Put Your Faith In My Stomach

Easy baby maybe I'm a liar

    It has been a long while since I shot an outfit so this really is refreshing and fulfilling for me! Especially that I finally got to wear this crochet dress (which I altered a bit). I cut the cotton lining of the dress to create a cut and so to emphasize my body shape since the dress is a bit loose on the waist. I wore a cut Old Navy high waist floral shorts underneath to add on some colours and a vintage see through blouse for contrasting texture. And how much I love this ankle strap sandals from Forever 21! 

Reviewing these photos, I realised how long my hair had already grown for the last 2 months. I'm actually digging to get a pixie cut but still a bit double-minded about it. Some say it's high maintenance and I'm a bit doubtful that it'll look good on me. But I really want to!!! 

Anyway, I've got a lot of other photo collections in queue and I swear I'm really trying to make time to make this blog alive again. But priorities first. Still got a pile of school works to accomplish.

Summergram

        Summer's over but not yet for me (never ever) so I've decided to compile some photos summarising how this past Summer had and should have been for me (but unfortunately not). Some photos were taken a few months back, and I'm just happy that I finally got to use them! I'm just taking too much time organising and categorising all of the photos and it's actually kinda frustrating me. But everything's well, can't wait to go out and finally find new subjects!

These photos were some of the bunch that didn't make it on my previous blog posts and even on my Instagram. I still got loads of them so this would probably be a thing here from now on. Ways to save haha

Macro Fleur

As most people who knows me, know, I have a massive love for flowers. And lately, I've rediscovered my past self who just can't help but take loads of macro shots. I've not gone out of our yard that much this whole Summer so most of my subjects were only within our perimeter. Yes, like these ones. AND I should have had much time to post more stuff here but I was such a big bummer. Well anyway, school starts this coming Monday and I feel that I'm just not ready yet even after a 3 month vacation, but totally excited to see my friends again (I believe I'm speaking for every student here). So for some blank days, I'm planning to have long overdue photo collection posts queued to fill them in (and to finally be able to post them). Yaay. So that's it!

              I was just really itching to shoot. Can't just let summer go without doing one!! What I love about this outfit is that I had a touch on these two pieces (typical). The top is actually a cut off from a dress :D Another thing is that it's super comfy especially in this intense summer weather. 

I was not a fan of colour white even though I've always pulled out a light coloured outfit. But right now I am just really loving it. And say hello to high platforms!

Three Sides

◢ The quest. ◣

I was so bored at home so I decided to join my younger brothers in their quest of a basketball court. Accompanied by our dad, we landed in this subdivision near our home. We did found an empty basketball court (the one seen above) but the backboard had no hoop so we decided to just wait for the game in the other court to end so that my super eager brothers could play. On the other hand, much happiness crawled on me as I witness yet another beautiful sunset. It was also a full moon that night, and the moon was just so round and orange-y and beautiful! Much prettiness for a night! xx

At Balai Isabel

◢ Just heavenly. ◣

A day out with my family (minus my other big brother) last Saturday! Had lunch and a quick stroll inside the fences of Club Balai Isabel. Situated right in the shores of the Taal Lake, even with the intense heat of Summer, it was just calming under the skin seeing such a heavenly view of the Taal volcano island. I wish we got to swim and enjoy more of the amenities there, because it was such a great place to just refresh, unwind and spend a good time with family and friends. Maybe next time, we will. Anyway, this day was quite knackering but massively fun! After exploring a bit of Balai Isabel, we went to see the movie Godzilla and had dinner at a nearby pizza parlour. It's been a while since we got to go out like this together, so this day was really special for me. Hope to have more days like this this summer!

Waiting For My Sun To Shine

              A very long overdue outfit post (the length of my hair would be the proof :). I'm just happy that I was finally able to post this after months and months. I actually still got two more haha

              Wearing my favourite crochet crop top from Rampage, high-waisted denim cut-off skirt (diy) and denim Converse trainers. Very casual and simple. I'm also really loving the old-school vibe.

The day I had this shoot was that kind of day where the sun is deep asleep. Hehhhhhh a Sunless Kind Of Day ;)

Sunless Kind Of Day

◢ Just too cloudy actually. ◣

 This day was already real sad itself but the weather made it a lot sadder. Plus it was freezing cold outside.. made it a lot bluer. Nevertheless, we still loved it. Got quite bored, so I got my camera out.

The goats were probably my favourite. Heh.

So I've recently been posting sets of photos (which are all long overdue) just for a change from the loads of single photo posts. Can't wait to share all the other sets!

'Til Sunrise

Lying by the beach all night. Gazing on the stars. Watching them fall. Waiting.. wishing for the time to fly quicker. Wishing to finally see the warmth of the sky fading in along the silhouette horizon.

The day has not ended, even so another day has begun.

So worth the sleepless night! I can absolutely sacrifice some sleep just to see this happening. The sun slowly rising and bursting light and colours into the sky. I could wake up to this every morning and never get sick of it! Simply marvelous! Taking these pictures was almost effortless. Everything's grandly beautiful, I could just pan the lens anywhere then click the shutter button and yaay. Haha

Oh.. it's already Summer.
