loud, roaring noises came booming from the living room as you were trapped in your room, doing online schoolwork. your parents were arguing for the millionth time today and it annoyed you to the max. your parents have fought with each other constantly, ever since your dad had gotten fired from his job back in july. your mother wants him to get out of the house and find himself a job, while your father wants to do whatever pleases his ego.

of course you had schoolwork to do, and you tried ways to block out the noise, but nothing seemed to work on your end. you were lying back against your chair, sighing in frustrating, just being fed up with your parents' arguing all the time. 

the one noise you could hear though: your phone ringing. you looked at the caller ID name and noticed it was wooseok, your best friend, calling you. you were taken aback at first, but then decided to answer his call to keep him from waiting.

you snuck outside your window and placed the phone to your ear, hoping that'll help block out the yelling.

"wooseok.. you picked the wrong time to call buddy." you sighed in frustration.

"ah, they're arguing again aren't they?" wooseok asked.

"yep, i can't even do my college work or classes because that's all they've been doing this week is arguing and it's ticking me off." you ranted. 

wooseok knew that your parents had constant arguments with each other. it had gotten worse and worse as time went on when your parents were at each other's throats.

"i'm sick of your parents.." wooseok sighed.

"believe me, i feel the same way buddy." you agreed, "all i want to do is runaway from here.. and just go live on my own.. or with you."

there was dead silence between the both of you for a couple of minutes, before you heard a glass shattering noise, coming from your parents' bedroom.

"do me a favor," wooseok instructed, "pack up everything you can. i'm coming down there as soon as i can alright?"

you nodded, got off the phone with wooseok, and snuck back inside your window into your bedroom. you grabbed some duffle bags and a piece of luggage that was gifted from your cousin.

you placed both bags on your bed and just started shoving pieces of clothing from your closet, not giving a care if they were folded or not. you were glad that wooseok was going to help you run away from your parents' house, since you're tired of them yelling and throwing items around the house. 

trying to be as quiet as a mouse, you snuck into the bathroom to grab some toiletries, shower items, the basic necessities for self care and slowly went back into your room without getting caught. you also managed to grab a booklet of your old baby pictures in which recently your mom had given you.

you finished packing up everything, including your schoolwork and textbooks and immediately snuck out the window. wooseok was nowhere in sight, yet. you went over to the side of the house, threw your bags over the fence and climbed it without falling over onto the ground.

thankfully you made it safely onto the ground without straining your ankles. you sighed, pulled out your phone to text wooseok and told him where you were. he probably won't see your text message until he arrives at your parents' house, but somehow you got a text from him quickly.

"hey, my car won't start.. so i can't drive to pick you up. can you maybe run or walk towards my house?" wooseok sent.

you nodded in agreement and just decided to run away from the home, even if it means getting caught. but it's your only chance to get away.

"oh please don't let me get caught.." you thought.

and then you bailed for it. your hands were latched onto your bag in one hand, while the other one was on your shoulders. you ran as quickly and speedy as you can to get away, hoping that your parents didn't see you.

[ 30 MINUTES LATER ]

you had finally arrived at wooseok's house safely and out of breath. you knocked on his door while trying to catch your breath from running.

"ah you're here, come inside and let me get you some water." wooseok reassured you.

he helped you walk inside of his home. you  of course, took off your shoes, placed your bags on the floor and meandered your way over towards the soft and comfortable couch. meanwhile, wooseok was getting you some water from the kitchen. he also got you some food while you're at it because he knows that you're hungry.

"alright here you go. i got you a snack as well since i knew you probably haven't had anything to eat much. eat and drink up while you're at it." wooseok said as he placed the cup of water on the table.

wooseok sat next to you on the couch, while you were exhausted and drained from running so many miles to his house. you had the strength to take off your jacket and lift the glass of water from off the table. you chugged the water down your throat and swallowed it whole. "how about we watch some movies? it'll help you get your mind off school for the night." wooseok suggested.

"sure," you nodded, "do you mind if i use your shower first? i need to freshen up from all that running."

"yeah go ahead. second door on the right." wooseok nodded.

as you were preparing to take a shower to freshen up, wooseok decided to get everything set up for the movie night. he grabbed some pillows and blankets from the closet and even prepared some snacks that he had leftover.

once you had finished, you went back into the living room and sat down on the couch next to wooseok. wrapping the cozy blanket around your body, you got into a comfortable position, but to wooseok it wasn't comfortable at all. your neck kept getting stiff and it hurt like hell.

"you don't look comfortable.." wooseok noticed, "you can rest your head on my chest if you like."

you were taken aback yet again. usually if you were uncomfortable, he would let you rest his head on your shoulder, but this time on his chest. "are you sure?" you asked nervously.

"yeah of course. i wouldn't mind, and on the other side too you seem to be burned out from school and your personal life, so let's enjoy each other's company." wooseok reassured you.

you nodded and climbed into his embrace. it was awkward at first with you lying on your best friend's chest, but on the bright side at least it was comfortable. you closed your eyes for a minute while wooseok was selecting the movie to watch.

unexpectedly, you wrap your arms around him and just snuggle into his chest. and gosh did this man find it so cute. "if i drift off to sleep, you wouldn't mind right?" you asked.

"not at all. get all the rest you need." wooseok responded.

you nodded and closed your eyes in hopes that would help you drift off to sleep, however as you were drifting off into dreamworld, you felt lips touch your forehead, which was unexpected. you'd knew it came from wooseok though. 

"i love you." wooseok whispered.

you started blushing like an idiot. his sweet little confession was sending you over the edge. "oh.. you heard that didn't you?" wooseok said nervously.

"yeah i did.. and i actually like you back dork. i had strong feelings for you for a while, i was just scared to tell you because it might've ruined our friendship or you wouldn't like me back." you expressed out your thoughts.

"well, now you don't have to be scared of that because i feel the same way. i'm deeply in love with you, it's been driving me crazy for the last couple of months. i wanted to confess earlier, but.. i was too shy. so here i am expressing how i truly feel about you." wooseok whispered. 

you smiled and just kept blushing like a rose. you loved him so much not just a friend, but more than friends.

"do you mind if i kiss you?" wooseok asked.

you nodded and pressed your lips onto his. that was the cherry on top. you've been waiting for months to kiss him and now you've taken up the opportunity to do so. his hands were cupped onto your cheeks and yours were too.

after a minute, you both pulled and immediately shifted your head to where it was resting on his shoulder. wooseok wraps his arms around you and rubs your back to comfort you. he places a kiss on your forehead and wishes you sweet dreams so you can get some proper rest.

"seolbi, i promise. me and my wife will get you a sibling."

"momma, i want another child.." your son taehyuk pouted. with eyes wide open, you chuckled nervously. sua had walked into the living room, noticing your behavior. "is there something wrong baby?" bora asked. you chuckled nervously and told bora what taehyuk had said to you. bora smirked like an idiot and grabbed your arm.

"WAH BORA?! NOT RIGHT NOW?!?!"

"can i have a sibling? i don't like being an only child?" your son pouted. handong laughed and reassured your son that they'll make another one, just for him, even though handong was quite flustered herself.

"your mom's pregnant again. so your wish came true buddy." dami smiled. your son hugged your leg and smiled.
