Heyo! So decided I’d do another redraw of another favorite piece!

I loved the smoke in this one :3

Not sure why I did a pipe in the original when N! Oz only smokes cigars in the canon of the AU

Also made the smoke more wiggly lol

toying around with an idea that the original maidens were salem and ozma's daughters (the eldest daughter's magic was shown only as the elemental swirlies, the colors match, etc) and their deaths started the cycle (the power transfer -> a combination of ozma's reincarnation & salem's immortality?) but at some point in time oz also did give them parts of his magic, just not the elemental kind (which he has never been shown to use) but rather the four gifts, thus making the maidens the keys to the vaults.

so like, by technicalities and skirting the line, he never really lied about how the maidens came to be, but it's not The Truth either, hence why jinn would include such things as "oh hey, btw, ozma and salem had four kids who all just so happened to be girls and were capable of magic, surely this brings nothing to the mind wink wink ;)"
