I found this beautiful Draco x Harry x Charlie fic and it was wonderful except for the fact that the author kept referring to Harry as Charlie's adoptive brother- like Harry didn't call him Daddy but Brother- and thar just feels so wrong. In this context, they are not brothers.

heads up it’s considered rude to tag a post bashing a ship in the ship tag 💋 imagine if i made a post saying “wolfstar is incest because harry described their hug as brotherly and remus & tonks belong together in every universe” and posted it in the wolfstar tag, it would be assholeish would it not?

First off I'm sorry for tagging a ship bashing post with the ship tag. I thought we were out here just tagging with things involving said ship to 1) tell people what the post is about and 2) warn people if there are any triggers in said post.

Secondly, I wouldn't mind if other people use a tag for a ship and it's hating on ship. Why? Because I use my free will to scroll past and mind my business. I may not agree with it but that's ok because I don't have to.

Having said all that I will remove the prongsfoot tags on my post about prongsfoot because apparently it's wrong to tag the main ship?? I don't understand that but if you don't like my opinion please utilise your free will as well and scroll. I did add a 'anti-prongsfoot' tag for people mad at me for incorrect tagging bc I do understand being mislead into reading something and that is not fair.

I still however hold the opinion that Prongsfoot just seems wrong to me.

Reasons why I will never read dramione fanfiction:

1. In canon Draco bullys Hermione -I know ff is divergent of canon many times but I do not like the power imbalance between the two characters and I base ff pairings of off the og characters chemistry.

2. I refuse to read straight ff

3. Hermione's characterisation -when I read the summaries of dramione ff they usually portray Hermione as a slave (or slave adjacent) and Draco as a white supremacist (or as being raised as one). Although this interpretation of cannon could be seen as true I don't like the idea of reading a romance book between an oppressed person and the oppressor.

4. Draco is gay -Draco is the most fruity character istg. He has enough guilt to rival Eddie Diaz but oml he is such a homo.

5. Draco is in love with Harry -need I say more

If you think otherwise about any of my opinions, please keep them to yourself.

Because in my mind James and Sirius' love for each other is brotherly. I have never even felt a hint of romantic love between them.

Family is so much more than blood and looks and James and Sirius are the perfect embodiment of that. As soon as they met they were just perfect for each other. "Oh, that sounds so romant-" NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT ROMANCE!!!

They love each other the same way Sirius loves Regulus. Sirius may love Regulus differently to James but he still loves them both as brothers, which is why romantic prongsfoot seems so odd to me. They are bestfriends and that is all they are in my opinion.

Plus Sirius and Remus are endgame for me in every universe
