Ok so I noticed a massive influx of new Scotty fans to the fandom now that a new pretty thing is playing him.

As a certified Scotty fan since at least the turn of the century, I’m here to explain to you exactly how to fan Scotty, dos and don’t, which ships are acceptable which aren’t, what is his officially certified, canonical backstory, which interpretations of the characters are correct and which are unacceptable. I’m not gatekeeping, I’m gateguideing.
