My newest piece and final project of 2021 :Transmission.

Overlooking the landscape, a giant being emerges from the landscape with giant hands transmitting energy and light for visitors to pass through as they enter and exit the gateway of the @mojavemoonranch in the Mojave Desert just outside Joshua tree in California

Made from steel and concrete with stainless steel moons in her palms adorned with dichroic mirror mosaics which change color depending on the viewing angle .

This was a new experiment with mosaic and I loved how it spoke to the surreal landscape.

It was an absolute gift to be able to create in such an epic location

Creating something of this scale in this environment is a combination of many cosmic factors. I have been reflecting a lot lately on the role of luck in my life especially when creating something like this.

Lucky to have met a visionary client such as Morgan who gave me her full trust and support.

Lucky that the desert weather was so kinds to us.

Lucky to have Rob and Sam to battle with me in the trenches.

Lucky to have Jonx to laugh at us when shit gets real.

Lucky to have Chrissy to catch us.

Lucky to have had Clint, Alex, Jeff, Sara, Diego Angie, and a Luke who's energy is forever embedded in this piece.

Lucky to have this wonderful opportunity to create magical things in magical places.

Very Lucky indeed.

The artpiece is not open yet as we are currently building a viewing platform were photography and viewing can safely and respectfully take place. Kindly respect the signs. We also plan for the artwork work to be included in various annual arttours.

She is strong 

She is proud

She wakes up every morning, not to please anyone but herself

The skin she wears, she wears with dignity

Shes learned that life is not meant to be figured out

She knows her worth and will continue to teach another young female hers

She wears what she wants, and shows the parts that make her feel the most beautiful

Us women need to remember we are all the same, facing the same battles

If you have to carry that hate, carry it with class and remember why you do

This is meech and he has been missing since November 23rd. My heart is in literal shambles and i have now lost my best friend. Not only have I had him since he was a pup but he was the last pick. Nobody else wanted him because of his tail and boy did they fuckup when not picking him. such a special dog. one of my favorite pets ive ever had. He was last seen in goodman MO by the train tracks not that any of you might find him for me. Hes been through everything ive been through which has been alot. last night i needed him most and he wasn't there. he had my personality which was goofy, athletic and jus loving. Ill miss him forever but there is still hope for me that he will come back. I love you meechie

So many nights in the same spot

Smoking the same type of cigs

Does the pain ever change?

Change like the star placements

If only it were as beautiful...

Cold air makes it hard to breathe

Kinda like the memories that draw my pain on a blank canvas

It’s dark out 

Is anyone there?

Is anyone listening?

Does anyone care?

Will I sit in this spot a year from now asking God why the pain still feels new?

The only victory in this spot is the hills where the sun shines through early at dawn

I might just stay here

I’ve accepted ill always feel the pain, but isn’t it beautiful?

I remember when i took this photo. I was in a ‘not so happy’ time in life. I was struggling to love myself, struggling with drug use, and struggling with my relationship that I had been in. This picture represents the beauty in something so dark. Had I not went through all those things, I myself would not be the person I am today. Remember to always look @ the beauty.
