i honestly wish jacob was in a different book. twilight doesn't deserve him. someone break him out and write a novel about a boy becoming a werewolf to protect his community from evil colonizer vampires who think they're good and different because their skin sparkles.

and ofc im a sucker for casting the cullens in complicated/straight up evil light but that's not even what i mean. make the vampires completely different people if you want to, because i genuinely do not want a book that forces us to look at the cullens more when there's like nothing out there about jake.

like, can you imagine the tea of the whole alpha/chief jacob arc from jake's perspective? all of his relationships, with seth, leah, his dad, quil and embry, they're all so compelling but just not fucking relevant in twilight. someone please make them relevant.

I came across with this girl on tiktok talking about how the media treated Kristen Stewart when she was only seventeen.

Imagine the pressure she was put into when the twilight movie became a global success. She was a teenager dealing with interviews, paparazzi, and people criticizing every single thing she did. And i LOVE Rob, but it is so crazy to me how Rob “hating” on twilight and his character has always been celebrated and laughed at meanwhile Kristen was been criticized because she didn’t smile enough.

And don’t get me started on the whole cheating scandal. She has been the only one dealing with the consequences of that even to this day, when it was something that happened when she was 20 years old and that man was in his 40s (what was a man in his 40s doing with a 20 y/o).

Despite all that I'm glad Kristen still talks about Bella with such affection and respect; and it makes me so happy to see her happy and confident in herself.

my hate for the pregnancy trope in books started with breaking dawn 🧍🏻‍♀️

I have to say 🥸☝🏼 the battle in breaking dawn pt2 was so well executed, all deaths make so much sense.

Carlisle dying because he wanted to protect Alice. The battle starting to avenge Carlisle’s death. Alice and Sam killing Jane together to avenge Jasper and Seth. Leah, after watching her brother die, sacrifices herself for Esme, the only vampire who was nice to her. Having Bella and Edward killing Aro was the cherry on top.

I get chills every time i watch it.

I used to think Bella was so dramatic in new moon but now that I'm older I get it .... because my girl finally felt like she belonged somewhere, she had a hot boyfriend taking care of her and making her feel like a teenager when she has spent her whole life parenting her own parents, having amazing in-laws, a best friend......

and then EVERYONE LEAVES AS IF THEY NEVER EXISTED!!!! All of Bella's insecurities and fears came true, so she was valid for everything she did and I think she should have broken every window in the Cullen house.
