Most New Yorkers know their friendly neighborhood Spiderman.

He's kinda goofy, makes dumb quips and just a guy helping out in a red spandex.

It takes a while for people to start noticing just how smart this dude is.

It starts with him helping out a kid whose science project broke. Within 25 minutes there is a new one with more research and points than the ones the kid could have found on the internet. The kid makes a post about how he got an A+ on a project Spiderman made in less than half an hour.

Then it's a scientist who Spiderman saved from getting robbed and then walked home. On the way home Peter couldn't contain his excitement on some of the scientist's works and hence the scientist learns how Spiderman is basically a genius.

In his newest book he thanks spiderman and the person behind the mask. Not only for saving his life but probably also saving his research with his ideas.

And then there is more. And it all kind of connects. How he fights his enemies seems a lot of strategic to people.

The way he uses his words to figure out exactly how to defeat a villain.

How looking back Spiderman knew how to defeat extremely complicated tech like enemies.

Over time there's some sort of higher respect for Spidey. Not because he's smart but knowing that with his level of genius he could be so much more than a friendly neighborhood Spiderman yet he chooses to spend his nights helping people in a red spandex.

Making jokes to reassure others that it's no biggie and insulting bad guys. All the while the media continues to call him a menace. And the only reward he gets is others safety and a churro.

The general love is still there but there's even more appreciation for all Spider-Man does.

They closed the Death Wendy's over a year ago and I'm still mad about it. It was a Wendy's located in the middle of a six-way intersection, requiring many pedestrians to cross the street 3 times in a row in order to get to it

It was one of the city's top ten spots for car crashes, multiple people died there, and the service was terrible. I miss it dearly
