I know that you have felt bored towards us, but we are also dying every second from the oppression and woes of the merciless war. The war has lasted for almost a year and a half. Imagine, as a human being, living under all this pressure and suffering, food, drink, displacement, and fear, and you do not have anything in your hands. Please, I am a mother with two children. I am not important. What is important is my children. You are needed. You can help me with anything. Please, I speak to you with your conscience and humanity. Everything has become more expensive than ever before, and we can barely get it because of the severe siege on us. My children have lost a lot of weight due to the lack of nutrition, and on top of all this, they have been deprived of their childhood. We no longer have a life. We could die at any time. At least your help can enable them to do what they need and to buy them what they want before anything bad happens. Do not be lenient. I know that you are fed up and bored, but at least you can help me and be a support to me and my children.

Bombs are still falling on Gaza, and the situation only worsens. Dina and her children have been living in these conditions for over a year. She deserves better, her children deserve better. Please help my friend, I don't want to see her family continue to suffer. It breaks my heart hearing the fear and danger they live in every day, and I only hear a fraction of what is their reality.

The crossings boarders are closed again these days and war return in Gaza.

We are currently facing an unimaginable and heartbreaking situation in Gaza. After receiving orders from the Israeli Forces to evacuate our area, we were forced to leave our tent, running for safety while bombs rained down around us. We fled with nothing, seeking refuge in another area that, unfortunately, is just as unsafe, leaving us exposed to constant danger.

Now, we are living in tent which needs new setting, enduring the cold, rain, and the constant fear of more attacks. The lack of basic necessities like food, clean water, and medical supplies is taking a heavy toll on us. Prices for essential goods have skyrocketed, and it’s becoming impossible to meet even the most basic needs for survival.

We are urgently asking for help. We need immediate support to provide food, shelter, medical aid, and funds to help us get through these difficult days. Without assistance, our survival is uncertain, and we are reaching out to anyone who can offer help in these desperate times.

If you are able to contribute, whether it’s through donations, sharing post, or offering any kind of support, it will make a life-saving difference. Your generosity can help us stay alive and find hope amidst this crisis.

I'm Areej I was an English teacher and a creative writer at we are not numbers

before war and everything change after October 7. Also I'm a creative writer at we are not numbers.

Also I am a mother of three children. We have lived through the war for a year and a half, and we have lost everything we own. My husband is a man who did not work. Before the war, I did not have a breadwinner or any source of income. During the war I didn't give up to teach so I volunteered and had good chance to help some students to get engaged again with English in a very creative way.

We are in tents for almost two years.

After our several evacuation from place to another.Now we don't have a house after it was destroyed by missiles. I now ask you to help me rebuild my house. And buy basics for the daily essentials for my children and I need money so that we can stand up again and start again.

This war wasn't easy at all it has taken many friends at work, students and some of my colleagues at the university. They are almost ten souls I won't never forget . Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.

Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:

We were so afraid and we don't have money to go to a good place to live in. I need at least1000$ every month. I am Musab Ahmed. I once had a home, I once had a life… but now, everything I knew is nothing but rubble. My house was completely destroyed by the relentless bombing that took away even our memories.

My body did not escape this war—I was injured in my shoulder, underwent surgery, but I still need another operation to regain my full mobility. Yet, the greatest pain is not mine… it’s the pain of my daughter Lama, whose little hand could not withstand the bombing. She was injured and had to have a metal plate implanted in her hand, and we are still struggling to get her the treatment she needs.

All we ask for is a chance to live… A life that was stolen from us under the bombs and destruction. We need your support to continue our treatment and to try and rebuild what’s left of us.

I find it strange how I’ve seen people infantilize Kat due to her illness and disability when that’s the last thing she wants them to do and why she was scared of telling the group. The moment you tell people, they often only view you as your disability and not you as a person.
