Hi all ~

Time has kind of gotten away from me lately, but I'm so excited to be back with lots of writing inspo for Encounters! I just posted a new chapter the other day, and will also be updating on the 23rd & 30th for two special occasions. . . :)

Currently working on responding to all of the lovely comments and messages here and on ao3, I feel like a niffler surrounded by shiny things lol

I get so emotional when writing Encounters of the Future Sort. I just posted chapter 22 so here's some spoilers to ease my terrible cliffhanger habit, before we all fall over the edge 😊

PLEASE do not read below the cut unless you want EotFs spoilers!!!

1. I'm writing two endings to this fic. One will be canon compliant, the other will be canon divergent.

2. It probably goes without saying at this point that this fic will never bash any characters.

3. Sev will sort out his priorities and Lily will forgive him. I won't give any more than that away, but it'll happen reguardless of the ending. Which is cryptic lol but I promise it'll make sense eventually.

4. Those were really my main points for writing this, but my ask is always open. I may or may not give you a direct answer...but either way I'll be tempted to.

Hi all ~

An Encounters of the Future Sort update—because I realize it's been almost a month since I posted the last chapter.

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with the holidays. I recently started a new job too, so I've been fumbling to get comfy with that routine (Love the job! Just new people and whatnot).

Super excited to find the time to write again but until then, sending you all my love <3 It can be an emotional time of year, so I hope you find the time to take care of yourself too, and enjoy the little moments this season brings ‧ ₊ ˚ ‧ ₊ ‧

I'll be hanging lights and hopefully baking some fun things. Always looking for new ideas for stuff to make, I like experimenting lol. I think I'm gonna whip up some mini meat pies with butter crust and find something to put a block of cream cheese in next (can't go wrong right?). Totally here for any new recipe ideas! My ask is always open :)

A freak cauldron explosion leads the Marauders, Lily, and Sev hurtling forward into the future where they come into contact with Harry and friends during their 5th Year at Hogwarts. Alternating POV's. Anything is possible. Lots of silly shenanigans, but also an emotional rollercoaster. ��� ⋆ ⋆ Harry held his breath. The following fraction of a moment felt like a heartbeat split with an eternity—unstable enough to simultaneously rattle and soothe the collective consciousness. A boy of Harry's height and frame stepped through the portrait hole. He had round spectacles, a long nose, and dark hair that stuck up in all directions. "Wow!" Fred and George exclaimed in unison, looking between Harry and James. "You're identical!"

I know you have some Wolfstar in your fic. Are there any other HP ships you are passionate about, either Marauders era or Harry era?

Honestly I'm here for anything that's written with intention, no matter the ship. I love viewing these beloved, familliar characters from different perspectives and I'm always blown away by the incredible writers in this fandom. I'm not a huge romantic, but wolfstar found a special place in my heart. Sirius's wrongful imprisonment combined with Remus's loyalty— both with the otherworldly strength to remember who they are and carry on despite their insane hardships over all those years—just has me constantly tearing up 🥲

Sev sharply flicked his wand and Lily jumped back in surprise as the rusty metal vault blasted upwards in a cloud of dust, violently knocking the wooden shelf above it. Reflexively, Sev extended one hand to catch two glass vials before they fell to their demise on the cold stone floor.

"Thanks for the warning," Lily said, brushing dust from the front of her robes. "Is there any other use for that spell besides breaking-and-entering?"

"Controversial magic is simply for the discernment of the caster," Sev said quietly. He felt the back of his head grow warm where Lily's eyes bore disapprovingly, but now was no time to be conscientious of her feelings.

He had discovered a loose thread that wove together the very fabric of time—and all he had to do was pull.

Oh my goodness, I came here to write you a note about your fic and saw your reblog of my posting update. It's been an emotional day (and it's not even 4pm where I live). *crying tears of joy* So I read through chapter 20 and I love your story. It is sweet, and light, and also got me really emotional (maybe it's just the day) but the James with older Sirius and Remus... my emotional reaction was really unexpected. I focus so much on the ships in my writing, but the friendships are definitely NOT forgotten. It's just not where my mind goes first. And goodness the friendship between the Marauders was just a tragic a loss as any of their ships. I love the time travel idea, not something I would have thought of writing and reading it is so fun. You have such a great sense of humor. It comes through so well in your writing. And your characterizations, the dynamics between those characters, the dynamics between past characters and Harry's entourage are so spot on. You have clearly thought about Harry Potter a lot and know the series well. I think that makes a big difference when writing fanfics. We have a lot of overlap in ideologies and how we view certain characters. I'm really looking forward to reading more! I subscribed on Ao3 so I won't miss it when you post the next one. :)

PS I'd love to see the Marauders go head to head with Umbridge, she is such a TOAD. I don't know if that is in the storyline but the Marauders are so much cheekier than Harry, Ron, and Hermione. One of my most favorite scenes from canon is when Fred and George produce the swamp and make their grand exit all at Umbridge's expense, and I could see the Marauders pulling the exact same stunt!

I get so emotional when writing Encounters !!! It's like all of this has been living in my head for so long and I finally have an outlet for it. Whenever I sit down to write, it kind of just pours out of me lol. I'm so happy my fic is resonating with you. It's crazy and amazing how we all have these universal connecting experiences in this fandom <3 And it's so exciting to me that we have a lot of overlaps in character ideaologies, especially with the release of your new long fic!
