ok so boom. basically I thought of a cool-ish fanfic idea I could write? it’s weird, but also I think there could be sm potential so lmk if this idea is ass because I am a slut for constructive criticism.

okay. omg why am I so embarrassed to type this out?

This fic takes place after adsom, and centres around Holland when he was in black London. While he was in black London, (there is NO Osaron in this fic bc fuck him. he was locked in an inheritor by the last 2 surviving Antari years ago) he kinda just walks around and explores the ruins of the strongest civilization to exist. He sees lots of disintegrated body parts and skeletons, burned libraries, and a rotting castle and stuff. point is, what he discovers is the craziest thing ever. The river near the palace (black londons version of the Thames) is very cold, but the coldness is radiating from something at the bottom. Curious (and also cuz Holland quite literally has been here for weeks and has nothing to do), he swims underwater only to find a GIANT iceberg containing two human beings inside (avatar the last airbender style). The iceberg itself is being held together by the two humans inside it with their magic, all subconsciously. he breaks it and miraculously the bodies are intact when he brings them to shore. Not only intact, but alive.

okay here’s the crazy part. These humans are two Antari that put osaron in the inheritor. when they defeated him something happened that led to them falling in the river and in a last minute effort to save themselves they froze themselves in ice with the inheritor. holland sees them and is very confused and they wake up and the story starts from there.

HERES MY FAVOURITE PART: the two antari are rewrites of Alucard Emery and Lila Bard (called Luc and Delilah in my fic). they’re not really “rewrites”, as their personalities are the same and they’re still pirates but this time they’re a badass 100+ yr old antari duo.

the story is basically about Holland saving his London with his new buddies and learning to become a good king for his starved world, Luc and Delilah coming to terms with the death of their world and families, and Red London + the Maresh families coming to terms with black London antari coming to their world.

There will be angst, but it will be very fun, wholesome, and so think like giant teenage friend group doing shenanigans type stuff. Anyways plz lmk if I’ve lost my mind cuz i been thinking about this okay thank you love youuuu 🙏🙏🫶🫶🫶

sneak peak

heres a lil sneak peak of the fic that I'm writing. I'm nearly done it (finally) and felt bad about making you guys wait. so here's a lil tidbit I found to be quite wholesome:

“You’re confused.” Tav began to explain when suddenly the ship jerked violently to the right. The sugar pouch skidded left, bursting open between Alucard’s boots like a kicked beehive. The sea splashed violently against the hull, and Lila let out a string of very colorful curses as another wave splashed up from behind her and soaked her through for the third time that hour. One of the bottles began to roll away. Stross sprang to life like a man woken mid-battle, sword drawn, eyes wild.

 “Who goes—?”

Kell and Rhy looked over at them from the upper desk of the ship. Rhy raised one hand towards them sheepishly, the other on the wheel. 

“Sorry!” Rhy called down, far too cheerfully for someone who’d nearly pitched the ship sideways.

The crew stared at him in stunned silence, unsure how to respond as both Kell and Rhy both gripped on the wheel, arguing over something Alucard couldn’t catch as they tried righting the ship. None of the crew are very comfortable around Rhy because despite the fact that Alucard had told them time and time again that he wasn’t like the other royalty they’d often been encountered with, Alucard’s friends tended to speak less freely and act less like themselves when he was around. To Rhy’s credit, he’d noticed. Which is why, for the last hour, he and Kell had vanished to the upper deck to give the crew space. And, as it now appeared, to very publicly fail at sailing. Kell had no business near the helm either. According to Lila this too was his first time at the wheel. But here he was, allegedly teaching Rhy. Which explained the erratic turns, the sugar filled deck, and Lila being soaked over and over. 

She looked over at the two of them with a glare that would’ve made even Alucard nervous, but didn’t say anything. Lila was not a patient person, but for Rhy Maresh she’d always make an exception.
