Monster Mags Discord

Hello friends and fellow monster lovers! I'm your local Creecher, here to let you all know about my funky lil projects. Due to a lack of monster content, I have decided we need monster magazines.

Critter Corner is a sfw, creature design magazine for authors and artists of any medium (except AI)! Written entries would be written as a person observing a fictional creature, such as a researcher, bystander, or victim of said creature.

Monster Smash is our 18+ magazine for monsterfuckers of all tiers, but is geared towards higher tiers such as formless monstrosities or non-human monsters! We aim for it to also feature authors and artists of all mediums (except AI), as well as having a special feature in our Monster Match dating quiz!

Yes! You get it! There should also be the potential of a switched POV where you can play one of the girls hunting down the killer. And as the killer, you manage to find your car but it doesn't work for you, the nearest town is miles away, they've locked down the food storage so you can't eat and any weapons they have are either in their hands or sealed up tight. Also, you're going up against every bit of info girls rely on to protect themselves irl. They only travel in groups. Carry concealed weaponry. Pepper and bear spray. Someone is always watching their food and drinks. So on and so forth. And the game should force the player to play in a similar fashion to survive. Whether the player's efforts work or not is to be determined. I kinda like games where your efforts prove futile in the end, especially when it's deserved.

You play a mass murderer or something and you break into an all girls commune intent on committing a bloodbath and maybe you pull a few murders off but once the women discover the murders it quickly turns into a full on "Most Dangerous Game" situation where you have to survive these angry women who just wanted to farm peacefully together. No weird cult shit either, you're the monster.

Length: For now, the most I'll do is 5,000 words. You will not be charged extra if I go over the limit. If you want more than 5,000

Ex: You want 5,000 wc and it hits 5,626 wc? No extra charge.

Genre Limits: None, but I prefer fantasy (dark fantasy especially), mystery, thriller, horror, and suspense.

HEY!

I need money badly rn and am trying to decide if it'd be worth it to open writing commissions. If anyone might be interested, I was thinking, $20 per 1,000 words and at max rn, 3000-5000 words.

I won't write pedophilic content or anything that can be mistaken for it (thousand yo lolicons types).

I will write NSFW, fluff, whatever, especially for furries or monsters.

If you want specific genres, I need to know what kind. Personally I like to write dark fantasy/horror/thriller/suspense type stories, but dabble in other types of genres.

If people might want this, please respond in the post so I can tag some examples of my writing.

Had this in my drafts for a while and completely forgot about it but I've always been a fan of Kid and Asura. I wrote some that's stuff floating around AO3/FFN.

Soul and Maka are cool tho! I'd probs like them more if I didn't know someone who was One of Those Fans(TM). Like a toxic, "If you don't like my favorites then you aren't a real fan of the series" type.

Senate Bill 686 of the 118th Congress (The Restrict Act)

I’m honestly a bit disappointed here at Tumblr for not talking about this bill more, so I’m going to share what I’ve learned about it with you all

The link above goes to a pdf file going over the entire bill that has only been introduced atm as shown in the image just above from congress.gov.

Now, people only see this as a means to ban Tiktok, but that’s just the mask this truly cruel bill is hiding behind.

To boil it all down, this bill lets the Secretary of Commerce to have the power to ban…basically ANYTHING on the internet.

This includes hardware like video game consoles or Wifi networks as well as software and applications such as VPNs.

It also gives the government the power to monitor, basically everything you do online, private messages, posts on social media, streams, you name it, they can monitor it.

And the punishment for using, say, a VPN to access Tiktok, will result in 20 years in prison with a 1/4 million fine, a full million if you did it on purpose.

Now, I please ask you all to go to your representatives and tell them about how you don’t want this bill to be passed whatsoever. Heck, if you have to, (passively) threaten them with supporting their opponent in the next primary in any way they can. Just remember to be respectful and civil.

If you don’t want to do that, I respect that decision, and I understand that you wouldn’t want to deal with politics. But, I at least ask you to signal boost this post by reblogging it to your own followers and give any other thoughts about this that you might have in the tags or just normally.

I don’t want this lovable hellsite we all call home and made such good friends and memories on to be under the eyes of those pedophilic heathens who can’t seem to even know how to unlock a smartphone.
