Wanted to draw my girls in some summer clothes....on a super generic background. lol I just want to make more artwork of the two. I have also finally made a timeline for my webcomic "Embers to Stars" for past events, just to see if all the characters turn out OK age-wise. Wouldn't want anyone to be creepy and stuff...

Wooooahh!! There, I wasn’t online over the weekend and I come back to a bunch of new followers!! Hello everyone!! Thank you for stopping by and I’m glad you like my arts. ^^)

I just wanted to say, that I just finished the first chapter of my web comic / manga “Embers to Stars“ and I’ll go into reworking a few panels and fixing some mistakes. All the while I am looking forward to making more artwork...for EtS and other things, since I haven’t been able to do that a lot.

I’m also starting a new job next month, so I want to get adjusted to that as well.

In either case, thank you very much for your interest in my stuff!! I really appreciate it. If you like what I do, I’m really happy about that! <3

Just Sombra in a fancy dress. I needed a break from drawing my web comic “Embers to Stars“, so I drew Sombra. I love he skill sin Overwatch and she’s definitely a hero I would like to get better with.

I really was short on time this week because of various things, but I wanted to finish this. I love my two girls a lot and although they haven’t even met in the comic, yet, that’s eventually were they are going.

I think most people I sent this New Years card to have finally gotten it, so I can post it now. I think I sent about 30 hand-written cards to family and friends. It was great fun, but I have like another 90 cards left... lol I ordered 100, because it was the lowest quantity and super cheap, but the print company sent 20 cards extra, which is super nice, but now I have A LOT left. orz...

Anyway, compare to the illustration from the previous year, my drawing has become a lot cleaner...probably I finally know how to use clipping masks and locked layer-transparency efficiently.

There is also a few new pages out for my web comic “Embers to Stars“. The first chapter is finally nearing it’s climax and the two ladies above will FINALLY meet!

Into the New Year!

I wanted to draw Aranea for a while and I thought it would be good lighting practice, because it’s still hard for me to do lighting like this. Also...noses...like actual 3D looking noses are hard as hell to draw... >.>)

Personally, I love Aranea. At first I was skeptical of her character, but in the end, she just turned out to be super cool! ^^)

I really don’t know where I was going with this and in the end it too way longer than anticipated. However, I really do the the Nier:Automata style, although I am a bit apprehensive about that washed out style in video games...like LoZ:Break of the Wild does it, too. But maybe that’s just a first impression...

I am trying to change my style a little and do better with shading and lighting and trying out more variations of colors. It's still really hard for me, but I'm getting there...I think. Some day...

It’s mostly coloring practice for noses, because I just can’t most of the time. 8D So have a little Mercy with a cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows. ^^)

I love them! Dusq’s role is a very difficult one and I am yet to determine how upcoming conflicts will be dealt with in detail...
