I don't get requests for commissions too often at shows, largely because I don't advertise it as much as I used to. But yesterday I got a request for Obi Wan and Cody touching foreheads, and I like how it came out. The commissioner loved it, which is the most important thing.

So seeing as Twitter has become a cesspool, I decided to follow the flock over to BlueSky. If you'd like, feel free to give me a follow over there.

I've been trying to post a bunch of my art over there, as well as Hannibal's Sketchbook pages, and the occasional watercolor practice piece.

Figure it'll fill the same roll as Twitter, namely somewhere I can post the random shower thought and have conversations with people. Much as I love Tumblr, I don't tend to shoot the shit as much over here. I think the implementation for public discourse is a lil' clunky.

Here's a selfie from today. Look how well my beard is coming in! Slowly filling in along the cheeks. Also, I dressed up for my first day at a new department at work, and I am actually loving how I look for once. :3 Death's-head hawkmoths give me confidence! They remind me that I too can bluff my way into a bee hive by dressing the part and winging it. *Buh dum tiss*

This page was a struggle, as I dealt with motivation and health issues. However, I'm slowly unlearning self-sabotage practices, so I won't let guilt paralyze me. I missed my goal of a page a week, but that's okay. One mistake doesn't have to rob me of all the progress I have made. In the past, I would spiral and freeze, thinking I would have to make up for lost time by doubling my tasks. Nope, that only made my anxiety and stress increase, further paralyzing me.

We are building healthy coping skills, everyone.
