Ugh my heart.

I love to think that during Kaz's journey to re-learn skin-to-skin touch, he starts touching Inej's hair instead. Just going through it with naked fingers, or combing it, or maybe even braiding it. He's a bit tense at first, because he's still Kaz Brekker and affection doesn't come natural to him. But eventually it becomes a habit. It's a way of telling her he's trying, and he's giving her his best. It's a way of being intimate without getting triggered, a way of cuddling her without ruining the mood with staggered breathing.

i always found it annoying how the archeron father felt most apologetic towards nesta and even named the main ship after her like it wasnt feyre who kept them alive all those years in poverty and he never once defended feyre where was her apology

Oh god anon you just reminded me another reason why I hate acowar, especially the ending. Now I'm going ti rant a little.

It was feyre who didn't leave his side when those men came to beat him up, it was feyre who stepped up and played his role in the family when he couldn't, it was feyre who risked her life everyday to feed him. And all she got in return was an emotional "Don't ever come back" meanwhile the daughter who mocked his disability and sneered at his wounded leg all her life is the one he apologizes to? Names the main ship after her and nothing for the one who is the reason he and his family are even alive, who loved them while never expecting anything in return. Pathetic.

My girl deserves better.

That scene in book 1 where the puca comes to feyre as her father and she doesn't even ask any questions she's about to break into tears at the sight of him and immediately runs for him, still breaks my heart."My father had come to take me—to save me." "My father—my crippled, broken father had come." The fact that the puca comes to people in the form of their deepest desires and feyre's deepest wish was to be loved by her father and for him to fight for her the way she had for him since she was a kid 🥲💔. But in acowar she doesn't even get a simple thanks from that man. Feyre deserved to have the last father-daughter moment idc. It would've been a redemption of sorts for him to finally give the daughter the love that she'd always craved not the one who never gave a shit about him.
