Yesterday was A real nice day because I ate shrimps and remembered how much I love them.. (John doesn't eat them at all so I often won't think to even buy stuff if he doesn't like it cos I think of things we can do together). I examined the roots of this tree as I passed by and it reminded me of my family tree. My roots are my parents, grandparents and ancestors... The trunk is a strong and sturdy foundation thanks to them. Thanks to all their hard work and dedication. Thanks to the time they spent cultivating our family and instilling values and beliefs. Encouraging us to be the best that we can. Creating a lasting legacy which shows in the branches that are myself, my brother and cousin's. We are all flourishing in our own areas of life thanks to them. Even in the passing of Grandma, her impact will carry on. Her passions and her life have positively impacted all of us. Thanks Grandma for who are, and everything you have given us! Love you! Rest well with God. Peace, joy and love eternal are yours. I remember when I was young and hanging out at my cousin's farm. My uncle built a kind of fort in the haybales and we could crawl through into a kind of wider space and hang out there.
