For some hilarious reason, the photographer (Ben Nokes) seemed to enjoy taking pics of my Greek Orthadox Tau, which means I ended up with great (albeit silly) action shots.

The followers of St. Miku did well! 2 up, 1 down after a very tense loss to eventual second place.

look all i'm saying is if you've ever seen someone be healed with magic, congratulations! you've witnessed a practitioner of necromancy. it's the exact same thing. all you're doing at a fundamental level is using magic to accelerate existing biological processes and animate tissue, the only difference is when you do it to dead tissue instead of living tissue, suddenly it's evil scary ~dark magic~ instead of good wholesome healing. it's purely cultural bias.

so no i don't think it's fair to say i "lied on my application" since i'm just as qualified as anyone to heal your party, but hey if you want to be a fucking narc and report me to the wizard council go right ahead. good luck finding an accredited healer at the wages you're offering by the way

Angron's Heresy - A 40k/World Eaters Fic

So I wrote a small thing, only 2k words for once lol. It's a bit of an idea I've had ringing around my head for a couple of days, and I decided to put it to paper today, so let me know what you think :)

Summary:

The battle for Terra rages as daemons and traitors rampage across the planet. In a desperate last gambit, the loyalist forces, including the very Emperor himself teleport aboard the Warmaster's ship, the Conqueror.

Fueled by all four Chaos Gods, Warmaster Angron prepares to face the Master of Mankind, and achieve vindication for his years of suffering.

But it's Horus Lupercal, loyal son of the Emperor, that first reaches the Red Angel, discovering the fallen Primarch at the height of his power. The odds are stacked against him, but Horus is determined to end his rebellion once and for all.

(This is a "What If" for the end of the Horus Heresy, where Angron is Warmaster instead of Horus)

(CW: for some bloody violence, it's an Angron story after all)

Terrible Warhammer 40k theory of the day is that Omegon and Alpharius are the Primarchs of the 2nd and 11th legion, who killed and ate the original Primarch of the 20th.

They then laid a bunch of eggs and corrupted the legion, like a Cuckoo, or the villain from Wreck It Ralph.

Straight up agree. Although I do feel there's so many sects and schisms in the admech you could comfortably have some proclaiming saints without recognition/consent from Mars. Hell, there's gotta be at least one that's proclaimed Belisarius Cawl the Omnissiah at this point - there's at least a dozen more calling him a saint or prophet.
