︎ ―― AQUARIUS RISING (1st and 12th house): tendency to blurt out your thoughts (you might not want to share what you think, but you end up doing it anyways, without realizing it even). focus on abstract concepts and ideas. avoiding confrontations. great opportunity to research.
♓︎ ―― PISCES RISING (12th and 11th house): you might hesitate to say what needs to be said to others, but not when it comes to your friends with which you might have very open discussions. meeting new people, perhaps through people that are already part of your social circle. taking a closer look at what your social standards are.

✧࿓☾⋆ ˚。⋆˚ jan 30, 2023 - feb 5, 2023 astro transits (part 2-B; libra to pisces)
©deetalksastro ✦ All rights reserved. //don’t claim it as your own and/or repost it on other platforms.//
‼️ disclaimer: this is my personal interpretation based on my understanding. remember, this is an overview. for specifics, a person's chart needs to be analyzed. therefore, you might or might not relate to this.
This is part 2-B which contains an overview of what this might mean for the rising signs (Libra to Pisces). Long post incoming.
PART 1 (transits overview) // PART 2-A (Aries to Virgo)
┖ reblogs are very much appreciated💜
♎︎ ―― LIBRA RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 5th and 8th house. Your focus might shift towards activities that allow you to express yourself and be creative. Since you might require resources in this pursuit, tensions might arise in the area of shared resources as you might end up using said resources, and whoever you're sharing this with might end up being unhappy about it. On a brighter note, the deep connections you have can support your creativity and provide you with what you need in order to fully enjoy this. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This full moon affects your 11th house. If you're already in the spotlight within your social circle(s), this might feel like extra pressure. You might feel like you need to show a better side to others. If you're not in the spotlight within your social circle(s), you might feel the need to be. In both cases, Moon's energy can bring up unconscious desires of wanting to have connections and be validated and so, this can lead to unpleasant experiences where others are concerned. The key here is to not hesitate in expressing yourself while also being considerate towards other people. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 6th and 9th house. What you need to be careful with is to become too absorbed by whatever knowledge you're trying to gain and forget about your daily life. Venus' energy can make you more passive when it comes to routine and Mars' is giving you the boost needed to pursue education, hence why balancing these two out might be the better way than falling into one extreme. In some cases, you might end up forming a connection with someone from another city/country and this someone might share knowledge that you're very much interested in.
♏︎ ―― SCORPIO RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 4th and 7th house. The theme here might be one of family versus relationships outside of the family. Perhaps your family disagrees with the type of people you associated yourself with recently as there might be feelings of you being restricted. On the other side of the spectrum, the people you associate with might find your family too free-spirited. Or you might want to be more unconventional within your comfort zone, but your need for stability within your relationships arises with it and you're aware that changes in your comfort zone will affect the outside of it too. Regardless of the case, it's important to stay open and flexible to whatever new ideas might come your way in these two areas of your life. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This full moon affects your 10th house meaning that you might become inspired and more creative in your career. Even though this might also bring to the surface unconscious feelings regarding your career that are not quite pleasant, the need to just be yourself and be recognized can be stronger. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 5th and 8th house. This might be a time when you're connecting with people that have an air of mystery surrounding them, think of "more than meets the eye" (especially if this connection is of a romantic nature). You might also feel motivated to pursue things that improve whatever you're sharing with others. What you need to be careful with is to keep it real and don't allow daydreaming to take over too much.
♐︎ ―― SAGITTARIUS RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 3rd and 6th house. Sudden events might happen that end up disturbing your daily life and might even take a toll on your health. You might have a strong urge to improve your communication and thinking skills, but the disturbances that come from the 6th house might get in the way of this. All of this can lead to frustration since you might feel like you're being restricted so your instinct might look for ways to break free, but as long as you keep an open mind and are willing to be flexible, you'll find the solution to whatever challenge comes your way. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This affects your 9th house meaning that you might have the urge to express yourself by putting your knowledge and beliefs for everyone else to see. At the same time, you might also feel the pressure of gaining more knowledge as you might think that this will satisfy your need for recognition. The key is trying not to info dump and share what you know in a balanced way. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 4th and 7th house. It might mean that your comfort zone is disturbed by one or multiple relationships. Perhaps someone is pressuring you with their ideas and thoughts regarding your home which makes you feel like they're crossing your personal boundaries. Another case might be one where you feel motivated to change things within your home environment so you might ask for help from your connections to support you in this endeavor. All in all, what's important here is to not hesitate to talk about your needs.
♑︎ ―― CAPRICORN RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 2nd and 5th house. On one hand, you might feel like your values and self-worth are directly tied to how creative you are and how stable your self-expression is. On another hand, you might look for ways to bring something new into the way you express yourself. Regardless of the case, this can bring a change in the way you value things and yourself, but also in the way you approach material things. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This full moon affects your 8th house. Hidden emotional feelings and experiences might be brought to the surface. Leo's energy can give you the necessary boldness to tackle whatever comes up. The need to express yourself can lead you to aim to take control of whatever you're sharing with other people in an attempt to show your own personal power. Be cautious, be aware and try to not let your impulses take over. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 3rd and 6th house. Your daily life might demand you to be logical and efficient, but your inclination is toward daydreaming. You might also be interested in making short trips, either within your city or country. As tempting as it might be to try to dodge your daily life responsibilities, try to not forget about them entirely.
♒︎ ―― AQUARIUS RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 1st and 4th house. One case might be that you want to break free from your family or comfort zone as you might feel restricted by them/it, almost like your expression is inhibited. The other case might be that your family/home environment or your comfort zone stopped being comfortable so you're being pushed into being more independent and looking for new ways to express yourself. Regardless of the case, "out of nowhere" events/situations might be what triggers this. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This full moon affects your 7th house. Feeling that you might be or might not be aware of can surface and with this being in your 7th house it can have an obvious effect on your relationships. You might also be more inclined to speak about how you're feeling without much hesitation. For some, this might also be a time when you reflect on your current relationships, and perhaps even end some. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 2nd and 5th house. You might feel motivated to focus on your hobbies more, to have more fun experiences, and for some, to even actively seek romance. One challenge here is that you need to be careful with how many resources you're putting into this since you might be inclined to spend more than necessary.
♓︎ ―― PISCES RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 12th and 3rd house. You might either feel like you're having a difficult time expressing yourself or that you have a need to just hide from the world. In both cases though, it could be a good time to do some inner-world exploration. People around you might also struggle with understanding your current vibe, no matter how much you try to explain it to them. The key here is to not give up, but rather keep an open mind as you might find new ways of expressing yourself and what you're thinking. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This affects your 6th house so it might bring up issues regarding your current routine, lifestyle, and even health. It's also a time when you would want people to appreciate and recognize the effort you're putting into your work and life in general, especially since this might help you with dealing with whatever issues come up. Try not to put too much strain on yourself and just take care of yourself, maybe even treat yourself with something. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 1st and 4th house. You might feel the need to focus on yourself more, on what interest you and the connections you have with other people, but your home environment might get in the way of this. Perhaps there's a situation or situations that require you to be there, actively looking for a solution, but it's not where you want to put your efforts. This might make you feel stressed since you might feel like you need to choose between this or that. The key here is to try to balance these two things, especially since it can be a good opportunity to not only grow but to also improve the connection you have with your home and the people in it.

♈︎ ―― ARIES RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 11th and 2nd house, meaning that the tension is between matters that belong to these two houses. You might want to break free from your social circle(s). Perhaps you have one or multiple people in the said social circle(s) with which you tend to clash due to them maybe approaching the world around them from a more unconventional perspective and that doesn't sit well with your personal values. It might also be that this social circle affects your financial situation as well, either bringing changes to it or destabilizing it. Whichever the case, it doesn't sit well with who you are, hence why you might try to break free from it. On another note, your financial situation might be unstable or you might deal with an inner conflict, so you become aware of the fact that you might need to change something in order to bring back stability in this area. You might be inclined to turn to friends to find a solution to the problem. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This full moon is affecting your 5th house meaning that you might be more driven to express yourself and your creativity. Perhaps you've been already working on something so now you might start seeing the results of whatever you've been working on. Wanting attention and feeling validated for the way you express yourself can be a theme with this one so you need to be careful that you're not too pushy in this regard. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 12th and 3rd house, therefore you might experience tension when it comes to your relationships (regardless of their nature) and your communication. Perhaps you're in a situation where even if you're not aware of it or not, you're attached to something or someone, but this attachment gives you the vibe of "i want something else". You might want to talk about this, but you don't know how to properly express it so this might also create misunderstandings.
♉︎ ―― TAURUS RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 10th and 1st house. The theme here is you versus your career. Perhaps your current career is disrupting everyone's view of you and/or the way you view the world which causes you to have inner struggles and even takes a toll on your body. Since the Sun is involved, maybe someone in a position of authority is creating all these problems for you. On another note, something might have happened in your life that causes you to feel unstable right now (emphasis that this could be a physical problem) which in turn affects your career. Regardless of the case, breaking free and bringing back the stability in your life might be a strong feeling so you need to be careful that you don't end up taking an impulsive decision. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This full moon is affecting your 4th house. Perhaps you've been steadily improving what you consider home or your comfort zone, by letting your creativity take over and allowing it to reflect who you are. Since this full moon also brings a stronger need for attention, you might have the urge to show off your home to others. Be careful that you don't reveal too much. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 11th and 2nd house, meaning that tensions between your social circle(s) and your values or financial security can happen. On one hand, your practical approach might not align with the emotional vibe that your social circle(s) might give. On the other hand, you might focus too much on pursuing things that contribute to your financial security that you end up neglecting your social circle(s). Regardless of the case, the difficulty here is finding the right balance between the two. Remember, you don't have to give up either.
♊︎ ―― GEMINI RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 9th and 12th house. It could mean that you're experiencing changes when it comes to your beliefs, specifically spiritual beliefs so you might be actively learning or looking to learn about things that could give some sense to these changes. You might also experience sudden situations that make you question who you are and what your role in this world is, which might push you into expanding your knowledge in an attempt to get an answer to your question(s). Regardless of the case, this can bring confusion and a sense of uncertainty, but it can also be a great time to flourish. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This full moon will affect your 3rd house meaning that this is a good time to express your feelings, communicate with others, and be creative with your expression. Be it speech or writing, try to not hesitate in doing it, it might be a good outlet for you and a way to improve this area of your life. Since the spotlight is on this area of your life and you might have the strong urge to constantly express yourself, you need to be careful that you don't forget to be considerate towards others. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 10th and 1st house. You might end up in a situation where you need to take the initiative in setting boundaries in your career, regardless if we talk in general or if we talk about the people involved. On another note, this might be the time when you're feeling very motivated and inspired to improve your career area. Your relationships might play an important role in this. What's important here is to allow yourself to take the initiative and go for what you need and want.
♋︎ ―― CANCER RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 8th and 11th house so it's a "what I share with others" versus social circle(s). Perhaps something happens within your social circle that makes you re-evaluate your current shared "arrangements". This can push you into looking into new ways of approaching said "arrangements", especially if you're at a disadvantage. On one hand, your social circle might be the one helping you with finding better ways or might end up bringing more disruption. On the other hand, your "arrangements" are the ones that cause tension within your social circle. Regardless of the case, you might feel restricted so the urge to break free can be strong. The key here is to be open-minded and make yourself your top priority. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This full moon affects your 2nd house. This is a good time for growth since reflecting on your self-worth and values is emphasized here. Since the theme here is also about expressing and being creative, perhaps you've been focusing on things that can contribute to your financial security and if not, this can be the time when you find new ways that could help you in this area. Don't be afraid to let your inspiration run free. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 9th and 12th house. Even if you're aware of it or not, you might have desires that clash with your beliefs. You might try to connect with others that share similar beliefs and with them, you might try to do things that allow you to expand your understanding and knowledge. At the same time, you might have a strong urge to discover yourself which can lead you to feel overwhelmed and overthink everything. The key here is to understand that expanding on your beliefs and exploring who you are, share a common goal which is growth.
♌︎ ―― LEO RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 7th and 10th house. On one hand, you might experience disruptions in your relationships, the cause being your career. On the other hand, you might experience unexpected changes/events in your career that affect your relationships. Regardless of the case, the key is to be as flexible as you can and to do your best to adapt to the situation. Even though this might feel like you're being pulled in multiple directions, it can be a good time to create opportunities for yourself and set the tone in a way that allows you to easily make changes in the future. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This full moon affects your 1st house. This is the time to just shine. The spotlight is on who you are so express yourself, be creative, and show everyone else what makes you YOU. This is also a good time to focus on your interests and hobbies. If you haven't been working on any project, you might feel like it's the right time to plan for one. Remember though, overestimating and being overconfident can be a downside to this. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 8th and 11th house. The need to focus on your social goals and desires can be strong, the difficulty being that you might end up neglecting the people that you share a deep connection with. Since your 8th house is in Pisces, you might have a tendency to be overly sensitive at times, especially when being confronted so if one of your deep connections points out that these days you're too passive, your reaction to it might be to burst out. On another note, you might feel driven to communicate with other people in an attempt to bring more connections into your life.
♍︎ ―― VIRGO RISING
■ Sun square Uranus: This transit activates your 6th and 9th house. What this can bring is "out of nowhere" experiences that have the potential to turn your daily life upside down. Be it routine or health, it represents challenges that you might have to deal with by educating yourself on the specific matters that create these challenges. One other side of this is that you welcome these experiences since they're opening the door to improving your current lifestyle, something that you might've wanted to do for some time, but didn't have the opportunity to do so. Regardless, try to now shy away from unconventional approaches since those might be the solution to whatever you're struggling with. ■ Full Moon in Leo: This full moon affects your 12th house. The experience might not be comfortable for you since it can bring up subconscious feelings that you might have and don't feel ready to deal with. But Leo's energy is here to help you by providing you with the confidence and courage to confront whatever comes up. Even though this might feel intense and at times confusing, it's a good time to self-reflect and find the right outlets that support you in dealing with whatever you have to deal with. ■ Venus square Mars: This transit activates your 7th and 10th house. You might focus a lot more on pursuing your career goals, while openly communicating about it which in turn might cause instability in your personal relationships since the people involved might feel like you're not prioritizing them enough. Though, if you find the right balance between your relationships and your career ambitions, these personal relationships might play an important role in helping you achieve what you want career-wise.

‼️ disclaimer: this is my personal interpretation based on my understanding.
This is part 1 which contains an overview of the transits. Part 2 will contain an overview of how this might play out for all rising signs! ┖ reblogs are very much appreciated💜
With January ending and February almost here, let's look at what the first week of February has in store for us from an astrology perspective. Remember that this is only an overview, meaning that nothing else is considered but the placement in question. I only took into account what I felt it's important to mention.
⭐―― SUN SQUARE URANUS The transiting Sun tends to bring changes when it comes to how you express yourself, how energetic or lethargic you are, and how confident you feel. This might also be a period where you focus more on creative and fun activities. On the other hand, transiting Uranus tends to bring disruption, change, and detachments. The portrayal of this aspect happens through the lens of Aquarius (Sun) and Taurus (Uranus). The house shows where it happens in your chart.
On February 4th (approx 5 days), transiting Sun will square transiting Uranus which can bring into focus matters where freedom is concerned, in particular personal freedom. Maybe you feel trapped by something/someone or maybe you feel like you have way too much freedom and you don't know what to do with it. This might lead to you wanting to do something about this, hence the temptation of making some changes. Transiting Sun squaring transiting Uranus also brings instability so it might not be favorable when it comes to making a change. You can look at this as the ego wanting to break free, but for that to happen, one or more challenges must be overcome.
⭐―― FULL MOON IN LEO (february 5th) When talking about a full moon, we usually talk about how this is a time when you "reap the rewards" of whatever you've been working on and reflect on said rewards. If no "rewards" happen, then perhaps it's time to adjust your plans. With this being in Leo, the focus will be on self-expression, creativity, romance, fun activities, and perhaps even children. Depending on where this falls in your chart, you might feel the need to put yourself in the spotlight more than usual, for everyone else to see who you are.
⭐―― VENUS SQUARE MARS The transiting Venus usually brings into focus matters related to relationships, money and social aspects, while the transiting Mars focuses on what you want, your activities and your level of energy and motivation. On February 5th (approx 4 days), transiting Venus will square transiting Mars. This transit might make you more impulsive, especially in relationships (not necessarily romantic, but any kind of relationship). What you need to be careful with is mindless spending as you might get the impulse to spend resources on things you might not need. On the brighter side, this can be a time when you're productive. Even though you might be more impulsive than usual, Mars' energy can give you that boost that you need to work on things you truly enjoy. The portrayal of this aspect happens through the lens of Pisces (Venus) and Gemini (Mars). The house shows where it happens in your chart.

neglect tw So I've received this question a long time ago that went like this:
"Dear dee, Planets in which house makes our father estranged, emotionally and physically unavailable and make us immensely hate him? Or is there any astrological aspects that make our father estranged and emotionally and physically unavailable at our childhood?"
Eventually went ahead and started doing some research into this topic since I wanted to see some statistics rather than give a cookbook answer. I'm not entirely done with this research but I do have a short answer to this question which I'll give now. I will write a long post about this that will contain everything, including reasons.
A couple of notes before we continue: 1. Keep in mind at all times that this is an overview. To see the specifics, a person's chart would need to be analyzed thoroughly so you might find some of the things mentioned below in your chart or you might not. 2. I've put the question under the neglect "umbrella" rather than abandonment. 3. This is from "the person who felt neglected POV", not "the parent figure neglecting the person" POV. 4. Decided to, instead of looking at the father specifically, look at it as parent figure so this would include paternal and maternal figure. 5. 35 charts have been used in this research.
Now the answer.
The main indicator for neglect/negligence is Saturn. What I looked at was Saturn's sign, house, aspects (only between planets) and the houses it rules. Below you will find the results that had the highest percent.
saturn in capricorn (20%)
saturn in aquarius (17%) extra: saturn in aries and scorpio (11% each)
saturn in 3rd house (14%)
saturn in 1st/5th/6th house (11%)
―― SATURN'S ASPECTS saturn-sun/saturn-moon/saturn-mars/saturn-uranus: tendecy towards no aspect, but if an aspect exists, it might be square, opposition or sextile saturn-venus/saturn-jupiter/saturn-neptune/saturn-pluto: square, opposition or trine

I have a question if you don’t mind answering. Is it true that as a rising sign you’re more attracted to someone that has your descendant sign, like that’s the qualities you look for in for relationships and marriage, etc? I’m an Aquarius rising so is it true that I would be more attracted to Leo’s since that’s my descendant sign. It’s crazy but I’m always attracted to Leo men more and I didn’t know if this was one of the reasons. I was wondering if this is true. Thank you if you can answer ❤️
Hi there anon! 💜 If we speak strictly about the DSC, yeah. The idea surrounding it is that you're more prone to attract and be attracted to people that have your DSC's sign/energy. I would also add that this doesn't focus only on romance/marriage, but relationships in general. One thing is for sure, you will definitely feel that pull towards people that activate your DSC in some way. -Dee✨

Can you please tell me the differences between gemini rising and cancer rising? Them confusing me a lot, I feel like I am both 🙋️
Hi there, anon! Sure thing, but before that, I'd like to mention that your birth time determines your rising sign, also known as the ascendant, so you can't have 2 rising signs/ascendants, you can only have 1. The reason to why you might relate to gemini and cancer energy can be due to the following: Scenario 1: You're a Gemini Rising/Ascendant but have prominent Cancer energy. - planet(s) in cancer and/or aspecting ascendant, mercury - cancer stellium - mc/ic in cancer aspecting ascendant/mercury Scenario 2: You're a Cancer Rising/Ascendant but have prominent Gemini energy - planet(s) in gemini and/or aspecting ascendant, moon - gemini stellium - mc/ic in gemini aspecting ascendant/moon Now a quick overview of the two. Please refer to these 2 posts for more information: here and here. Also, keep in mind that a placement by itself will never give you the full picture, it's just pieces of the puzzle. Every placement in a chart is connected to other chart elements, therefore there will always be an influence that's changing how that placement is being expressed. With Gemini Rising/Ascendant, the overall theme is about absorbing and using the information that's around you. You might be someone who's very curious, always searching for new things that can challenge your mind. One problem that you can encounter here is that you get bored easily so you tend to move from one thing to the next pretty quickly, always looking for new things that can entertain and keep your mind active. You might approach the world from a logical perspective, meaning that whatever you encounter goes through the analysis filter after all the information that's relevant to that encounter was gathered. With Cancer Rising/Ascendant, the overall theme is about nurture and feeling safe emotionally. You might find that your approach to the world is from an emotional point of view, meaning using your feelings (instinct) to deal with whatever crosses your path. One challenge that I can point out with this one is that you might have difficulties with doing things that take you out of your comfort zone. What you need to be careful with is not letting your emotions overtake your mind since this can lead to you not making the best decisions. I hope this will be helpful to you in some way. Thank you for your question! - Dee✨
