You know me, man. I'm a wild rogue living on the edge of chaos. I sit weird in chairs. You can't predict me.

a lord of the rings meme [2/5] characters: Aragorn
But I am the real Strider, fortunately. I am Aragorn son of Arathorn; and if by life or death I can save you, I will.

you know what. piss off someone who voted red and have a fantastic day. do the productive thing that you have been putting off. put away that thing in your room you鈥檝e been walking past for the last three weeks. throw out the expired food in your fridge. make yourself a cute little drink. brush your hair. send an email. call that person back. eat a snack. go on a walk. open your mail. fold your laundry. hope is only dead if you let it die.

If by some miracle sweet potato Hitler doesn't win come the end of the week, this won't be necessary, but should he win here are some of the first things to be aware of or do.
If you know a trans person, no you don't. Respect them as best you can in private but you know nothing in public.
Be aware that TikTok will likely be banned, find new platforms to spread information. Fuck Twitter and what ever tiktok replacement he's working on.
Learn to Garden, even in winter so you can feed yourself should prices skyrocket
Get an air purifier. The Clean Air Act is likely to be stripped of its power with the EPA deregulated, air quality is going to suffer
Should you have kids, try to supplement history/social studies education. That's the first place they will attack, if you need help ask, history teacher will help
Try and do what you can to be aware of your health before January.
Help one another. That's the best way we can move forward and make change in the future.

Uncharacteristically political take, I know, but I personally think if you want to blame any particular group of voters for Trump getting elected it should probably be the people who voted for Trump

I hope that every American who made the choice not to vote spends the rest of their lives wracked with the guilt they should be feeling over what they're complicit in. Because they are.
I hope that they never get a moment's respite from the knowledge that every death that is going to happen because of this is on their head. They had the chance to prevent this from happening, but chose to do nothing. That isn't a rebellion, that's complicity, and I hope that every day they feel the shame that should come with that.
And I hope that every American who worked so fucking hard to try to prevent this knows that it wasn't their fault, and that the world is a better place with them in it. And that they need to be here tomorrow and the next day and the next so that in four years they can know that they survived this.
