The purpose of this blog is to show you original concepts that our designers put together for our clients. They may be concepts that were not approved, the original concept before a client made changes to it, or something that never went ahead but we want you to see.

For those who would argue that it’s impossible to evaluate designs without real content, let me ask this: why then, is it okay to evaluate content out of context of the designs?

Yep, it's a brand-spanking new website for the Shiraz specialists in the Barossa Valley, Two Hands Wines! Deadline's 'arty-two', Jamie & Nadia, have captured the class and sophistication of the brand in the visual design.
"We wanted to create an online experience that would transport people to the cellar door. Plus from an administration perspective, it was notably important that online sales integrate with cellar door sales and their financial reporting system", explains J. Dollard - project manager/creative extraordinaire.
Above are 2 images. One demonstrates the approved homepage concept before the website was handed over to the client. This features a javascript based image slider with relevant hyperlinks as well as a javascript based news/events area at the bottom of the page. When selected, more events and news items slide downwards.
The other image demostrates an alternate login/shopping cart feature. When any of the buttons at the top of the website are selected, a white feature box slides down over the website displaying login information, shopping cart information and some recommended products. This feature did not end up being approved by the client.

The new Juice Revolution website is deliciously fresh in design and highly functional with a custom-built online shop that allows people to purchase juice cleanse packages. The brief was that the site needed to be bright and edgy with lots of white space.
Our designers came up with something clean and sophisticated. They used large high resolution imagery and bold and sharp shapes to structure the site. See the images above for the original concepts supplied to the client or visit the site to see what it ended up looking like!

The above images are of the initial design concepts for the RadioConnect.net website project. They both include the exact same features and items but are designed in a slightly different manner. One is striking and heavy with blue from the new logo and brand, and the other is simpler and uses a lot of white space.
In the end, the brighter option was selected but the live site has changed since the concept was approved. View it at radioconnect.net

What did Auge want for their online space? A website that is the beginning of the customer experience; a journey that is then continued at the restaurant. It needs to provide a taste of what’s to come at the physical venue – it’s a “sneak peek” into the real deal.
They wanted the design to offer a clean, crisp and clear style. The use of strong suggestive imagery along with a smooth transition and spacious layout allow for a pleasing and easy to navigate design. Minimizing options on all pages creates an easier more streamlined user experience. Multiple hero images transition through in the background to portray the atmosphere of the restaurant.
