if you constantly struggle to reinvent yourself or comfortably fit into new aesthetics, that’s probably bc you are someone who desperately just wants to be yourself and your body is outright rejecting attempts to be someone else. accept your natural inclinations and comfort zone, but then do it to the max. make it the best it can be. the highest quality, the most done up and zesty. own it and glamorize it. ariana will humor us on occasion by letting her hair down since the world always begs for it, but at the end of the day she knows she’s a ponytail lover so she accepts that part of herself and just does it really well. you shouldn’t feel like you’re putting on a costume or pretending. you will never be able to truly reach your peak or navigate the world with glowing confidence if it takes so much friction to present yourself in a certain way. it will always look forced and uncomfortable bc it is.

some people can push past the barrier that comes with trying something new and making the transformation look and feel effortless and authentic. but not everyone can. if you have tried and tried to be like her and her and her and try this style and this aesthetic and this and that but bless your heart you just can’t stop defaulting back to your normal ways, perhaps you should listen to your insides saying that this is what you truly feel most authentic doing. just learn to do those things better. you may simply have to be an avid enjoyer of other styles from afar but not a participant and that’s okay. the way you choose to present yourself shouldn’t require that much friction. not everyone can pull off being a sex bomb or adorably innocent or mysterious or a baddie or kawaii without it coming off as cringe and fake. if any of this resonates with you, you’ll likely benefit from the mantra “me, but better” as you try to upgrade your style/presentation.

★ Hypnotic Poison Eau De Parfum The QUINTESSENCE of sensuality.

★ Dior Addict Lip Tint (fav tints: 771 & 661 though I can't find her anywhere anymore 🥲) I use it for blush as well!

★ Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation This is the only foundation that doesn't feel heavy on my skin. When looking for the right fondation in general I recommend going to places like Galleries Lafayette or Macy's, they have the perfect lighting for shade matching. I think they also tend to be more knowledgeable if you're into subtle "clean girl" make up.

★ Dior Addict Lip Glow This is honestly supper hydrating. It's actually very pigmented so I prefer the 000 Universal Clear one to avoid looking like a clown.

★ Miss Dior Rose N' Roses My favourite Rose perfume! I'm currently wearing this and I feel like this is a scent you can't go wrong with. It also doesn't trigger my allergies which is the main reason why I tend to stray away from rose perfumes.

★ Versace Woman The bottle is not the cutest but it smells so good!! To me it smells like youth and pleasure. It smells like birthday cake self care.

★ Carmex Baume À Lèvres Hydratant et Apaisant Its available pretty much everywhere! There's no better lip balm in my opinion.

Just a reminder that God doesn't love your potential or who you could be someday. He doesn't love some future hypothetical you™ but you as you are right this second, with any and all of your shortcomings and weaknesses. He isn't just holding out until you get to where you "ought" to be. He isn't waiting to bless you and delight in you. He loves you right now.

Guide me in my faith. Show me your miracles and how you are capable of the impossible. What man cannot do, you can do effortlessly.

Remind me you will do it if it is in your will. Remind me of the promises you have given me and how you always keep them. You are faithful.

I remember a few years ago talking to my Bible study leader about goals and my relationship to Christ and I was saying something along the lines of “I want people to always be able to look at me and see a positive example of someone who follows God and I know it’s not possible to literally never sin again but-” and she cut me off and said “yes it is” and I was stunned like……….yes it is 😶. I think we have this idea in our head that it is impossible for us to always choose god and we are required to continue to sin endlessly even if we have the best intentions but it’s not!! I hadn’t even conceived the possibility that I could literally renounce sin forevermore. Difficult does not mean impossible. And if you genuinely think it’s impossible to do that, I want you to sit and really question why. I started to say that it’s not a healthy goal to have because it’s such a high standard but isn’t that the point??????? Having high standards about your walk with Christ is not a bad thing. If you are serious about your journey and want to give your life to god and let your life be dictated by Him, is that really an unhealthy mindset bc it sounds like the exact mindset one should have. Giving it up to god and choosing to follow his commandments no matter the temptation, no matter the dangers, no matter what. Idk I just think we see sooo many examples of people who are only Christian in name but their actions don’t reflect it that it seems to be some sort of new standard that’s been set when it doesn’t have to be that way
