my opinion on;

character in general: Holy balls. I loved David Lieberman so much. I HATED those sunglasses he was in when we first saw him (when he wasn’t creeping on his computer anyway) but he turned out to be the absolute best. I can’t describe how much I love him. He was such a caring father who did what he thought was best even though it probably wasn’t. But he loved his wife and he loved his kids more than anything and I just fucking love him. how they play them: I love that I can hear David’s voice in their writing and they write his pauses and the way he trips over words so eloquently. It’s awesome. I want more headcanons tho and I want more shit with his kids. GIMME!!!the mun: Sucks. XD

overall opinion: I think David was a gift to that show and that Phoebe is a gift for letting us experience him here. I’m so in love with everything he was in the show and I think Phoebe captures his voice and movements so well. FLAWLESS, DARLING, FLAWLESS!

know what i’ve been thinking about?  frank took over the cooking for the most part, right? when he and david were at the base together? and david is jewish, right, meaning he eats kosher meals i just think about frank taking over and david saying something along the lines of “oh i’ll make sure to grab more kosher foods” and there isn’t a discussion. frank stores that in his mind and makes only kosher meals from that point forward because frank is such a good guy ok thank you for coming

Lisa noted that he was no longer following her deeper into the back alley. Sighing loudly, she crossed her arms and turned to look at him, really taking him in. He was thin and she could use that to his disadvantage. There were no clear signs of extra muscle, so odds were high he didn’t weight lift. He did appear to be a little paranoid, always on alert. Her pulse quickened at his remarks about her father, but she refused to let it show. Once he stopped talking, she cleared her throat and kept her voice low. “I know. Know he is still alive and know that all I have to do is waltz up to his door in order to get the future I should have. The one I’m due. But, you see, I can’t. Not yet. There are…,” she thought for a good way to describe it, “…there are…complications and that means nothing will be safe and nothing will be all right until I fix it. It has to be me, I have to fix it.” Lisa scraped her bottom lip with her top teeth. “Plus…he already grieved for me. For Mom. For FJ. His demons are probably behind him now. Let’s not go opening old wounds, shall we?” Let sleeping dogs lie. It was quickly becoming her new motto. “Sometimes, what died should stay dead.” 

she knew frank was still alive and, yet, she did nothing? that floored him. however, he understood. he remembered the ache of wanting to return home to sarah and his children, but being unable to do so. keeping them safe was a higher priority than making them happy. with him being gone, they were left alone. but he was running from something big, something massive. with one word to the right person, his whole life could have become a living hell. one that would have drug his family down with him. he had owed sarah more than that.  but what could lisa be running from? by the definition, she was a child, yet the sorrow in her eyes was more mature. her face, though blank, told him a multitude of what she’d been through. she’d seen things, things many grown adults had probably never dreamed about. his fatherly instincts began to kick in and he visibly softened. “yeah...yeah he did grieve. in a way, i think he still is. but let me ask you something. put yourself in his shoes. wouldn’t you want to know your family is still out there, even if you mourned their deaths already?” he knew he would want to. if leo was believed to be dead, he didn’t care how or why, but he’d want his baby girl back. “no matter the trouble they were in, wouldn’t you want them back? frank has accepted that his family- your family- is gone, but wouldn’t he be happier if that wasn’t the case? i...i think frank would want his little girl back.”
