This post inspired me to draw Were-Winn

I’ve seen that someone wrote fanfiction about Pip drawing Sousuke as a vampire and the drawings having to deal with it. So let me offer you the others as monsters.

Winn as Werewolf (this is primarily due to Winn being inspired by Finn and he gets turned into a werewolf-like creature in one episode)

Albie as either a mummy or a werewolf (The Mummy route is due to Egyptian royalty being buried with piles of wealth. The Werewolf route falls under “someone evil placed a curse on the princess” part)

Giorgio as either the invisible man or a Jekyll/Hyde situation (I think it would be absolutely hilarious if he couldn’t see himself or be turned into something terrifying instead of being the attractive vampire)

OC as the Frankenstein monster (because Pip was drawing OC she probably used key items from her drawings of the other four. Plus OC is missing an arm)

So I was browsing through the Twitter posts of the studio behind The Art of Murder, and I saw that, prior to the pilot's release and even several character reveals, they made posts with most of the characters in a swapped art style (here are some links to the posts I'm referring to: 1 2 3 4).

So now I'm thinking about an AU for The Art of Murder where all the characters swap genres/art styles.

Here's what I've come up with for this AU so far:

- Sousuke has Winn's artstyle, and the show he's from is now an action-based western cartoon. Also, instead of the Bosuke spin-off, Sousuke's show has a reboot (kinda like what they did for Ben 10 in 2016) that equally few people watched.

- Winn has Albie's artstyle and is now from a 2D feature film that's sort of like Peter Pan, where she's a young girl that's whisked away by a magical boy to a place called Forever Land.

- Albie has Giorgio's artstyle and is now from a visual novel that isn't a dating sim. She wants to prove that people like her are more than just "dating material."

- Giorgio is now the new original character and is kind of like Pip's imaginary boyfriend in a sense. His vanity stems from the fact that, while the others may be Pip's favorite characters to create fanart of, he's the first and only character created by Pip herself.

- OC has Sousuke's art style and is actually a character from something now. Specifically, he's the protagonist of a "main character is isekai'd into a brand new world" anime and is a sort of blank slate character meant for the audience to project themselves onto.

OC wakes up in a bin (or wherever else his page ended up) and goes on his own little adventure to get back to Pip's room.

He makes it back to the sketchbook, completely unaware of the whole murder mystery and being like, "Hey guys, I'm back! What did I miss?"

And then the rest of the characters are looking at him like: O.O

In the art of murder, I think OC might still be alive, I mean the page is torn off but it doesn't necessarily mean the entire paper is ruined.

The paper on the dogs paws might be unrelated. I have no idea who tore the page off but I'm positive we'll meet OC again if that is because the paper isn't ruined or because Pip will draw him again I'm not sure.

At least I hope so, OC is too adorable to die in the pilot :(

Mastermind!Taichi AU, because why not?

In this AU, Taichi Fujisaki is a widowed father, and his son, Chihiro, was heavily bullied for being "weak" by other Ultimates after enrolling in Hope's Peak Academy, eventually getting killed by said bullies after one of their mean-spirited pranks went horribly wrong.

Hope's Peak Academy covered up the murder, so the bullies responsible for the prank got off scot-free. But Taichi still found out what happened and masterminded the killing game to take revenge on Hope's Peak and the students who took away the one piece of family he had left after the death of his wife.

Ibuki’s song, “From Me To You Too”, is based on a Japanese curse ritual called “Ushi no Koku Mari” or “Shrine Visit at the Hour of the Ox”.

It details creating a straw effigy resembling whom you want to curse and hammering it with nails into a sacred tree of a shrine, which is said to be home to spirits. It would take seven days and would not work if caught. It’s title comes from the fact it is done at the “Hour of the Ox”, which is from 1 to 3am, essentially the Japanese Witching Hour.

Thinking about an AU where Aoi Asahina works at a small flower shop on her own and, while on her way to work, one day finds a pretty white flower, which she names Sakura because it reminds her of the flowers on a sakura tree. Hina brings the plant with her to the flower shop, and as it grows, it becomes an attraction that starts bringing in good business. Then Hina discovers that the flower feeds on blood, so she allows the plant to drink her blood in secret, and it eventually grows into a big, talking cherry blossom tree lady.
