Femme Fatale Guide: Healthy Habits To Look & Feel Your Best Without Restriction or Unrealistic Routines
Realistic ways to maintain a healthy life/body/appearance (size and weight are all personal, not the most important metric – for certain). No diet culture or delulu-land tips here.
What I've done to maintain my 30-pound weight loss for over a decade, glowing clear skin (no pimples or discoloration, etc.), and super healthy, full & shiny hair, still living life and enjoying it – the mindful way.
Eat home-cooked meals & (plant-based) whole foods – 90-95% of the time
Incorporate at least 1 salad into my daily routine (either a large, hearty lunch salad or a simple green salad as a starter with dinner)
Include at least 1 fruit/vegetable in every meal or snack
Never restrict food groups – whole grains/potatoes, healthy fats, protein-rich plant foods, and produce are all essential to consume every day
Focus on meals, but have whole food snack options on hand to enjoy if genuinely hungry (mainly fruit, lupini beans, edamame, carrots/celery/cucumber with hummus, plain popcorn, handful of almonds/cashews)
Have breakfast after one coffee (before a second) and have dinner late enough (8-9:30 pm) to curb late-night hunger
Only have fruit and tea after dinner; Always stop consuming food at least 3 hours before bed for better sleep/digestion
Order whatever I want when going out to eat, but split dessert
Have at least one indulgent meal/dessert per week
No sugary cocktails – wine, champagne/prosecco, martinis, gin & tonic, margarita, French Connection, Sambuca, Grappa, tequila on the rocks, etc. are great options. Bellinis/fruit plus wine/spirits cocktails are a good middle ground. Sugary drinks worsen the hangover – big-time
Perceive healthy eating as a form of enjoyment, creativity, and nourishment, not restriction or deprivation (it's not if done liberally enough)
Consume a vitamin B12 and vitamin D supplement daily. Keep digestive enzymes on hand for when they're necessary
Always have a large glass of water first thing in the morning (before coffee) and by my side all day long
No soda, juices, sugary drinks, etc. Black coffee, tea, and water only on the daily – wine and no-sugar alcoholic drinks on rare occasions. Smoothies can be a great snack or breakfast, though!
Incorporate an (almost) daily walk into my schedule as a form of exercise and a mental health reset (I aim for 4-5 miles/10Kish steps per day on average)
Do short, low-impact strengthen training exercises 3x a week (15-30 mins each usually) for bone health & toning
Never forcing myself to do strenuous exercise/workout formally in a gym – it's not for me; it doesn't make me feel/look better and throws my hunger & energy levels way off. To each their own, though
Have a variety of playlists ready to go for waking up, working, dancing, walking/workouts, doing chores, and reading/relaxing
Internalizing that sexual health is a core aspect of your health & well-being – on all counts
Maintaining a simple skincare routine 2x per week with high-quality products and a couple of weekly treatments
Prioritizing my body care routine with as much as my facial skincare routine
Wearing at least SPF 30 daily
Exfoliating 2-3x per week
Learning what hair products work for my hair type; Using a deep conditioning mask and a scalp mask weekly
Using only cold water when washing my hair
Incorporating face & body massages into my weekly at-home routine
Using Uriage lip balm, hand cream, and deodorant religiously
Flossing 1-2 times a day/using an electric toothbrush

So I'm gonna try to do the 90 day vocab challenge invented by jibunstudies with this post!
My goal is to actively learn more words in addition to my usual passive learning to try and speed up my development. I won't hold myself to any amount of number of words per day as I like to do as many as possible (the burden of impatience).
Anyways, here we go for day 1! I got these words from a book of Russian short stories so they may seem random but they're all from the same story ^^. Please correct any mistakes <3 :)

hi! recently learned about the spanish word tocayo/a and wanted to share that the russian equivalent for it is тёзка
both mean a person who has the same name as you!
i never thought any other languages had a word like that,, another unexpected similarity lol
hi!!
ooo that's pretty neat, in german there is an antiquated word called "Namensvetter" (lit: cousin in name) that refers to the same concept!

As I reflect on my past, I remember living in a run-down apartment in a neighborhood where I couldn't even go on a peaceful walk without Tyrones trying to disrespectfully speak to me. The fear of rejecting them was enough to make me feel like my life was flashing before my eyes. The streets filled with trash and building of graffiti. I would wake up to the sound of gunshots or streetlights and my toxic “hood" mother screaming about whatever thing had made her angry that morning.
I can still something’s feel my body tighten with absolute fear of her wrath when I think about it. I felt like I had no protection, no one to lean on, and no one to help me. I remember scrolling through tumblr and reading all the stories of women who had leveled up their lives and so bluntly said “you can do it to” giving out tips about being softer, meeting men, and somehow having endless amounts of money, as if It was easy. (I realise now that a lot of that money they had was gained in ways I’m not interested in, no hate to them ❤️ :) but I never thought I could nor would. I could only fantasize about that life.
But now, I am free. I have made several changes to my life to get where I am today, and it feels amazing. I have moved to a new neighborhood where only affluent people reside, and I feel safe. I no longer have to worry about street harassment or holding my purse too tightly. The men that approach me are affluent and kind, and they are attracted to the feminine energy that I have somehow managed to persevere through my hardships. The man I have is amazing, he provides for me, I never worry about money, being discarded, or discomfort with him. My life is a luxury I never thought was possible for me and it still leaves me in awe.
I’ve also realized one thing well this is one of many.
men aren’t the center of my life. I needed to focus on me to get my vessel where she needed to be before I thought about men. Without doing that then my relationships would fail and money can’t hold that together (although it is an essential part of a relationship) I want to be with one person and one person forever.
Sometimes, my mother's strong masculine voice comes out of me, and I fight it with all my might.
I know that this femininity is partly artificial, (actually tumblr for all these years has taught me so much about being the type of woman I’m becoming) but I am determined to be who I need to be, the woman I see when I close my eyes and dream. She is not a warrior, but she is in a field of daisies joyfully dancing with a child's shadow and laughter echoing in the background. With my husband joyfully watching us nearby. I want to be a mother, a wife, someone who can look back at my past and wipe the tears off my face, not because I am sad, but because I have finally made it.
I’ve finally healed the little girl who was always crying in her tiny room feeling trapped and contemplating life. knowing that all of her scarifies weren’t in vain, and that we finally made all of her dreams come true.
Thank you for reading my little ramble, & Remember life can be a fairytale no matter how much the grinches tell you it isn’t. 💕

I am happy, kind and bubbly. I like to talk to people, make conversation, be funny (not on the expense of others) and be social. I love dressing up, being a feminine presence and always smelling really good. I love having a light makeup who shows my warmth and femininity. I have a kind spirit and am always ready to help and serve, showing my never ending generosity towards people. I have a sunny disposition, have a lot of energy and I am always dancing, singing and playing with pets and children. I am joy embodied. I have a loving heart and I radiate light. I am extremely intelligent and cultured, always reading something new that catches my interest, and I attend theaters, exhibits, ballets, concerts and movies. I love catching people's attention beacause of how feminine and well dressed I am, wearing dresses and blushy makeup. I exude femininity, and inspire men to be masculine. I attract masculine, high value men, who are enchanted by my warm and feminine presence. I exude princess energy. I am light. I am love. I am joy. I am kindness. I am warmth.

After constantly feeling the urge to bark back at negativity, being loud in order to be heard, having a bad attitude to get the attention I was lacking, always having to have the last irrelevant words to feel complete, & people pleasing my way into a hole of despair: I am done. I am done stressing about anything, why should I when I can just let it all go, move on & do the things that make me content & allow me to rest in my soft femininity🧘🏽‍♀️
I want to remind you that having the last words aren’t worth your time, being loud to be seen isn’t worth your softness, having a bad attitude isn’t worth your image, & people pleasing isn’t worth your dignity. 🧚🏽‍♀️
