So earlier this year, we put a call out to our fans to see if anyone’s relatives were in bands back in the day. That lead us to Los Panky’s, a “hanky panky” band from Mexico City circa 1962-65 who’s drummer had a son named Ryan San Martin, who turned out to be a Burger Fan!!! He responded to our request and that he’d be interested in doing a cassette of the material since it has been stuck in obscurity for the better part of 50 years. Of course we were super down so we released the cassette collection which, with the help of Ryan and his passion for rock n roll, led to Noisey doing this interview/feature on the story of LOS PANKY’S!!!
